a dev started on porting a htc rom but they left xda. i could continue this htc sense project if you like. i need permission off dev but i can continue this. but i cant port that
EDIT: sorry racht hasn't left xda, but he left that project, his last activity was yesterday. anyway i asked permission to carry on 2.3.3 GingerBread Sense based on HTC Salsa v0.15 project. i will rename it, edit just about everything and upgrade everything but i cant promise you i will release it or anything.

hmm, this port for motorola defy. where did you see anything related to the lg p500 and mdpi?

sorry but i say an htc wildfire s port in lgp500 forum
htc wildfire s is quite similar to our specifications like

a bit off topic,but racht left this forum so do we need his permission
if u start porting i can help u(although i am new to developing world and i dont know much stuff )
i looked at the libs of racht-salsa,and it looked fine then why aint gsm and wifi working ??
if we port this rom to custom kernel then wifi problem may be solved??

its an old rom, so i will update repo. i will update libs too. its not wifi app thats problem.
we can fix wifi together, it will be easyer with both of us

[DEV] Sense 3.5 Development

So after all these threads regarding Sense 3.5 which none worked out in a solution to having this rom stable and resized for our device i started fixing it all by myself because i want this on my phone so much. Anyone who would actually help me in resizing the rom and fixing any issues or providing logcats and stuff and be interested in the development of Sense 3.5 pm me. Development may take a lot of time but we don't have to hurry. Im not saying that i will be the one to fix it immediately, this is just an attempt.

Why not submit the idea to TeamBuzz? I'm sure we could organize roles for developers in TeamBuzz to do something with Sense 3.5

Nice idea Justice, I can help with logcat and resizing, however i have no idea in how to fix gps,bt and wifi
@rayven18 can you provide a link of the most functional sense 3.5 rom for buzz, a list of what needs resizing, what fc and things that doesn't work?

The bugs i know is the ones mentioned in the original thread (framework-res and com.htc.resources need resizing, gps and some services dont function) Because its based on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5, we can experiment with replacing libs and baksmaling services.jar and framework.jar and replace the code with the one from a cm rom that might make the gps and other things work just fine

Hahaha its ok, i actually wanted to mean after all the threads that failed to develop this rom, lets fail again Just kidding, its a nice rom to try and will help me be a better dev

And where is Horse ROM, CM7.2, MIUI v2/v4, Aurora, Mokee OS? I think that this info is just from you're opinion. If you started this already, so publish links to all stock/custom ROM's and to info with root/cwm instructions. Everyone must decide to themselves abaut witch ROM is worst, good, better, best. Don't put you're own opinion to others! So everybody can make the same thread with they're opinion witch is best for them.
With this info that you writed this thread must be not in development, but in general section. So if you started to do so, make it good or delete it if you can't do it in right way.

well yes this is my opinion and i thought i should share it here. i will update it with more info anyway.but if you saw in my thread i say BEST so people can choose them. it would be useless if i provided all of them since anyone can see them from the u8800 pro forum.

I really cannot uderstand what's the meaning of "stable " , for you.
According to me , the only one full functional rom , plus tvout operation , is Horsemageddon.
So you're not objective but subjective ( as i am right now).
Anyway this is my opinion , as you expression yours , i thing i can expression mine "subjective" opinion.

i kinda agree with the aboves.Ice pika and sendu are not even final roms,they are under development.Plus they are based on Huawei ICS which they have done it (Huawei's developers) really quickly and sketchy and have all kind of bugs..You should definately add cm7.2 its an excellent rom

i didnt say that its not a perfect rom its just not of my likings. i prefer official/themed roms. liked said above its only my opinion.

both aosp and sdsl from miroslav are really buggy, using an incomplete kernel with bugs isnt a good idea. But yes, I think he is the only one developing for gt540

aosp is the best rom for gt540.
and NOT buggy like most other things especially 4.x ...
the 2.6.35 is the most complete not-lg kernel for gt540 and its blazing fast and nearly everything works flawlessy.

Just download this lib and put into system/lib/ and restart your device!
Or maybe libbrain.so crashing when device loading... need check it by DDMS

It works! Once installed libbrain.so so immediately stopped crash wi-fi!! thanks Mr.MM!

Ive got problems with camera getting stuck, the no deep sleep wifi problem, at least 2 times a day I get randoms reboots and lag because of no ram, wifi problems. A cupple of times the phone gets overheated.
miro, I dont know what this is about but I know a few things about android/linux, Im computer engineering student. I told you 50 times, Im not here to fight, just telling my experience with your rom.
Im going to try that librarys but why this librarys are missing in rom?

Have you heard that MIUI isn't gonna support the Find 5? I asked a developer why, and he said that it has something to do with a resource verifier Oppo has built in and developing on that was pretty hard or something. It's really a big shame, i would love MIUI on the find 5! Without the bugs of course. Are you able to port the newest versions of MIUI to the Find 5 or is that really difficult or impossible?
( I have no experience whatsoever with porting ROMs)
If you can port MIUI's newest versions to the Find 5 you're my hero. And the hero of a lot of other people too.

a new miui has been realised recently, it has already some bugs in camera and wifi. It is better than first rom. Isn't there someone who can fix this issues? thanks
