EI22 Modem - Epic 4G General

I've downloaded the update.zip that bit was able to post.
I'm looking in the zip file and I'm wondering if modem_delta.bin is the EI22 modem that is flashable in Odin?
If not, does anyone know where it's located?

Try this, I used it to update my modem while on the CM7 rom, and I see it now under settings.

Any word yet on whether this modem file is odin-able working?

It's for Clockword mod, there should be an odin one soon.

I suppose that's the delta EC05_to_EI22, so one need to be on EC05 modem?

This only works if you're on EC05 modem (although that's pretty easy to get around)

Correct.
"Delta" refers to the amount of change - it isn't the full modem binary, just the parts that differ from the previous official modem (EC05). This allows for a much smaller download, but requires the correct base file for the changes to be applied correctly.

I am on SFR 1.2 EH17 Modem. I had to odin back to ec05 modem, then was able to flash EI22 using ACS CWN. It would not flash while on EH17.

Confirmed. I just tried flashing from EH17 modem...no luck. Have to wait until after work

Can someone extract the modem.bin file. Maybe we will get lucky and we can get 3G and phone to work on the T-Mobile tab.

I wonder what's new in this build, how's the internet browsing speed?

No visual changes and browsing speed is a lot better without Fc's or crashes.

I couldn't wait and flashed it too. Yep, faster web browsing, kinda like JM6. I'm excited. Can't wait for Gingerbread.
can this be flashed of JM6 or that JK7 firmware?

I don't think so as its an upgrade to a previous firmware but thanks to "AbuYeyah" here is a firmware that you can use with re-partition and PIT.1 and you are good to go with it,
http://www.multiupload.com/A1ZVXU4868
pass= ce4arab.com
actually i got it to work with the original coming from JK7. i didnt partition. i dont every wanna partition again! so i just flashed it with heimdall and booted into recovery to wipe the data and restarted just fine. seems a lil faster now then JK7 but thats before installing any apps so im reinstalling them now and hopefully it will maintain its speed. plus its nice to have arabic text render properly.
I upgraded to JK2 (ROM in post 1) successfully in order to solve the following problems: no Market access, no Arabic support.
I managed to solve both after upgrading. However now I have new problems that I did not have before: no https, no Exchange Server connection, no PressDisplay (books and magazines) connection.
What should I do? Will upgrading to the new Arabic JL2 Rom help?
Thanks

1) Does this ROM support FULL Hebrew?
2) I have a Telstra Device - P1000 - Any special flashing instructions?
Thanks

Super slow download after upgrading to KitKat

I think I put this in the wrong forum before. Hopefully someone has encountered this before and can help me get it fixed.
One thing I do need is the build.prop file (wither the file or a cut and paste) because I think I messed mine up.
The other issue I found after updating to the leaked kitkat is that I dont get the LTE symbol with the 4G on the status bar.
I used to get really good download speeds... like 23 Mb and more.
After upgrading up to KK, I get this now:

I am getting slower than normal LTE speed. Not sure what is the problem.
Yep, getting 12mbps down vs 20mbps down that I got sitting in this same chair with 4.3.

Did you flash the firmware (modems/radios) for the KK build?
Yes, in the PA slot in Odin. Can I reflash that again without having to reinstall kitkat?

Maybe I should try flashing the 4.3 modem?

At this point I would flash back to MJE and see if you get fat download speeds again. Then try 4.4.2.

Aaah i see, so there is no change for the last one.
Does this firmware have the extra large spacing in the multitask window/blurry Wi-FI icon as well? I think there has been a DPI porting issue with the French build.

Hello,
I am trying to flash the official kitkat firmware but I saw on this website:

the update is for baseband N7100XXUFND3. But I have the baseband N7100XXUFND3. Is it a problem if I flash this update and is it possible I get some problems with signal after flashing? Thanks in advance,

How to Undo root and accept latest updates

I just got a phone back I rooted for a family member two years ago solely for the purpose of obtaining hotspot. It has stock rom.
What info can I give you that will enable you to point me in the right direction to uproot and sell without issue?
I've been away from this kind of of stuff for a couple of years.

Thanks for the tip, just now getting around to it.
Are you saying to go to the firmware section and download the latest firmware?
Isn't there something I have to check , like making sure the PDA matches my baseband version or something?
