For some reason Flashtool doesn't recognise my Xperia Arc. Fastboot does though. Any idea why? When plugged in normally, flashtool recognises it without a problem:

Any idea why this happens?
You have to install the proper drivers for your phone. The easiest way to do this is by running SEUS or PCC at least once before running FlashTool.

I already did. Hmm.
Did u check unknown sources and USB Debugging checked too?
Anyway, I had a different problem where even when I had both the above checked, FlashTool gave error that read "Enable USB debugging". I had to just reflash my phone with SE PC Companion (Repair) and after that it recognized.

Recently used the factory reset settings on my phone if that may of made the problem?
Just doesn't recognize now when i connect to Kies and comes up with this message^^^

In my quest to resolve the FsUsbService64 Service Initiali Failed errors, I found a newer version of KIES on this website.

Downloaded and installed Kies_1.5.3.10104_66.exe 20-Nov-2010 16:14 136M
and voila, no more errors !! Problem Resolved !!
However, I am not sure where this version come from as it is newer than official Samsung version.
If you have USB driver issues, click on KIES pull down menu at top left and click on Driver Recovery. It should resolve your USB Driver issues.

i had a connection-problem to kies on windows7 not recognizing my phone.
i disabled "usb-legacy-support" in the bios and it fixed the problem.
maybe you should try it out...
Hi, my phone is rooted, but still on stock rom with twrp recovery. My problem is that whenever I try adb commands or even check devices, it says it offline but when in fastloader and try fastboot devices, my device is seen and communicating well. Why is this so? What did I miss to do?

P.S., after unlocking my bootloader and installing twrp, i locked it again. Is this the reason i cant connect via adb or this issue is not related at all?

Do you have the latest adb? With 4.2.2 a security feature was added to allow for white listing computers connected via adb. Older adb versions don't work with this.

I'm using 4.4 and I want to put 4.4.2. Problem is that I'm rooted and bootloader unlocked. So I need to put a new bootloader in other to get the OTA update but I can't because no matter what I do, I get Error: device not found.
All drivers installed and reinstalled many many times.
Have you tried going into developer options and selecting "revoke USB debugging authorization"? Then plug your device back into the PC ....

Hey,
I don't think that is the case since I have a brand new Win7. The phone was never connected to it. Anyway I tried of course and it didn't work.
I plug it on the PC and it asked for authorization and I give it. Then I disconnected, turned it off and went to fastboot mode. Re-pluged and no detection.
RSD Lite detects but adb no.
Have you tried PTP (camera) mode?

I can get in fastboot mode & flashmode without problems and my pc recognizes very well. But i can't boot on android

Get flashtools and wipe it clean?
If you can get into fastboot or flash mode without any problems then thats 99% not hardware problem, like @littleantony suggested, you should carefully resemble your phone carefully and try to restore stock FTF using flashtool.

I need help with unlocking the Bootloader.
I tryed it but it wont work my device is recognized when it isnt in fastboot. And when i go in fastboot my pc wont recognize the Tablet. I installed all drivers idk what the Problem ist.

Are you trying to see it with adb or with fastboot? (It isn't "in" fastboot, it's in the bootloader. You access the bootloader with the program named fastboot.)

I was uunlocking the bootloader,iput in apx mode, and plug in my pc and it recongnise,but the windonws wont let me install the drivers,so i restart and enable installing drivers from unsignated source and now mt pc wont recognise the tablet in apx mode, what to do?
