Have a nice day too
Not sure... it will definitely be between that or the HTC OneX (Or EVO X or what ever the hell they end up calling it) unless something else wacky ends up coming out around the same time.

I've been promoting the galaxy S III for a lil bit now. Its gona be a monster, and the next phone I buy.
Question is, how long will it take for Sprint to get it.

i want them to get the razor maxx, cause im done with how my evos battery just vanishes, although i do love my evo!
I just read that the galaxy nexus is coming out April 15th. Oh....decisions!
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
That's a tough call. Galaxy Nexus is an amazing phone, and should be available sometime mid april, the 15th if the rumors are accurate. As a launch day Evo 4G owner, I think it's time for an upgrade. On the other hand, the S3 is an even more amazing phone. HTC One X is potentially an amazing phone, but the latest rumors are saying it's only going to have a dual core on Sprint, so not really worth waiting for me. I need to know more before I can make a decision. If no news has come out by the Nexus release, I may just go with that.
Man i'm drooling over the alleged specs of the S3, but just like the rest of you, i'm debating between the Nexus in April and the S3 whenever that happens (i think the latest rumor is middle/end of June?) I really REALLY want some new mobile hardware, but i think the Nexus is old news. I just gotta summon the will power to wait a few more months!
I'm going to wait for the S3 especially if it comes with a 1080 display.

+1 on the S3 and maybe pick up the new HTC off contract to play around with.

helpful advice: for anyone who wants to grab the HTC One X, consider buying it AFTER the Samsung Galaxy S3 has hit markets. You will see a significant price drop. So hold on for another 2 weeks or so.

As the title says, which device are you migrating from? What's making you take the switch? Other than the price of course
I've got an OG Galaxy Note and I'm considering getting one assuming I can get about the cost of the N4 for my Note when I part ways with it.

GNexus
HTC evo 4g that I have for two years. My contract is up and I have always wanted a nexus phone as I am sick of waiting for updates and trying new ROMs that don't function 100%. I was originally planning on getting a gnex but with the price point of this phone I can't go wrong.

Coming from a Motorola Backflip. Terrible... terrible phone.
galaxy nexus
looking forward to a bit of a refresh. it is too bad that they didn't fit in a slightly larger battery, that would have made my day!
was tempted by the razr hd maxx but when it comes down to it, id get more annoyed at the lack of updates and dev support etc
Will be coming from an Evo 4g that I've had since June 2010. Switching from Sprint to T-Mobile and will try out using voip on their pre paid plans. So potentially will save $40-$50 per month while on a faster network.
The P.O.S. VZW Bionic
My htc desire z, I'll miss the keyboard, but I won't miss HTC no supporting it at all and also 4x RAM, 4x processors clocked at 2x speed, 480p to 720p, improvements all over

I'll be coming from the Galaxy Nexus myself. Hopefully it's worth the jump. Can't afford to drop too much on the phone; so hopefully I'll be able to manage it when I sell the GNexus. In any regard, I think I'll jump back into development when I do.
HTC Sensation 4G. I'm rooted running paranoid android on 4.1.2 but the s3 dual core gets so hot and I want a pure Google phone. Benefits: s4 pro, wireless charging, NFC, beam, pure Google, 2gb of ram.
I only have 16gb SD card and i never run out of storage and I only remove battery during boot loop but holding down power button force shuts down so I don't consider those as down falls.

HTC Inspire. Fortunately running ICS
S3.
Jumping back on to the Nexus bandwagon and never, ever falling off again.
Had a Gnex but took it back because I didn't want to sign a stupidly long extension to my Canadian contract. Ended up with a free S2 this summer but now since Exynos sucks dev wise, I'm switching to N4.
Can't believe something actually worked out for me and now I can get this at a great off-contract price
Let the voting begin...
1. Was using a g1 again
2. Tired of carrier phones their Dev support isn't nearly as strong as vanilla phones
3. Price to power ratio
4. Development
5. Lte support for T-Mobile
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
mostly because I still have an S2 Lol

I wanted a state of the art developer device!
After I owned the Galaxy Nexus for a while, I decided to go for an HTC One X. This was due to the superior radio/antenna and camera (at the time). Development was strong, but HTC are dicking around with their customers. Currently the dev scene on the One X is dying, which made me remember how good it was on the Galaxy Nexus. I just missed that development community. So, I bought a Nexus 4. No sweat.
Should add an entry:
Because the phone supports AWS band; Works with T-mobile in US, Wind and Mobilicity in Canada, etc.
Low price phone + low price plans combined makes it such a good deal.
Price had alot to do with it also the fact that I wanted a newer, faster phone with a HD screen!

Since I'm switching over from iOS, might as well it'll be a pure Android experience.
Because I like my nexus 7 so much! Sold my backup phone a galaxy s3 and bought the nexus 4 to back up my daily driver, the note 2.

Well my account is up for my upgrade in a week and just wanted a little bit more information from the rest of the guys in the community. I'm stuck between the HTC EVO LTE and the Optimus G. The G has tons of beefed up power and an OK amount or support while the evo lte has tons of rooms and just slightly slower. Any thoughts I'm leaning toward the evo but just wanted anotger opinion
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app
Bro wait. Get the one. Viperboy and others are already pushing roms for it. Wait the optimus g dev is dead and the ltevo is nothing like the og in the old days. Sadly.
Going to be more action on the One-Edit
To answer the question ltevo or lgog? Ltevo.

I like my EVO LTE. Never played with any of the LG Android phones, so I can't really make a fair comparison. The One is a great choice in my opinion, too. The main drawback for some users will be the lack of expandable memory (SD card). There is still plenty of development with the EVO LTE, too. Just recently (within the last month or so) devs got a Sense 5 port from the One working on the LTE. There are several custom kernels that have been released, and a few of the devs who moved up to the One still have their LTE and have stated they will continue to dev for it

Get the One and the EVOLTE . Use upgrade for the one, and LTE Evos are selling fairly cheap these days on swappa.

Decisions, decisions!

Just jumped on the OG Evo forums for the first time in over a year. I went from the OG Evo to the Evo 3D when it launched, and then preordered the Evo LTE. The LTE is a great phone and there is plenty of development for it. As much as I love HTC, I'm probably gonna pass on the One. Really wish Sprint would offer the 64GB version, but even then I don't know. I've told myself my next phone WILL have at least a 5" display. The Note 2 felt too big, surprisingly. But I really wish Sprint offered a version of the J Butterfly, like Verizon did with the Droid DNA. Not knocking the One by any means, I still may pick it up, as I usually get a new phone every year. Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Evo LTE! That said though, with the One being released, I don't know if I'd choose the Evo LTE over the One. The main downfall of the One, in my opinion, is the lack of sd card slot. Especially since Sprint isn't going to offer the 64GB version! That's a big mistake for Sprint in my opinion!! I'd take an sd card slot over a sim slot any day, as I have no use for a sim slot! Really bro, you just need to go on a store and play with the One and the Evo LTE so you can really see sock one fits you best. Do keep in mind though that if you're with Sprint, or staying with Sprint anyway, 32GB is All the storage you'll have with NO ability for expandable storage!! That's the real deal breaker for me anyway! Either way, good luck with your decision! ALMOST any new smartphone(except Apple obviously! Lol!) will be an upgrade to your OG Evo!!
