I do not have the phone yet. I've had the SG2 since March and it always showed the correct phone.

Yeah it always does. Im going through the @cpwcares twitter feed at the moment, they're pretty good and tend to send you a decent link to a support section that will help you. Telephone support is awful.

I have just telephoned CPW and the lady I spoke to seemed very confused when I told her. She said that it was showing on my order status that the price was £429.99 so she didn't know why I was charged £549.95.
I was asked to go into a CPW store with a copy of my bank statement and email confirmation so they could arrange a refund. I said that this will inconvenience me as I can't get to a store between now and the New Year so I was asked to fax the information instead. Now I have got to wait 1-3 days for a response.
Anyone else telephoned them about this?

The lady I spoke to this morning phoned me back at around 4.30pm to say that they have now had an internal email regarding this price drop and that anyone who paid the pre order price of £549.99 would receive a cheque in the post in the next 7-14 days for £119.99.
I have had my dispatch email with its tracking number and it shows I paid £429.99 lol
Fingers crossed it doesn't snow too much in the night and it arrives tomorrow!!

To be honest, I would like a NICE backup phone and for this price it's a hell of a bargain... IMO I know that prices will always fall but if your looking to use this on AT&T or Straight Talk in the US then it's a good deal considering that this device will get the updates quicker (usually) and HSPA+ is fast enough for a lot of people... I will probably ditch one of my Galaxy S 3's to pay for this (mostly) and return this open boxed one that I just got on Monday cause it's acting weird and I paid for a "NEW" item and got an open-boxed N7100 so Amazon can handle that one since it was fulfilled by them... I will probably end up getting a Note 2 on Verizon once the bootloader is unlocked (which you know it will be!) and everything will be grand!! Thanks OP!

There is none, all these unlocked versions won't work on Sprints network...
I'm definitely happy that some are able to purchase these and I wouldn't hate but that seller seems to have some rough (recent) feedback.

What would be the actual shipping cost to Canada including insurance? Are you sure it is not a fair price? I know insurance can get pricey especially when shipping international.

I was thinking about ordering from them, but they want me to put in billing info and a CC before they tell me whether or not there are taxes to NY, and I scanned their ToS and saw no mention of what states they specifically charge taxes.
Worthless. I won't want to put a card in before I know whether or not there are sales tax.

I didn't have to do that. I pressed on pay with paypal and it showed me how much I would owe before signing in.

Thanks, I tried the paypal "price check" instead and yeah, paypal was asking me to pay $42 bucks in tax for NY. Will look somewhere else.
Definitely tax in Florida-7% which is same as Amazon, Best Buy, and others.

Arizona resident too, you should be taxed. Outside of the new internet tax rules, the old rules said you had to be taxed on internet stuff if they had faciilities in Arizona. Amazon owns a warehouse here, they've been charging taxing me for a long time. Which is why I'm waiting for Newegg to add Shoprunner support to the Nexus 9 so I can buy it from them.
