There are quite a few XDA-Developers who are from China who have an HD2, but you might get a greater response to your post if you are a member of the DFT website in China and post there.

Actually, the forum should give the guy a break. He attempted to use some English in his post. Unfortunately, machine translation from Chinese to English does not work out so well sometimes. For example, the translated "brush" actually means in English flash.
I am for one glad that he tried to communicate. There are many very talented Chinese with great skills with HTC phones. It would be a sad loss if XDA-Developers lost some of these talented guys just because of language problems.
I guess we should also all remember that HTC Corp. is a Taiwanese company that has gone global, but still headquartered in Taoyuan, Taiwan, where Taiwanese and Chinese are the languages most commonly used.

No official android for HD2.that why they said that.
Why you need to ask them. Did xda don't have android rom and instructions to do it.
Another reply from the US HTC Support Center:
Dear Mohammad,
Thank you for your email, Mohammad.
We understand the importance of choosing a phone that meets your requirements.
It is not illegal in the United States to reprogram your mobile device. Unfortunately, HTC can not help you reprogram your device.
We apologize Mohammad, for any inconvenience that you may have experienced.

sorry but seriously!
EPIC THREAD !!!!!
lol lol lol
Is this a legit concern to you or are you just trolling them?
I hope to god that you're trolling them because I honestly believe that you can NOT be this stupid.
What in the name.........? Jesus Christ, let's join in...
I called Virgin Media to ask if it's ok to plug my Kryptview in at my new address.
I called Nintendo to ask if I can use Pokesav to level up a rare Pikachu I got on my Pokemon Silver rom.
I called Sony to ask if it was ok to order another Pandora battery as mine wasn't holding charge.
I called Microsoft to ask for a key for my latest Win7 Ultimate Intergrated build.
I called Disney to ask whether I could cam "Tangled" as I wasn't best pleased with the copies they'd put out.
I called 999/911 because someone cut in line at McDonalds.
.
.
.
.
and so on.
But seriously, WHY THE HELL WASTE HTC'S TIME WITH THIS TOMFOOLERY?! No wonder everyone here is *****ing about HTC's lack of support... Us people with actual product issues have to wait in line while someone feels the need to be spoon fed!
Why would you EVER expect HTC to publicly endorse this?
Someone email a link to this thread to HTC. I bet this would up productivity far more than answering one of the most pointless emails to a customer support desk I've read in recent times!
P.S. Get Android on your HD2 - whether it be NAND, RAM (my choice) or SD.
I promise you that behind the keyboard of that HTC customer service agent lays the shakey hands of a person yearning to tell you to free your device from Windows Mobile and get with the times.
Hehe this is like when some dude started a 'big' petition for official mac drivers by Apple for hackintosh.. Yes, why wouldn't they..
Dear Apple
Can I load Vista on my iPhone please!!??
who can unbrick htc hd2?
with RIFF Box jtag?
anybody got one?
i seriously want my htc hd2 fixed!
can anyone help?
Hey jackrabbit, sorry to hear your HD2 is bricked. I see you live in the US so I am going to refer you to the best JTAG man I know here on XDA. Contact Senior Member connexion2005, he runs MobileTechVideos.com. Just check out the website for all the details on his HTC HD2 JTAG services. It looks like he has dropped his prices some too.
Just tell him T-Macgnolia refered you to him, and if you have any other questions about it just PM me.

You're doing real good there. Just wanted to correct the single tiny mistake there. If I'm reading it right, you're saying that Mandarin Chinese is good but difficult, right? In English, the words 'hard' & 'difficult' are kind of interchangeable but in Mandarin, it's not.
硬 (ying) = hard, as in rock-solid abs hard
难 (nan) = difficult, as in Math & coding for me D)
Like I said, I think you're doing good! If you're learning Mandarin on your own, hats off to you man. No sarcasm.
Anyways, welcome to the forum! 欢迎你加入我们。

What's SKL? I assume it's the name of a school? Good luck with it! Hats off to you man. I'm Chinese but when I went to China last year for holiday, boy... They sure use some pretty difficult vocabulary, plus their accent is too strong for me to understand (if they speak too fast).
If you need any help/practice/clarification, feel free to PM me or something. I'm not really good at it but I did study it for a large majority of my life Talking about languages will be a breath of fresh air in this tech-oriented forum

I understand he is 'super' excited, so was I as many others were. And yes, I have been here a long time. That's part of the reason I understand this is the XDA Developers SGSII General forum, not a social forum. Please explain to me how this relates to the SGSII.
And no, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. Just hoping the member will think twice before starting such threads. I have started 3 threads since 2010 and all for good reason, not to just say hi and make friends.
