my iconia i think is bricked. When i'm doing this :
dd if=sdcard/ubuntu.img of=dev/block/mmcblk0p7
then i got the message no space left. then i cant boot OS and recovery. maby i can read the iconia partitions with PC. sorry for bad english.
You have to message scene he might be able to help don't keep trying to fix it until he tells you how.If that fails acer can and will fix it for you.

My A501 is Brike dint of hacking, he can not remember boot, the boot is damaged through the fault of a bad boot.img!
I tried to put an update.zip to SD but it does not work! message 'magic value mismatch', so I do not know anything.
No way to enter bootloader or recovery!
Is there a way to re-established in the boot and put the Kernel without good access to Recovery ?
It starts with the Acer logo but rest on this page with the message in red.
Is through the sav, or is there a quick fix ?

This will do exactly what you need it to with everything included in the download.
Pictures included in the tutorial. Even though it says to recover from ICS leak, the procedure is the exact same.

First of all I have a rooted A501 which was running alexandria ROM. Then I decided to try the ICS leak for A501. But before that, I downgraded to stock HC 3.0. There was 4 updates in the ICS leak that can be found somewhere in the development section. After trying flashing the first update the rest of them failed. Bootloader and recovery got messed up. Someone in the forums replied to my post and said that I should install the bootloader and recovery with nvflash. I followed all the instruction but after entering my sbk I always get stuck with "entering download mode"

Thanks very much Brooklyn2001 for that S2109a image. Would you possibly have any advice as to how to get it flashed over to the device? I have working CWM on the tablet and can boot into that, but the CWM does not recognize the external sdcard and I am not sure how to get the device reflashed without CWM being able to find the image you uploaded.
Can you offer any advice on how to do that? Tablet does not appear to be seen when issue ADB shell or Fastboot commands on my PC, so at the moment I am stuck with a device that boots to LENOVO logo and then stops.

Every time I try I get error.
