no the device dont support usb host
it can only use the usb for charging and being connected
to by a pc

I have a few questions regarding the extra functionality available through the USB adapter that I would be grateful if someone could answer. I really like the look of this device but am unsure about a few things.
1) Does the USB adapter (30pin to USB) allow charging at the same time?
2) Does anybody know if there is a docking station that will provide USB & HDMI out. It would be nice to use this device, attach a harddrive and output to a TV.

i suppose it might be possible if you were to use a multi usb port adapter with the usb adapter. I am not really sure if that will work though.
I talked with Samsung support today asking if the USB dongle could be attached to a regular USB cable for charging and they said yes.

i have ordered a Slimport adapter 2 days ago to connect my Nexus 4 to my tv.
Now i was wondering if it is possible to connect the adapter to a dockingstation with a micro usb slot.
Im not sure if this is working because of a different cable standard?
I couldn`t found any informations about that. Can somebody share some information if this could work?

Ok hi all,
think i am being a n00b here but i have my otg cable on order but in the meantime im trying to use a female to female usb a adapter with a usb pad plugged into one end and the standard nexus cable plugged in the other then running to he nexus, should this work or is this not possible?
