wait what is all this that you just told me hmmmmm im lost im using hd2 toolkit does it have that function i partioned the 150 mb required from the rom through the toolkit what else is there to partition ? im lost
First of all there are two versions. clk magldr. Make sure you're using the right one. Also make sure you have a recovery of at least 150 you can make bigger but not to exceed 200 I think. also do a factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache and them install rom. its not mandatory to have an external partition for this rom to work. You can also go to post #2 of the thread for more exact details

already tried doing all that step by step just how they asked me to install it but it installed like i said but once it loads and enters the main page there are errors after errors after errors its like the rom is corrupt or something. so tell me what else i can do?
Try to download the file again and reinstall or try to task 29 which wipes everything off your phone but not the sd card. Then install a fresh copy of magldr and repartition your phone again and try to install again. This is for installing the magldr version. I'm not experienced with clk. I just finished installing with no problem on magldr

Are you installing through magldr or clk?

HyperDroid 3.0 is only for cLK, it doesnt support MAGLDR (yet).
@OP : If you're trying to install it on MAGLDR I doubt it will work, even if it booted sure you will get force closes and whatnot.
Check the thread they just posted the magldr version. I'm running it right now that's why i'm asking to make sure you got the right version

Are you installing any data as soon a you flash the rom from recovery? Don't install anything other than the rom and see if it works
Sent from my HD2 using xda premium
Oh yes under the section of the phone partition make sure you select the cache size of 5. It sets both of then at the same time

[Q] ICS Issues (NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta5 by tytung)

Using MAGLDR v1.13 & CMR 3.1. I've tried to flash - NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta2 by tytung. I've wiped dalvik cache, wiped my data, & did a clean wipe of my SD card. I reboot into CWR in install & my phone keeps restarting. It never makes it to the boot animation screen. I've also had issues with a few other ROMs- But I'd rather focus on getting ICS on my HD2.
I'm using T-Moblie (US) HTC HD2
& I've followed the steps in the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354267
I'm still fairly new to XDA & just looking for some help to see if I've over looked something or need to go in a different direction.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
12-11-11 Flashed NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta5
1) Phone freeze/runs slow.
2) Occasionally restarts (often during sms)
3) Also G+ app wont update - Error Package file was not signed correctly
Any ideas?
Did you make sure to flash the correct system partition sizes? That was a problem I had one time, I forgot to do that step.
I've tried. I'm not sure how to check that I did it correctly. What steps/tools do I used to get that done?

Firstly, why are you using beta2 when latest is beta5? Not saying thats is the problem, just that don't see why you would want to use outdated version.
Second, Get HD2 Toolkit, it has easy to use tools to do everything you need to prep HD2 for flashing.
If you already have magldr just use the repartition tool after entering USB Flasher mode in magldr and then re-partition to needed sizes then flash rom using cwm.
I'm still downloading beta5 & before I try this again with the latest version I want to get it done correctly. Is the repartition tool within my already installed magldr or is it from the hd2 tool kit. I ask this because I'd need some help using the toolkit. I've tried to use the partitioning feature on there and that's where things would've went wrong.
Thanks

Got it flashed. Thanks for the input. It got me on track.
Beta 2 had those problems you mentioned. Freezing and random reboots.

Bad flash on recovery

Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I'm already asking for help
I have had my rooted Click/Tattoo for about 15 mouths now, yesterday I updated my recovery and flashed the wrong one by accident (I flashed a Wildfire one not a Click one).
The phone boots into Android 1.6 but won't let me flash a new recovery either on the phone terminal with Super User or on my PC with adb. Also I can't flash using Fast boot as my phone has decided to turn Security back on.
I have no Idea what to do, as I have a basicily useless phone at the moment, please help

I Have just tested that, it won't let me do that. However I have tried to flash an offical rom using fastboot on my PC and using Hboot on the phone itself. All I get is an "CID incorrect" error. Any Suggestions?
I guess you haven't a goldcard, right?

Basically you should copy a file whose name is clicimg.zip then fastboot THE phone -PWR+VOL-DOWN. The phone should then rolback TO factory. Look tor the file; id u can't fonda it icould provide

HD2 stuck on custom boot screen and won't flash anything in bootloader

My friend got an hd2 from a friend but realised it could not boot. He then brought it to me to see whether I could sort it out for him since I manage to change my own Roms.
When I tried to boot it, got stuck at a custom boot screen with 'NRG ENERGIZE' on it. I couldn't put it off so I took out the battery, put it back and booted it into bootloader which displayed 'SPL-2.08.0000'. I tried task29, flash a new radio, flash HSPL, through USB but were all stuck at 0%.
With the absence of HSPL, am wondering whether its a custom Android rom or custom windows rom.
Can someone please help with a step by step way to solve this problem?
Thanks a million.

you have to do a HSPL and set to 2.08 as long as SPL-2.08.0000 shows rom will not install,
first HSPL, then magldr113 (run ROMUpdateUtility.exe at tri color screen with USB showing) then flash a recovery

In the middle of boot. Did the energie screen just freeze? If so you could have thermal issue.... try trouble shooting it with a zip loc bag full of ice. Continuously lay your phone on it while flashing and installing... boot up a rom... if it goes well then great. Then boot the phone again with out laying it on ice pack. If it freeze. Then its thermal issues. I recommend buy a new board.

Google G1 boots to recovery and SD card slot is faulty. How can I get it working?

Hi guys, The phone boots into ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.7. I have tried to install Amon_RA recovery using ADB to install a new rom but I keep getting this error, '/sbin/sh adb: not found'. How can I get this phone working again? I am more accustomed to Windows Mobile so I don't know much about android :s
i usually get that error when the phone is off
Same thing happen to mine is there a fix for this???

Well I syppose aince the files are actually being written to internal mem if you use fasvoot to read the file from your computer and flash directly to its partition it should work
