Solved by myself. Turns out I had to find and download RSDLite v5.4.4 and it instantly found my Xoom.
Okay, so I've followed the steps to revert back to HRI66 and relock my bootloader (I've also tried to do it on the same version, but with the unlocked bootloader).
I am using RSDLite v5.0 and the latest drivers from Motorola for USB connectivity.
I'm trying to flash the .SBF file from here, but RSDLite keeps giving me errors.
I am on Windows 7 64-bit, but I have also tried to do it on my laptop that has Windows XP 32-bit.
This is what it says when I first start up RSDLite:

Any solutions?

I've never used RSDLite. Can you give a bit more detail about your solution?

Well, there's really not much else to how I fixed it.
I tried using RSDLite v5.0, and a few other versions below it, and none of them were correctly identifying my Xoom. Then I found v5.4.4 and it worked perfect.

During the firmware update process, I get this dialog (see below). I'm in the UK, on an unlocked SG-900F. Under About Device > Status > Device Status, it says Official.
Translation: If binaries are not registered, you can not proceed with the upgrade. Please check whether the binary file properties.

Fairly certain that my device is unlocked ... if anyone can explain how I can check, I will?
Download the rom you want and flash it via Odin.

Is that the only way? I'm on a Mac, and Odin never seems to work for me ...
Perhaps I just need to wait for the OTA

Still just having no luck getting JOdin to work on a mac... Java runtime messages, yada yada.
Is it possible to flash the firmware using the Heimdall front end, or command line? I've downloaded firmware G900FXXU1BOA3_G900FOXA1BOA4_BTU.zip
jOdin apparently doesnt work on some versions of OSX because you need a certain version of java. As for heimdall the github has a few pulls that people have reported work, so you can give that a shot, just check the issues section.

Put the Rom Odin and USB drivers on a USB stick and go to a internet cafe or use a friends windows computer, problem solved.
Hi All,
My Windows 7 (x86) computer is not installing the MOT driver correctly, as can be seen below there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the driver.

Originally I had a Samsung driver installed in this capacity, and I removed it by right clicking the device (in Device Manager) and selecting uninstall. Later I was able to coerce the computer into accepting the Motorola Driver for the 'MOT' device.
However the Motorola driver is still presenting issues which I would now like to resolve. I really need to run RSDLite so I have not choice but to fix this issue (i.e.: I cannot boot of Linux as an alternative).
Any help with resolving this driver issue will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo
Further to my original post I have now uninstalled the Motorola Drivers from the package which I used originally 'Motorola_PreRelease_Mobile_Drivers_5.9.1_32bit.msi', and installed the 'MotorolaDeviceManager_2.5.4.exe' software from Motorola.
Now when I connect my RAZR M in Fastboot Mode I see the following messages -
Shortly afterwards Windows fails to install a driver, as shown below -

Unrooted my Samsung S8 running 8.0 and tried to update using smartswitch and am just met with a blue screen saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software" i have tried doing that and (at the time of writing this) it has failed once, idk if i can boot to download mode and have tried but its either already in it or its just F'd up...
When i run Odin it says "Added" so thats a good sign right?
At the time of this im currently trying the recovery option so will see if this works...

Just flash the firmware you need through Odin. If you get any errors during flashing then post them here and I can help.
Hi!
I have Software- and Hardware experience, but not so Android-specific and none Huawei-specific.
A friend asked me to recover the data of a CAN-L11 stuck in a bootloop. (Stock Android 6 EMUI 4.1, OEM locked, build date Fri Nov 18 14:27:21 CST 2016)
My first thought was dumping the eMMC through SDIO - in hindsight I am so glad I didn't go this route as it would be stuck decrypting cryptfs.
I went the EDL route, dumped everything including the userdata-footer (so much easier&faster than direct SDIO).
Now I don't know how to move forward - have some questions in my head:
How to get the Masterkey from the TPM using EDL? Is that feasible? Is there an easier way? I know the PIN.
When is the TPM and userdata cleared? When I flash a signed ROM through EDL? When I flash a UPDATE.APP through fastboot? I found a stock UPDATE.APP on the internet with EMUI 4.1 for CAN-L11 - seems not to be exactly the same as currently flashed though.
Any other ideas?
If someone is interested - the knowledge I have gathered until now:
EDL-Pins for CAN-L11:

Regarding ISP/SDIO - mostly from a previous S4 mini recover:
the CMD-Pin seems to always have a Pull-Up
the Raspberry Pi has a unused SDIO-Port which worked flawlessly; my SD-Card-Reader attempt failed
