There is an ALIVE project for porting HTC SENSE on GalaxyS?
I saw that Kenia1234's sense port its dead, and i was wondering if there is other chance to get this on our SGS.

it's not dead, man. it's just making slow progress... i hope
apart from that, i don't know of any other sense ports.
There's a sense theme on miui.

It's sense for froyo ported from the htc wildfire so looks a bit odd but sence is sence
Edit: Also to fix its oddnes Maybe highering the dpi would do some good

Edit: Just found this my bad
If we ever should get sense on our phone working. We have to need to work together. I now it is somebody who have begin to work on it, but they need a kernel developer. To get the rom booting. Sense with gingerbread. I think if the best developers here on the galaxy s forums. Good with kernels and other stuff. Then we can maybe got htc sense on our phones. I know that is difficult to port roms, special htc sense on a samsung phone. But it sound desperately out, but I`m that. Know that it is other people who really wan`t htc sense to.

You know what i like htc sense but to have it on my fone thats just going to far just buy a htc fone if you want sense so much

That who is interesting with this rom, is that the rom having the same resolution as galaxy s.

No that is not what I meant. But then it is easier to port the rom, than if we should port a other sense 3.0 rom with a other resolution.

Protip. Don't put a "cool" emoticon in your post when it's clearly a post that had no thought put into it.
As they stated above me it means we won't have to do any scaling to get it working on our devices. That was a major hurdle the team porting 3.0 to the DHD faced.
This is good news...but definitely did not deserve its own post in the Development section of all things.
I'm sure the GalaxySense team is already well aware of this.

Have more than enough to do ATM with 2.1....Maybe a Christmas present...
devs should focus on bringing stable sense rom to galaxy s first, then, it's easier to work on next version of sense...anyway, this is a great news, no need to scale it unlike the dump from sensation 4g...

our measly x8 can not support sense 3.5 sorry but i am looking at either porting the aria because thatsd the closest i can find to our hardware or one ov the great roms i used to use on my old wildfire that is the wildpuzzle rom its great sexy nice and just very smooth rom but no sorry sense 3.5 is not ever going to be possible for our phones
Maan! It would be great, if you'll build fully functional Sense ROM. I've already have last Sense from racht, and it's great even the Wifi, 3G and others is not working.
I'll donate if it will be working, cuz I really love Sense. My next phone will be HTC for sure.
Can you get some closest info about your's ROM? 2.1 or 2.2? Maybe 2.3? Sense version?

i already have a HTC rom that is booting just need to get gsm FULLY working then i have to get data then vibrate then thats it it will be done ill upload the 1st test rom tonight

some1 plz take a look into the file system maybe its possilbe
I'm impressed they have it working on there and would quite like to see it for myself. The screen is a different size/resolution/pixel density so that may make porting a hell of a lot of work. I think if I remember rightly it has been attempted before but resizing of items and continual bootloops/force closes made the port too difficult to implement.

Magic already has a MIUI port for rather long time,I think it's easier to port from Magic
I have read somewhere that some team tryed to port in to Hero, but unfortunatly abandoned the project because it was to damn buggy and everything was not working.
