We need a cab for modded froyos that can't get this OTA.
http://a.yfrog.com/img69/4670/asy.pngI'm a modded froyo user and it showed up for me

Im running stock Froyo FRG83D and have not received the updated market.
What version does your market show as in your application settings?
Market 1.82
Sent from my Nexus One
This is the same as was seen in the Gingerbread video, hmm.. http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/1...i-gets-exposed-in-the-crispest-video-to-date/
I am 83 not 83d. I'm on a cyanogen nightly. Happened after I updated my flash.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Interesting, so it seems this is not related to the 2.12 update that came with FR83D, and somehow they are remotely activating it. I have 1.82 and have not seen the new tab yet.
Is it on all the apps in the market or just some?
All the apps

Mine's 1.82 as well but I'm not seeing any related tab. Will try installing Flash.
Edit : Confirmed, Flash reveals it.
might be related to a restart then I'll try that
Update flash
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Weird, I updated flash earlier on and haven't seen it yet, maybe its just installing any app?
Well just installed epicurious and still no extra tab, will try reinstalling flash.
Was themes under apps menu there before ?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
My market still doesn't have the similar tab and I see themes so yeah it probably was.
It might be slowly pushed out instead of being tied to the flash update. Or it might be both .
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I had neither Flash nor the similar tab... installed Flash, then I had both. Weird.
Installed Flash, cleared Market cache, rebooted and still nothing. So it must be a slow rollout.
Hey guys I'm a little new here. I recently rooted my Tab last week and ever since then I can no longer download free or purchase apps from the android marketplace. I can update apps without issues. The error that pops up says "Error processing purchase".
Any ideas? I'm clueless. I backed up immediately after I rooted too and did nothing out of the normal after.

Are you using wifi only version or 3G version?
Here a suggestion Try going to settings then applications then select all and then msrket then clear data. Now launch market again

I have the same problem. Cannot buy apps since I rooted. I have a rooted SGS2 that is able to buy stuff so what I do is either buy it in the phone or using the webpage on the tablet sending it to the phone. Then I can install it from the tablet. I just cant buy from the tablet.
I've tried that. I wonder if reloading the market tablet app will fix the issue. Anywhere I can find that? I've looked on here for about an hour and nothing came up. It doesn't make sense to me lol.

Used to have the same problem. Downloaded another version of the market apk and it works now. Sorry, I can't remember which one I'm using and I'm not near the tab now. Just google it.
Had the same problem. Had to delete my google account off the tab, delete market data, wipe cache/dalvik in cwm then reboot. Reenter google account.
I was trying to download Facedroid - Purchase it - and it said I already purchased it and won't install. I went to applications and uninstalled the updates for the market but no go. I did read through some of the posts on similar topics here but didn't seem applicable. Any ideas??

Which ROM are you on? maybe you can clear caches and give it another shot ......
Just a thought... are you using go launcher? They recently fixed a problem where icons were not showing up for installed apps. My thinking here is its already installed but you just can't see it.
If this its the case, install the update for go launcher. goto settings and manage apps and uninstall the program you're wanting. then go back to the market and get it again and it wont hide from you anymore.
I'm probably a mile off base, so onto the next suggestion if I am.
If you can read this it was sent using my GT-P7510.
I'm running stock OS. No changes. I am running ADW though. I went and cleared cache and removed updates for the Market. Odd....it says I purchased it even on the internet linked site so that leads me to believe it's my profile with Google.
Funny enough...I don't mind trying apps, but if I want it, I'll buy it. I wanted this app and was trying to pay for it and Puff the Magic Dragon showed up!! No app for you, come back...one year!
Try closing ADW and see if it shows up in the stock app drawer.
Did you remove your credit/debit card off your google wallet/checkout account? I did that once and had the same problem. Once i added and verified my mastercard, i was able to download again.
same problem here, (even) the (web) market thinks I've already bought the app and I can't buy it anymore
Im havimg the same problem. I cant purchase swiftkey, says on the apps page i purchased it, but when i click install it says i didnt purchase the app.
Many people are posting they have the same problem, but nobody is saying if they have tried the suggested fixes or not. ???

That is if everybody is using ADW...
I'm not, and can't buy apps either... Running Calkulin's latest.

Running gt14, stock launcher. Tried everything but reflashing with full wipe
I had this a while ago. Think I logged onto web market and said install via there and that sorted it.

Thanks for the new suggestion. Would hate to see others resort to a full wipe and even if not work.

The Opposite
I get the opposite, Market tells me I purchased an app correctly then tells me when I ask to install it that I did not purchase it, lol
What a joke Market is
Got a reply from the android market people they said it's a known problem for some apps and are working on it

Thanks for a definitive answer. Not a fix for now but at least one hope.

I'm actually having the same issue, but it's with downloading ADWLauncher EX itself. The market website thinks I've purchased it, but I haven't. I sideloaded ADW first, to see how well it works. Deleted it, tried to purchase it, not working. Cleared cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, everything. It has to be an issue with the market itself. So, yeah. Just a small confirmation.
So I decided to root and unlock my 4.1.1 N7 today. Everything went according to plan. When I set myself to return my tablet to its former app glory, I found myself with the following message when opening Play Store:
Error retrieving information from server. (DF-DFERH-01)
Market was working before root. Funny thing is, despite being unable to open the play store, It is still able to auto update :/
Any thoughts? I already tried clearing/deleting market cache, no good...
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Just clear your app store data, ect. Then relaunch it. That is what I had to do.
I had the same error in my GNex today.....It has nothing to do with clearing up the data in the Apps settings.....
Clearing my app store data does nothing for me...
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Have the same issue on My Nexus 7. Only difference being I've not used a bootloader or anything like that, it's just literally out the box. App store has never worked at all today, although i can install directly and still get updates...but not install those updates.
tried clearing cache and data then rebooting. removing email account and also removing google wallet settings.
No joy so far on any attempts I've made.
When I had this problem on my old GTablet, I had to force close Google Services Framework, clear data, then reboot to get it back. This is in addition to clearing cache and data of the Market.

All the people in this thread saying they having this problem appear to be in unsupported countries . Could that be a factor? Vanhager what country are you in?

I'm also from Puerto Rico but the problem seems to be with providers with local IP Address like Claro in the case of mobile phones or local internet providers like liberty, claro etc.. but not on Carriers with US IP addresses like tmobile or At&t tha's why I can access if I use my phone but not using my wifi at home.
Hope this helps, and if anyone finds an answer please let us know because i haven't seen any report on google about this issue.

I forgot to tell that if you need an app from the market you can access via web and make the download to your device that way. That's what I've been doing until this gets fixed. It works for updates too. Hope this helps.
Funny thing going on. Using wifi, my Xperia Play illicits the same error code as my Nexus 7. Yet my MIUI SGS II works great with wifi... I'm stumped.

For some reason the new Facebook app is giving me a Network Error message, even though the connection is fine. I have a S3, but it doesn't seem to be affected.

I have had the same thing happen to me on my N4 and N7!! However, when I was getting the network error, I was using a verizon mifi hotspot. I tried uninstalling FB then re installed it, but it kept happening. However, when I took it home and was on tmobile's hspa+ network, I didn't really have any issue.
Here is your link:

I get it on my phone and my Nexus, I think it is more of a problem with the app
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
i have the same problem. the new facebook app (version 2.0) always says network error. galaxy note, ICS4
In the gs2 forums, we decided it was caused by ad blockers. Is everyone here using one? It seems like the problem is fixed for me though.

Yeah I use adaway maybe that is it, I would rather go with out the face book app then go without a adaway
Sign up to Dropbox using my signature and we both get an extra 500megs free http://db.tt/YZjXmjTT

Just go to settings in AdWay > Your List > and uncheck graph.facebook.com
What worked for me was to log out of Facebook book, reboot, log in to Facebook. I haven't had a problem since with it.

Me too.
I had the same problem on my Defy & my S3. So I downloaded a app called FriendCaster. Works very well. I saw some other 3rd party apps too. Might help.
