Hello guys,
I have bought a Motorola Xoom from US me being from Europe,it's a 3G version that I know, but it's locked on Verizon, my question is if there is any way I can make it work on Europe networks cause I kept looking for a solution for days now and nothing.
So can I unlock it to make it work on my country's network?

Bell Canada HSPA Network: Unlocked AT&T phones appear as roaming all the time

Everyone,
A few of us have been having a conversation over in the Raphael forum about an issue with the new Bell Canada UTMS/HSPA network. Due to Bell not carrying any HTC /HSPA capable phones, many of us have elected to purchase AT&T phones like the Topaz/Pure or Rhodium/Tilt 2 and get them unlocked. We have all been able to setup network connections etc, but the phones register as "roaming" all the time. I'm assuming that this is because Bell has some master list of IMEI codes for their own phones, and that any time a "foreign" phone registers on the network Bell sends it a "roaming" status. Can anyone confirm how this functionality works? We are all using Bell sim cards, and are not being billed for any roaming fees, so we're really not sure why this is happening. This also seems to happen with unlocked Android phones from Rogers when they run on the Bell network, but not with the Nexus One for some reason. Any help would be appreciated.

My phone unlocked Koodo phone is always roaming with my Fido SIM card.
Phone calls and Data work okay, but Radios are always roaming.
Anybody figure this out?
Nope, after more than a year, I gave up and moved onto a new phone.

[Q] Is my phone sim unlocked?

Hello everyone. I recently moved overseas and I'm new to the GSM market. I purchased a HTC Magic from a friend who says that it's SIM Unlocked. I've been using it in Italy (where I currently am now) with no problems, but soon I will be moving to Turkey. I would really like to know if there is some way to tell if the phone is unlocked before I go to Turkey to make sure I don't have any downtime. If I go to Wireless & Networks/Mobile Networks/Network operators, I can see other local networks, but can't select them because I'm assuming the SIM I have will only work with one provider.
I've done some searching, but didn't see any answers for the Magic specifically.
Anyways, is there anyway to tell if this phone is unlocked?
Thanks in advance.
Put in a sim from a different provider (borrow from a friend?) And if it works then it's unlocked

Verizon S8 update outside US

Hey guys!
I have a verizon branded galaxy S8, but I'm currently abroad in Europe. I can't update my phone since it won't allow me to connect to the Verizon servers. I have a vzw sim laying around, but I don't think it's been registered. Would ot work just putting that one in and connect via wifi? Or is it possible to activate that sim from here?
Cheers guys
