2. Kernel -FXP030 Blagus
3. CPU Governor - On demand
4. MicroSD - 8GB
(ROM) GingerXperia V9
Here is my score:
ROM: GingerXperia V9 - stock kernel
CPU: 600 MHz (ondemand governor)(without uv, oc !)
SD: Class2 32Gb
Score: 1449
btw, if I remember right ... on a stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 ROM was ... 1477 ... with undervolt ... without OC ...
Our phone have 600 Mhz btw you can use OverClock module. If you use KuyaDroid, OC module built in the ROM. If you want to use your own module, switch off the OC in the CyanogenMod settings and install an external module. After reboot you have to set your frequency with SetCPU.
840 Mhz is not stable for me. I use my phone on 787 Mhz with stock OC module in KuyaDroid.

He might have used a different app to edit. ;-) note that it says "Total scores" with an "s" while all of ours read with no "s".
I'm using FXP OC Kernel @768Mhz and GX V8, I can't believe that 40Mhz will double my memory, integer and float scores like his on Stock ROM @800Mhz.
Also, look at the graphics score, ours are almost double of what he gets. what does that tell us... hmmm.
Sent from my TI99 4A
it has no sense if you got a very impressionant result... if you can´t do anything else aftewr that.
Remember last time when Superuser.Angga made up all that mess with fake kernel and ROM? I think XtremePeople = Superuser.Angga.
He just wants to tell us this: "HEY, everybody use my Agressive Tweaks, they are the best and will give you doubled score!" It's not cool to make fake images!!!!
look at the date LOL
GingerDX Without LinuxDX And Agressive Tweaks + Cpu:800Mhz + Smartass configure for perfomance was tested 16-6-2011
GingerDX is not yet released at that time! 1st release is 27-7-2011 !
July 27 v001. Initial release.
Nightly CM7 Hero 135+.
Optimized PreferenceScreen as well as ListView.
Greatly improved smoothness. It took me almost 1 week of hard working to optimize 2d performance to the level of CM6. Enjoy the smoothness of CM6

What's Your Current Setup?
So I guess the title explains it all!
How much have you custimized your ROM?
What I mean by this is:
MoDs,
Themes,
Launchers,
Overclock
Speed
Benchmark scores
etc....
I know there's already a few threads like this, but they only have one if not none of the above categories. So I've made this one! xD
I'm just really curious to see how much you guys have customised your X8 Experience.
Example Reply:
Running GingerDX v021
x8gesture and x8oc installed
Have nAa kernel installed
ICS Theme by A-Chep
Nexus Bootanimation
1998 Benchmark score....
^^^^Those are just examples. They're not my scores
Looking forward to your replies!

2.Linpack
The LINPACK Benchmarks are a measure of a system’s floating point computing power. they measure how fast a computer
solves a dense N by N system of linear equations Ax = b, which is a common task in engineering. The solution is obtained by
Gaussian elimination with partial pivoting, with 2/3*N3 + 2*N2 floating point operations. The result is reported in
Millions of FLoating-point Operations Per Second (MFLOP/s, sometimes simply called FLOPS).
This test is more a reflection of the state of the Android Dalvik Virtual Machine than of the floating point performance of
the underlying processor.
This is a simple benchmark test to show performance relative to other phones for a standard calculation

This kernel is based on Semaphore Kernel by stratosk with a few changes I felt to be missing in semaphore.
This kernel combines the speed and stability of semaphore along with few additions for the best combination.
It is compatible with all JB 4.3 ROMs based on official CM10.2 layout.
Kernel versions 2.9.0 and lower are compatible with JB 4.2.x.
Differences with Semaphore
Entropy tweaks
Patched for 720p usage
Kernel Samepage Merging (KSM) enabled
ZRAM enabled as module (usable via init.d script, attached below)
SWAP enabled
FRANDOM module included
Some Kernel Debug related stuff disabled
Wheatley Governor added (select via Setting->Performance-> CPU)
Intellidemand Governor added (select via Setting->Performance-> CPU)
Lulzactive Governor added (select via Setting->Performance-> CPU)
Lazy Governor added (select via Setting->Performance-> CPU)
Lagfree Governor added (select via Setting->Performance-> CPU)
Load_freq(4*HZ+61) to avoid Loadavg Moire
A bit more RAM ( 1MB more )
Read Ahead increased to 1024kB max
Using Neon instead of SoftVFP
Ondemand , Conservative , smartassv2 , lulzactive , lazy and interactive tweaked
ROW , SIO , SIOplus, Deadline , BFQ and CFQ Scheduler tweaked
Normal OC Steps ( upto 1400MHz )
XZ Compression for Kernel and initramfs
Optimized AES and SHA1 routines
CPU Unaligned Access
TUN enabled by default
Block and ROW improvements
BFQ IO Scheduler
FIFO IO Scheduler
ZEN IO Scheduler

130% is the limit set in the kernel. I personally cant go above 114% and be stable , but I know a guy in i9000 forum whose phone is stable at 128% (with a few voltage changes).
I have benchmarked my i9000 with 130% OC(faced over 10 reboots before a successful benchmark) but it results in 6k + scores in antutu.
Without OC , it is about 4.4k , and with 114% , it varies from 4.9 to 5.3k with a peak score of 5433
Thank you very much for sharing this kernel! I have tried it and it shows good potential but I see a problem on my phone: I'm getting about 1sec black screen every time I dial a number, check e-mail, open maps etc... looks like on every app with screen refresh. Currently running unmodified SlimBean 4.2.1 stable. After flashing your kernel I did cache/dalvik clear + semaphore manager settings default. The only custom setting I have is 0.5X animations/transitions in developer options.

Please dont flash the 1.7 version , I messed something up. It wont boot up , and you will have to flash back to GB using Odin then.
I am making a fixed version now. Please wait for it.
Re: [JB 4.2][Kernel] CyanCore-cappy v1.7
I was able to flash semaphore kernel in Odin fixed it.

insmod zram.ko
insmod: init_module 'zram.ko' failed (No such file or directory)

It is clearly written that ZRAM is enabled from Settings->Performance->Memory.
For SWAP to work , you need to partition your SD card and run swapon with that memory block .
I removed the 1.7 version cause WiFi wasnt working for some reason.
In settings i have zram enabled, but dont see it in /dev/block/zram0.
I confirm that ZRAM seems doesn't work neither if enabled in Settings->Performance->Memory, nor with the script below:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
echo $((70 * 1024 * 1024)) > /sys/block/zram0/disksize
mkswap /dev/block/zram0
swapon /dev/block/zram0
Command "free" in a terminal shows zeros.
But if me manualy insmod lzo_compress.ko lzo_decompress.ko e.g dependencies for zram.ko, then insmod zram.ko will load and /dev/block/zram0 will appear. so we need init.d script to handle this... again... I just wanted to use GUI for enabling zram...
Edit:
As temporary solution i am using this init.d script, and calling it 91zram.
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
insmod /system/lib/modules/lzo_compress.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/lzo_decompress.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/zram.ko
echo $((70 * 1024 * 1024)) > /sys/block/zram0/disksize
mkswap /dev/block/zram0
swapon /dev/block/zram0

The main issue an i9000 dev faces is that he / she can't test their works before releasing.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Hi ts1506, thank you for the update and for your hard work! Can't wait for a normal OC ( upto 1400MHz ), that would be very cool.
I found the cause of ZRAM not working when enabled using the settings menu.
I will try to put out a new version soon with ZRAM fixed.
The sources are already fixed, so you can try to compile it yourself too.
Hello guys,
Today we have numerous roms and mod's for our Xperia Play, however, with so many options, is a little bit difficult to discover out which set is best for our smartphone. To make more easy the search for the best rom, mod or setting, I propose for all to share yours benchmark results(Antutu), along with those roms, kernel, mod's, or some special configuration used in Xperia Play.
Additionally, we can discover the full potential of this device, and know, what is the most fastest Xperia Play around the world.
The top results, i will put in the main post. Everything depends of the interest and participation of the community.

Just having a bit of extra free RAM doesn't explain a RAM score of 1663.
What other tweaks did you do to get that score?
A screen shot of the main test screen would be best, like everyone else has provided.

I was Lucky in benchmark. I flashed the LuPuSv7 480p , Atomic-GB, wedgessZram enabler and my custom adreno booster. In the first boot, I cleaned the ram manually in settings and runned the benchmark and get this score. I don't have any other tweaks.

Im very skeptical to believe this, call me whatever but, double the ram score compared to every other benchmark? Something stinks..

You should use LuPuS GB-Stock v7 480p kernel. Install a ram cleaner from google play (I recommend FMR Memory Cleaner) and clean ram. After cleaning ram, go Settings=>Applications=>Running Services and manually clean all tasks. :good: You got 320mb free ram! :good:
