[Request] Samsung Keyboard And Android Keyboard

Hello, I'm running the syndicate rom 1.1.1 and it doesn't come with any other keyboards. I was wondering if anyone had the apks so that I may install them on my phone. Thank you..

Use root explorer or ES file explorer and drop them in /system/app

Sorry, you asked for the apk's. If you have trouble with ES or Root Explorer like Zanderman said, just flash this zip in CWM.

Any chance you can re-link the Android keyboard? Mediafire is saying it can't process that file request. The others work find.

I wont be at my PC until this evening so I can't repost the Android keyboard link until then, but the zip file above will flash both keyboards. You can delete the Samsung keyboard from inside the zip before flashing it, or from your system/app directory afterwards if you don't want it. Or you can extract whichever keyboard from the zip and push it to system/app.

Download apk, open a file manager such as astro file manager and search for the apk you downloaded. Then open and install....

Anyone else have an issue loading 'My Apps' after updating to this? I can search just fine, but I'm unable to get to my installed apps. I got a notification that 2 updates were ready, and when I went there...I just get a white screen with nada.
EDIT: Nevermind. I cleared data from the app and now is working fine.

Just a Fyi, there hasn't been a over the air update for the market yet.

had to use es file explorer with superuser access and then dump the apk into system\app folder. works great.

i was getting "application not installed" when trying to install the apk...so i copied/paste it thru es file explorer and it said copied successfully, but the old market still shows up...do i have to delete the old market from system/app?

Yes, delete old vending apk and paste this one. Also clear cache in applications.

All I did was made sure the old market wasn't running. Then I install like any regular apk. That seem to work.

This is to go from the new to the old, but the method should work fine going from old to new.
I went back to the old market because they new one lagged and frustrated me to no end.
The only real feature they added besides media rentals is that you no longer have to specify why you want to uninstall an app.

I keep getting forced closed when I try to download anyting on SFR1.2, even cleared data multiple times .. now having issues getting any market version working ?

Where can I get Android market for CM7?
When I installed update it just dissapeared.
I found few versions of market but they aren't working.
Plz help.

Install the faster gbapps zip file which is on the CM7 thread and reboot. I think just rebooting will make the market reappear aswell.

[ICS]Arc S ICS system dump

But the apps will not work
U can't even install the launcher even now because the system/app its having a .apk & .odex for every file
For Ex."Home.apk,Home.odex"
And i have no idea how to make this as apk from the 2 files(.apk,.odex)
Oh and u will download 114 mb file and u will get 215 mb after u extract it

SEMCMusic, Media Widget and Photo Widget can be installed on Cobrato MIUI but only Media Widget can be used. Others will not appear on homescreen.

ARC ROM
I have an ARC ICS Rom working on our beloved X10. WiFi is still an issue, no camera (obviously), some kernel issues, porting of ARC apk's etc. Other than that I am hoping to release it soon. A lot of thanks goes to spaarc for his help with this port.

[Q] Replacing stock keyboard with Xperia one.

Hey!
I can't stand the keyboard with the stock ROM so would like to replace it with the Xperia one from my Xperia P (ICS) which I think is almost perfect.
So I copied the (textinput-tng) apk from my phone over to the N7 and installed it, and all looks well; can configure the keyboard, etc.
Problem is, every time the keyboard tries to start up, it FC's
Does anyone know of any hack that'll get the keyboard working, or is it some unreconcilable differences between ICS and JB (or maybe some Sony propriety code)?

n.b. N7 is unlocked, rooted, on stock ROM with Clemsyn's elite kernel.

Installed the app via the apk so didn't think I'd have to change the permissions, but when I checked the file in data/app, the permissions were the same as the other files -wr-r--r--
