cost 20$ using the code 'android50' for 50% off...
worked great for me.
try a site called mobifreedom.net
cost £5 and unlock code in 5 mins.
I have done it for $2.89 on ebay. here is item:190583241256

If its an ATT atrix, I got mine for free by just asking for it via online support chat.

Got mine off ebay off someone with "bear" in his business name.cost me £8 and came within an hour and worked of course lol
I used this guy back in february (see below). But it appears he doesnt offer unlock codes anymore. still you could keep an eye out if he does again if you dont find anyone else
He's on ebay. Member ID: bltmustafa. Code came within 3 hours of purchase. Of course, there are many excellent ebay seller who currently offer hero unlocks
I was wondering if someone can tell me the best web site where i can buy unlock code for my htc aria? Thanks in advance.
HTCimeiUnlock.com. For $25 I got the code within an hour. I used a T-Mobile sim, which first required entering a sim pin number, which is 1210 for the T-Mobile sim.

Thanks for reply man, will try that today
on eBay there are lot's of unlocking options for USD$10 or less.
I also used HTCimeiUnlock.com
I paid 25 bucks for a deep search to be sure they can get it at first try, got my code 10 minutes later.
I would like to know if i flash over my phone to use Android will I then be able to use it on another Network?
on a different network no. rooting your phone does not sim unlock your device. if you call your provider they normally dont have any problem giving you an unlock code for your device. im on the tmobile network and i wanted to unlock my old phone to sell on ebay (unlock can fetch more $) so i called tmobile, they gave me an unlock code (free) i put a at&t sim in my phone to complete the process and it was done. really very simply.
i purchased the phone from CL and i was on a month to month plan with T Mobile for about a year and I did not renew this month. Do I have any options?

You can pay $30 on eBay and get unlock code for it - that will get it unlocked and then you can use it on any other network.
BTW - if you get the unlocking code while you have Android on your phone you can still unlock it with your code you get.
yea i've seen unlock codes on ebay as low as $10, it all depends on your phone.
i would still try t-mobile anyway and say you use to be a customer and you wanted to unlock your old phone so you can sell and use it on a different network. the most they can do is say no so there wouldn't be any harm done in still calling. i think that they would still do it. if you reach someone and they say no, hang up and try 1 last time. i always get conflicting stories everytime i call t-mobile anyway so you might just luck out.
(they unlocked an old phone i wasn't using with t-mobile, giving i still was under contract but they still unlocked a phone that wasn't on my contract)
I called T Mobile and told them I am going overseas and I need it unlocked the rep told me he would submit the request and I will get an email within 5 -7 days with instructions on how to unlock the phone. That is a long wait I did not know it took 7 days to do anything anymore. Oh well .
Thank you all for helping I appreciate it.
if you need to unlock a phone to go overseas i think its a different process so maybe thats why its so long because it only took me 10 mins to get the code from them.
T-Mobile uk charge £25 and theres a 28 day wait for them to snailmail the code to you.
Unlocking.com was £10 and 10 minutes.

From T Mobile
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the unlock code at this time. After review of the account we have determined that the device is not in use with the corresponding mobile number. T-Mobile policies and procedures state that the device must be in use on the mobile number requesting the unlock code. If this is a new device please allow 3-4 business days prior to submitting a new request to allow your usage to update in our system.
Looks like I will have to pay...
That really doesn't make much sence because they unlocked a phone I no longer was using. I think I was using my hd2 for 6 months when they gave me the unlock code for my mytouch 3g slide. Well it was worth a shot...kinda goes back to me saying I always hear conflicting things from t-mobile.

I contacted T Mobile on 3 other occasions and recieved the same answer 1 manager told me to contact HTC Directly as that is how they get the unlock codes but that did not work.
However I found a company that provides you with the code. It took him 7 minutes and only cost $7.00. He had a perfect rating on ebay well 99.9% and he provided pre purchase QnA via direct email.

Again thank you all and I hope this helps anyone else who might have similar issues.

Go on eBay and search for your phone model + unlock code. This will set you back up to $30 but you will get your code within 24 hours and voilà! You now can use your T-Mobile phone on at&t network.

The above can be done & does work just fine but i would call t-mobile before you did that. You can ask then to give you the unlock code for your phone so you can use on a different network & they'll give it to you free of charge.
I was able to get an unlock code for my old phone & it only took about 5 mins. I've heard someone say that they had problems doing this because the phone they wanted to unlock didn't have service with t-mobile any longer but i was able to have a phone unlocked that I hadn't used in a long time. Best bet is to try this 1st then go to ebay if they cant/won't do it. I have seen unlock codes as cheap as $10 for the hd2 but up to $25-$30.

Just keep in mind you wont have 3g... you will be stuck at EDGE speeds, as their 3G bands are not compatible... so things like browsing or syncing contacts, etc, etc, etc will be awfully sllllooooooowwwwww....
I got a rogers note 3. Need a quick reputable website to unlock my phone. Any advice? Previous experiences?
Thanks!

UnlockUnit, got my SM-900T unlocked in under 5 hours for $25. Get their app from the Play Store.
i would also like to know. i had to buy a rogers model (the only place selling them outright without a contract) and i am on virgin. i tried cellunlocker.net which is supposedly the biggest and best unlocker around and they cant find me a code.. been waiting almost 24 hours and they keep just telling me to hold on they want to try something else.

If Rogers sold it to you outright they should be obligated to give you the unlock code. Just ask them?

dont you think i already asked? i not only asked, but they cant even do it in store. i need to call them to do it. and you need a rogers account as well so they have somewhere to take the money from. thats what they told me.
ps. just got another email from cellunlocker.net stating they are still working on it and to please be patient
pps. and another one. money was refunded. they cant unlock it.

hmm. only 15 dollars doing it from their website. lets see if they get a code for me.
edit: they finally got back to me:
"I'm sorry but we could not find an unlock code for your phone in the Rogers database. There is a second option: to search for the code with Samsung supplier. This second option costs $ 29.9 and it takes about 20 minutes."
edit 2:
ok. works now. a little more than i wanted to pay but at least its less than the 50 that rogers wanted.
edit 3:
sigh.. unlocking wipes the phone and you need to redo EVERYTHING.
