I heard it really slow on T-Mobile service, only get 2g data speed only. Any one know if this is correct? If yes , is there a fix like change different modem or something??? Thank you

No there is no way to change it.
It will work with at&t on 3g/hspa+

No ... only on the Galaxy Note

It will work on T-Mobile 2G and/or 3G if you live in an area where T-Mobile has the 1900Mhz band, on AT&T though it will get 4G.

I love my galaxy nexus. So much in fact i bought an s3 and after a couple of months went back to my nexus.
Is it worth the upgrade/leaving verizon?

Maybe. Probably. I dunno.

In my opinion, yes! The Nexus 4 has much better top of the line specs. The specs of the Galaxy Nexus are starting to get outdated. The best part of the N4 is the price.

I would look into the coverage on other carriers first. I love the Nexus 4 but T-Mobile is just awful in my area.

I would. You would save a lot of money plus the nexus 4 is an awesome phone.

I've been happy since I made the switch. The nice thing is that with the specs of the nexus 4 it will still be relevant a year from now IMHO. It's not like buying a phone only to have something come out a week later that's better.
Plus I get great coverage on T-mo... better than Sprint and Verizon. Of course that depends on your area. And if you're in an area that has a cell carrier that uses LTE band 4 you can always open that up on the phone. However, the HSPA+ has produced great speeds in my area, greater than 10mb down on average.
Highly recommended phone, so much that I ordered one for my wife a few days ago.

So does net 10 use sprints towers?
It depends on the phone. Some use Verizon, some use AT&T, some use Sprint, and some use T-Mobile.

If you got on T-Mobile, they've got decent 3g speeds (20-25Mb/s down in some areas with the right phone). But IDK if they would be throttled. This is called "4G" or HSPA.
I notice that my phone can support 3g with 4g lte or 3g with just 4g. I have 4g in my town but not 4g lte so i just want to enable 4g not 4glte. If any idea just show your skills. I believe by changing modem but not sure since i dont know any modem to try.

That's 4g wimax, you have to have a wimax compatible phone like HTC evo

I mean... my phone was using 4g not 4g lte after i unlock it. Sorry for posting in development i meant to post it in the general...

4G is LTE on this device. The old 4G sprint had, was Wimax. So if you're using 4G on this device it's just LTE, plain and simple.

There's a way to do it (LTE Only), but it requires your MSL and going into the programming mode, I'd advise against it. Or you can flash a KK ROM.
To get 4G wimax you need a wimax phone, I think the Samsung S2 was that last one.
questions belong in the Q/A thread..not development ....
Well i had 4g with full signal with out having a 4g lte towers closed by and my speed was faster then 3g... So It only happen when I changed my ro._____operator to open my speed increases to 4g usually when im out of town and my phone its on 4g lte it will said 4 lte well explain that then cause i think im missing something I guest.
