Is it possible to use a Xbox 360 controller (Wireless or wired) on the Advent Vega 2.2? I heard it can be used on VegaComb.
You can use a wired 360 controller with corvus 2.2. I dont think it has yet been added to the vegacomb kernel.
Peace.

Is there no way you can use a wired controller on the stock ROM?
Nope, the stock rom hasn't gone USB host.
Infact honey comb 3.1 added USB host support so all devices before that would need a custom rom to get USB host.
*correct me if I'm wrong folks*

Spot on, its all down to what the kernel supports. It is possible to flash just a kernel, but really there is no point. Pick a custom rom and flash it!
Here is a link for just a custom kernel, i think it supports the 360 pad: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061619
Adding to this question, I am wondering if it is possible to get the wireless gaming receiver for the PC working on the Advent Vega:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000MGVAAQ
I have read that the Corvus Rom currently works with it, does anyone know if any of the Honeycomb Roms work with it?
Also on the PC this adapter can support up to 4 controllers, does this also work on the Tablet? Would be an excellent way of palying a multiplayer game (even if only two work)
especially set up with the Advent Dock
stock rom does have usb host, thats why flash drives/ usb hard drives, keyboards and mice work.

As topic, the blue light on the docking station extinguished and remote controller no more functioning after I flash FLEXREAPER-RF1_rv3-CUSTOM-ICS ROM (HC bootloader). Therefore, I have to flash back to original Taboonay 3.0.1 ROM for my wife using this Tab for her music/video player. Is there anyway I can keep the docking station remote control function in FLEXREAPER's ROM? For I enjoy the new features in this ROM. And I should say, this ROM met almost all my need except the remote control. Thanks to civato to share FLEXREAPER ROM. If upgrade to ICS bootloader is needed, then I will do it. I'm not chicken.

HDMI/TV out is currently not supported by any AOSP derivative on any Exynos4 handset or tablet from Samsung.
Thanks for explaining this clearly. I will stick to Stock for the time being
Hi all, I installed the ROM CUSTOM of Zulu99, it works great, all apps is compatible , but the gamepad and remote controle, It does not work.

I and others had problems running Mincraft PE. It works on tha full android version, but not on Nvidias 2.1. As for other games not working, its a question of controller support, or lack of it. Lara Croft GO only reaches the screen where you can choose wether to log in to Google Play. Mouse doesnt work for choosing either.
I tried Full Android 2.1, but no wireless controller support made me go back to stock.
This post was written on my shield in Tapatalk, so at least thats working...

I'm looking to install my Nexus 7 in my car. However, I can't seem to find a recent kernel or ROM with simultaneous OTG and charging support. I have only found Timur's USB rom (but no download links). What kernel or ROM does support this, preferably MM or N?
Hey guys, is anyone here tried connecting a game controller via otg? Mine doesn't seem to work even though it's detecting the flash drive whenever I connect it via otg. So yeah I'm having problems controllers and I've tried multiple ones.
And also can you guys help me regarding custom ROM? I'm looking for good battery and gaming optimization and I don't know what to choose with all the available roms.
Thank you
did you find any solution for the controller issue ?
