I went to try it....
I downloaded everything, shut down Vista to boot up Server3k so I could Mutty and one of my hard drives died. I got the dreaded "This drive has not been formatted - would you like to format it now" error.
A brand new 500G drive it was too!! GGrrr!!
XP Pro gave me the same thing.... and now Vista as well....
I'm too busy at work to sort it right now but once I get the drive back online then I'll give this verson of WM6 a blast, see what happens and report back.

because locale. They are Thai language in Thailand Locale

English Locale select English United State.

I don't think it is 100% ready. This is (more or less) the same ROM as referred to in the 'wm6.0 for feeler?' thread, and it is far from stable. I tried to install the 'integrate ENlang+T9+Celetask+Camera+Oxios Memory+Full Homescreen' CAB (the NEW version) and - bingo - my SDA couldn't find a network to register on, Calendar and Contacts do not work. Bottom-line, my SDA cannot be used this way.
Looking forward for a stable WM6 ROM for the Feeler.

can anyone please post a complete guide to do this. I dont want to ruin my feeler.

same observation here...
after using it yesterday and installing the "integrate ENlang+T9+Celetask+Camera+Oxios Memory+Full Homescreen" (old version), noticed that the camera app used is from the cooked wm5 (i like much the camera app of the orig chinese rom. much clearer. much faster. and has a 2x zoom)...
album.exe app is not running when clicked... so you need to use file explorer/smart explorer to open the images first...
if the backlight lits off when with some opened program/app, the only button you can use is the end key which when pressed turns your device to homescreen mode... and needed to press the back key to go back to that opened program/app...
i ended up reverting again to the chinese rom last night as i felt that it's a "more" stable...
just my 2-cents...

The Extrom is installed by putting the folder to the sd card. The installation starts automatically after a soft- or hard reset. The cfg.txt can be editted to personal use.

In correspondance with cosmicgate, i decided to post our guide on how to upgrade here, to avoid question further questions about that:
THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SUITABLE FOR WINDOWS XP COMPUTERS ONLY!!!
For people running WM5/6x but with 43MB of storage:
You have to downgrade to WM2003 and here's how to do that:
1. Download this Windows Mobile 2003 SE rom:
Download from Rapidshare
Download from Uploaded.to
and extract it to a folder of your choice.
2. Remove both the the SIM card and the sd card
3. Put the device into Bootloader Mode, pressing power+record and reset
4. your device display shows Serial v2.0x
5. on the pc (running Windows XP!) open the Task manager, go to the 2nd tab (Processes) and kill "wcescomm.exe" and "WCSEMgr.exe"
6. Now let's start the actual Upgrade:
7. Navigate to the Upgrade folder
8. Start Maupgradeut_noid
9. If in the 2nd window the rom version is not shown, something went wrong, start over!
10. Then start the upgrade and you should see a progress bar, also look at the device's display, it should also show the progress.
11. After it finishes perform a "WM2003 hard reset" by pressing power and reset
12. wait for the extrom to finish
13. now you can re-insert your sim and sd card (if you are planning to go on from here, you can also leave them out).
14. proceed with "For devices running wm2003"
For devices running wm2003:
1. Copy repart_doc.exe and the unlocker cab to the device and install the unlocker. In the start menu you will find a folder named "Extrom Tool".
2. Click "unhide" (if you are getting an error message, proceed with 2.a, else with 3.)
2.a the unlocker installs into the standard folder for program files, which depends on the rom language can be "\programme" or "\programmes" etc.
2.b the link in the start menu always points to "\program files"
2.c the easiest way, to solve that, is to rename your program files folder to "\program files"
2.d that destroys parts of the system, but doesn't matter because it is just needed for unlocking
2.e since now the link location should be correct, proceed with step 3.
3. Click "unlock", maybe a soft reset is needed.
4. Start repart_doc.exe
5. Set the future size, if not pre-entered, to 128kb (smallest possible partition size on this file system)
6. Click "Format now!"
7. Soft reset
8. Go back to the Extrom Tools
9. "Lock"
10. "Hide"
11. Now proceed with "Upgrading a WM5/6 device"
Upgrading a WM5/6 device
1. Remove both the the SIM card and the sd card

8. After finishing, take the device out of the cradle take out the battery and insert the SIM card
9. copy the EXTROM folder to the sd card and insert the sd card
10. Hard reset the device, pressing reset+power and record+camera and in the menu, that appears set:
Enable_Kitl: NO
Clean Registry Hive: YES
Format Storage: YES
using the camera and record buttons.
11. press the mail button to confirm your selection.
12. your device starts for the first time, you align the screen and let the extrom install, it soft resets and your device is ready to use

what exactly does not work for you, i tested the sync with contacts, tasks, favorites and appointments and it all works out fine so far.
did you hard reset your device after upgrading, did you delete the old sync profile, set up a new one and set the content settings right?

No, there is no Microphone AGC in the settings.

when using Lanscape mode, and at the restart, the screen will return to Potrait with a touch screen that does not irregular like the R71's Xplode. but it was not my experience on the d-two ROM version 1 (WM6.5.1 build 23052). try to use the method Lanscape then restart, then you will experience it.

This solved the input settings problem:
Remove the "Redirect" value under the following keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]
Until now, it seems to be a very fast and stable ROM!! My congratulations on this D-two!! and my thanks to Chef_Tony.

2- How i can change the OS number in boot loader screen!
3- how i can get today plugin work!!

1- I don't know, post your build_log.txt from the root of the kitchen so I can see what packages you have enabled.
2- I don't know, I don't think our devices support changing that.
3- If your installing Manila it enables itself by default. If your trying to change the default I believe one of the tutorials here could help you.

A. Disable auto setup, auto setup only compatible with wm 6.1
B. Connection setup in Official OPAL and other HTC device always crash with ADC, so choose ADC or Conection setup only.
2. You don't need to change it, Why do you want to change it?
3. What kind of today plugin? M2D? or default WM 6.5 titanium plugin?
4. camera driver and camera application, usually camera driver is in the OEM, and camera app in the separate folder inside EXT

Thx Besfen, another question, do u have remapped phone canvas in order to fill the screen correctly without appearing of scroll bar when dialing!!

Cook in this package and it should fix it. It worked for me with Mega's phonecanvas which I recommend as it works correctly with 6.5. I don't know if it will work with older ones but you can give it a try.

Its funny what is going on, after flashing the today in control panel is working, after turining off the mobile and turning on its not!!!

I've just installed BSB tweaks 1.6 from a thread on this site, but when I come to open it I get an error saying
"An uexpected error has occured in BsBTweaks.exe.
Select quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information
This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft.NET compact framework that the version installed on this device"
What is the Microsoft.NET Compact Framework and where do I get a newer one?
If I click on details it says
"BsB Tweaks.exe MissingMethodException
This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft.NET compact framework that the version installed on this device"

The clue's in the error message (and the 1st post in the BsB Tweaks thread).
You need to download and install .Net 3.5.
I believe there's a link for it in the BsB Tweaks thread.

I didn't get a .cab file like normal, just got a heap of files, system files, NET files, Mscore files, whatever the hell those are?

Your learning curve is a steep one but let's battle on.
I have just gone to the same thread/post and downloaded the file you should have downloaded. If that's not what you have, go back and download the correct file type. Its a zipped file with a load of other files in it. This type of zipped file is called a cab file.
Connect your phone to your pc via activsync (read the manual, it tells you how), then copy this cab file (do not extract it, just copy it across as it is) to your phone.
Next, open file explorer on your phone (you will find this tool if you click Start at the top left of your phone and scroll down), find the cab file, double tap on it and it will install.
Job done.

And ignore the stuff about editing the registry. Don't worry about that. Just install the cab on your device and then BsB Tweaks will work.

I have just gone to the same thread/post and downloaded the file you should have downloaded. If that's not what you have, go back and download the correct file type. Its a zipped file with a load of other files in it. This type of zipped file is called a cab file.
Connect your phone to your pc via activsync (read the manual, it tells you how), then copy this cab file (do not extract it, just copy it across as it is) to your phone.
Next, open file explorer on your phone (you will find this tool if you click Start at the top left of your phone and scroll down), find the cab file, double tap on it and it will install.
Job done.

Thanks. Got the .cab file this time. I have no trouble installing .cab files but for somereason it didn't extract first time, therefore I thought I had to do something with all the other files :-/
I've got BsB tweaks up and running now, but it still doesn't seem to function properly. It doesn't seem to have changed opera in the sense that I still can't click links unless I zoom in. I do have the opera link click turned on.
Also when I check the boxes for the programs I want to use rotation for they uncheck themselves everytime I leave the menu. I will have a look at that BSB tweaks thread and see if anyone else has had these issues.

You definitely need to read up on BsB, because you're expecting something that's not correct.
Just spend some time reading the thread - there's a lot of help in there, so don't just skip to the end

I read this thread a couple of times and still didn't get it right.
Can you please help me?
i downloaded all the needed files. first i installed Net 3.5. than i restarted and then i installed the BsB Tweaks cab file and then i restarted the phone again. when i tryed to activate the BsB Tweaks app it gave me the the error you have been talking about here, and i can't get past this problem...
any suggestions?

HTC HD2 to HD7

I am having difficult time turning my HD2 to Hd7
Everything is OK except for HTC Connection Setup
it says same thing: "Carrier doesn’t exist in the database
Can someone please help me with this problem and what i need to do to make my HD2 turn into HD7?

You have toinstall XMODDeployer.xap, that app will deploy the correct settings to change the phone into a HD7 to My Ringtones. Use TouchXplorer to copy those settings to the Windows-folder. Then run HTC Connection Wizard and it will pass everything and work like a charm.

I already did the steps above
this is what i did
unlock the phone with ChevronWP7
run Tom XAP Installer as a administrator
install XBMODDeployer
install TouchXplorer
on the phone i launched XBMODDeployer which copied the CustClear.provxml to ringtone. I copied that to the windows folder using TouchXplorer
then i launched the Htc connection setup
same problem

I had the same problem...and the only way i changed the registry settings was t side load "TOUCHXPERIENCE REGISTRY EDITOR". A little tedious at first, but worked. Now, i have everything working and when i need to do a registry tweak, i don't have to us any deployer, i just go straight to the entry and edit. Hope this helps.
You can get it on the webiste...just google it.

i don't know what to do at this point and also not sure if i got the right file

Most of the packaging programs like 7zip can open *.xap files because they are also only archives. Make sure that you don't open that *.xap file ^^
You can open xml-documents by using notepad.

The problem is that Connection Setup doesn't have any data for some of the smaller carriers. You could just borrow someone else's sim card to activate it and switch back to your own afterwards.
