I bought a Samsung Galaxy S GT I9003 in Hong Kong in May this year. It stopped working. I live in the UK and Samsung does not reckognise international warranties, meaning that Samsung UK support would not repair it and Samsung Hong Kong support does not provide support through the mail. I am stuck. Has anybody got any suggestion?

I'm thinking about a white galaxy note. I have found a few places online that sell them but i think that any of the ones that have it in stock at the moment will be the hong Kong version.
What are the implications of buying a hong version samsung andriod phone? Will i run into any issues with regards to software updates or usability of the phone at all or is it literally a different charger and thats it?
Many thanks for your help and advice

I live in Portugal, but bought a Galaxy S4 (GT-i9500) in qatar. The screen is wanting to come off a bit. I have the invoice to purchase the Galaxy. So I wonder if the samsung warranty is international.
You'd need to find the same store you bought it from, that's how it usually works, but even then, i think it only applies to the country you purchased it from.

AND AT LAST IS THIS PHONE IS WATER PROOF OR NOT???????
I'm in Australia, and bought my S7 edge dual sim from an eBay seller who imported the phone from HK (i believe).
Looks like I'm having a hardware problem with the phone (bought it in August 2016), and I don't want to send it back to HK for repair, and there's a Samsung shop near my place, do you think they will accept my phone and get it fixed?
Not really sure about the warranty.
Any aussies with similar experience?
I don't think Samsung offers international warranty. In doesn't at least in India.
I think Samsung offers regional warranty, not global.
