I assume you mean the whole charger. Available from the Asus shop (and not many other places!) http://shop.asus.co.uk/shop/gb/en-GB/Home/3-Accessories/11-Batteries-Powers/88-Adapters/90-XB2VOKPW00010Y-ASUS-Eee-Pad-Transformer-TF101-Adapter-(with-EURO-UK-Plugs).aspx
My charger stopped working and I mailed it out to Asus and they replaced it for free, but i did have to pay shipping to the repair center.

I was laying in bed last night when I plugged in my Transformer to charge it and the ac adapter started to buzz and when I touched it the ac adapter started to spark. The ac adapter was 0B-1LF
Just wanted everyone to know and to be careful.
If it does start a fire, I smell lawsuits.

More likely, reading the thread from the "new posts" link in the header, didn't notice which forum the thread was in, and assumed the OP meant "Transformer" as in "ac adapter", not as in a brandname.

This could very well be an issue with your electrical, and less with the adapter.
That said, Asus has shown itself to be pretty bad at making consistently good products, so a few bad (even very bad, apparently) apples/chargers wouldn't surprise me in the least.
I believe you. Someone else's here actually melted.

Whoa, Asus has a defense dept contract to manufacture mines?
Damn, that charger got jacked up. I have always used Asus motherboards in my computers (Maximus IV Extreme, currently) and never had any problems. I did get the "faulty charger" with my TF, but it never showed any signs of trouble from the week I had it.
Mine gets hot but not hot enough to melt. Was it plugged into the wall directly, extension cable, or power strip? You in the US?
I had a charger for my MacBook melt and shoot sparks, and even though it was way out of warranty they still replaced it for me at the apple store. Now I always use surge protectors and other high quality power strips.

I didn't mean any harm when I said that. I take it back if you feel offended by it
I kinda figured you were probably reading the "New Posts" using the xda app.
Anyways, back on topic. Like some others have said, it might be caused by a sudden voltage spike from the outlet. Where do you live and is it plugged into the wall directly? I know some countries have really "dirty" power and instability killing electronics all the time.

Did you end up contacting Asus about this?
If yes, what did they say or do about it?
We didn't start the fire, It was always burning , Since the world's been turning, We didn't start the fire
If you do a little searching, you will see that similar issues have occurred with the charger. It appears that the contacts between the charger body and the country adapter are very fragile and can easily result in a high resistance connection which then heats up the plastic case and allows the connection to get even worse. I am sure ASUS does not manufacture the charger, but rather buys it on the open market to their specs. I would never leave my TF charging and leave the house or go to sleep.
there was a thread here about 0B-1F (i 'm pretty sure there was supposed to be an "L" in it).
a member here was told that those "power supplies" were faulty.
Has anyone found a place to purchase some rubber fillers or something to fill the two holes on the bottom of the tf300t?
i found rubber cement or epoxy to work effectively. a permanent solution.

I dont think I would do that because I am planning on purchasing the dock in 1-2 months. I know the Prime came with rubber plugs, just wondering if they would fit in the tf300

If anything, I bet they'd be as close as you can get to anything that would fit the TF300. In fact, I've seen a video of someone using a TF700 in a TF300 dock, so I bet the slots are nearly identical. I'd say take the gamble and get TF700 plugs if you can find them.
Yeah I can't seem to find anyone selling them though :/

I started looking at the openings after reading this thread. The only one I would care to cover would be the port. Looks like I'm going to end up making something for it that won't damage the pins. A plug of some sort would be nice when a keyboard isn't attached.
If you do contact Asus, I would appreciate you sending me a PM letting me know their answer. Thanks

Edit: Well, I thought they did. A friend of mine ordered one. I just can't find them. WTF?

One with the dock, but it probably has to be RMA'd. Unrecoverable bootloader error. Not a message that you want to see in Fastboot mode.

How much costs the RMA for "Unrecoverable bootloader error"? Is it really the $ 202 for the whole mainboard?
Somewhere in a polish forum I've read that a user got it the RMA for around $ 20.. but maybe his was just softbriked?!
Well, Asus should have to possibility to delete easily all partitions and reflash fastboot via apx, don't they?

They're not very smart, the devs here could design a better bootloader for the tf300 than Asus
I bought mine with the keyboard dock, as a refurbished model from woot last november. Haven't had any issues with it at all

Best buy was a lot more helpful than Asus... they let me exchange it 3 times without losing or using my replacement plan.
Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2
I'm on my third tablet. My first had a dead pixel but was otherwise perfect. Walmart exchanged it with no hassles. The second started out perfect, but within a couple weeks, the touch input gave out. I would get ghost presses by lightly squeezing the left edge of the tablet (no more force than was required to hold the tablet with one hand; that was how I first noticed the ghost touches), then I would get random ghost touches regardless, and within a couple days, it didn't respond to touch input at all. That one also got returned without hassles.
This third tablet has been great minus the I/O issues. If the I/O could be fixed, my tablet would be perfect.
My first TF300 hand issues with the touch screen and went back to best buy for an exchange. Before that I had an TF101 whet through had to exchange my first two TF101 and the third one screen went out after about a year, so I upgraded to the TF300.
I I/O issues with just about all Asus tablets and the fact that I'vd had to exchange every Asus tablet at lest one leads me to think this will be my last Asus tablet. Even though I love Asus tablet and dock combo but, I'll probably be going with a Samsung next time.

The TF300 I have is from that same sale last year. IO seems to be better with a custom ROM. Only real issue mine has is that the micro SD slot broke last week and the card will not stay inserted. Not a big deal for me though.

Not really sure. I was using the tablet to listen to music and browse the web before bed and when I was putting it up I noticed the card was sticking out and I couldn't click it back in.

I am pretty sure they will charge you for the repair considering it was not a factory defect but they may repair it for a discounted price if its under warranty. Not sure but it couldn't hurt to contact Asus and ask.
