Is it possible to update MIUI using MIUI AppShare?
The MIUI AppShare app suddenly appeared with suggestions of possible updates, including MIUI ROM.
Can I do this instead of updating "Patensas" ROM to the latest version?
At the moment I am using "PATs JW MIUI Sense like" ver. 1.9.16.
I know that there is a newer one (ver1.9.30) out but I am just curious!

well i have tried alot of rom, and i have keen liking towards the miui rom, but every miui rom that i have tried has some bug or the other. is there a bug free miui rom out there anywhere.please let me know
when using 1.6 ROM rooted some apps are not shown in the market like Whats app or Twitter... i'v tried a lot of patched markets and a lot of 1.6 ROMs in this forum .. can anybody tell me whats the problem ?
A lot of apps do not support android 1.6 anymore, most of them require 2.x and higher android versions, i would suggest you to flash 2.x ROM to get those apps..
I just want to recommend you Cyanogen Mod CM7 7.2.0 RC1 ROM. It's fast and smooth, good thing for your phone. I'd say that it's faster than stock 1.6 ROM.
Hi there.
I have decided to use an older CM7 ROM purely for stability and speed reasons, but I really like the YouTube, Gmail, and Browser that comes with the newer ICS and JB ROMS.
Is there a way to install the newer apps on the older ROM?
Thanks
I think that no.
CM10 is built on JellyBean (Android v 4.1.2) and CM7 with GingerBeard (Android 2.3.6) so the versions of apps are very different, you can't get JellyBean's version of an app on a GingerBeard rom.
Hope you guys can help me answer 2 quick questions I have:
I.) I just got my Oppo Find 5 today and installed the latest MIUI ROM (Recovery and Rooted) and was wondering if you can simple update the ROM via the MIUI app that come pre-installed. Is that possible?
II.) Between the Color ROM, MIUI and PAC ROM, which do you find better and why?
My take:
MIUI
Has lots of features that I use like VOIP integration, blacklisting, permissions etc. but is very laggy when it comes to opening folders.
Color ROM
Very snappy, but it's missing a lot of features that MIUI has
PAC
Haven't installed it yet : ( Does it have the feature of MIUI too?
Thanks
Is there any miui based rom with root?? I was using miui mix, but I have some issues with it.
Just stay on stock man, leave that crowd. It's a never ending rom flashing marathon.
