Hi,
Does anyone have the background of the smoking flower? I saw it just the other day in some ROM I tried out, but I cannot find it any more...I would appreciate it if someone could send it to me or provide me with a link to it.

I live in South Australia. Yes Australia is a beautiful place and very techno-savvy. Many of my friends have owned or own a HTC mobile and love this site!
Brisbane is also a great place to visit, especially lower down on the Gold Coast.

Probably not, lol, seeing asian and arabic countries got 2.3.4 update for quite some time and most of Europe, if not all of it, hasn't got official 2.3.4 up till now.

this update only works for the korean galaxy S II. It won't work on the european galaxy s ii, nor on the galaxy S that you mentioned.

The Korean is a different model , i.e. not a GT-I9100 like our International vesion, but a SHW-M250K(S). For instance, it has TV (and a for that antenna)
So, DON'T FLASH THAT ROM!!! I don't know exactly what would be the consequences, but the chances of bricking your phone would be high...

Think they are skipping 2.3.4 because of the connection issues and instead jumping straight to 2.3.5.

The update also has a cosmetic change. THERE IS A NEW LARGE FONT HOME SCREEN. and 2 new widgets.One is a contact widget. the other is a frequently used apps widget.

I have a 250K and updated to it 24 hours ago. Anybody having problems after updating it? I get random shutdowns and reboots every few hours. Sometimes it happens without touching it. I would love to re-flash it with the same 2.3.5 but Kies doesn't allow that
Any ideas?

Tried that already. Odin is the only option.

Try factory reset !

KL3 Improvements/Changes List

1. Favorites is now spelled correctly when set to US English in the dialer! (Can any UK English users confirm if "Favourites" still exists when using UK English?)
2. Disabling of Airplane mode now gives a pop-up confirmation.
3. Polar Office is updated.
4. The ICS theme elements in the dialer seem to have been removed. Back to standard TW.
Any others you've noticed?

The getting called screen is back to how it was before KL1, phone icon is back too. I'm talking about KL1 dev-release.

Well, yes, I should have said that Favorites is spelled correctly in US English, which is the version I use.
Is it incorrectly using the US Spelling when setting the default to UK English where it should then read "Favourites" as it did before in both?
Too bad, because if it is, the dialer surely has the option to change languages completely, because if I set my phone to use Spanish, everything changes correctly.
I just prefer US English. I have edited the OP to better reflect this.

Thanks for noticing, and I agree. The international "flavor" of this place is something I enjoy!
The comment wasn't intended as a display any nationalism on my part, because (obviously) as you pointed out, I'm not an American, I just prefer (when not using Spanish) to use US English in my phone, which I tend to do almost all the time, and I was just wondering if the error was still there in the dialer, because I know that it was there until KL3, and it sort of bothered me because it showed a level of sloppiness of Samsung's part that they didn't devote much attention to the small details such as UI language, etc.
I wasn't trying to start a war with Canada, because I can see how using the same colors as the US flag, when combined with the similar use of stars (though, in fairness, we are missing 48 of them) can be confusing at times.

Yes it's newer. K=2011 L=December #=build number. Modem is same though. If you want a newer modem use KP1.

I couldn't get accuweather widget to locate me, tried dozens of times. Got a lock in Maps then immediately went to the widget, nothing. The Accuweather portion of the Desk Clock would locate me, but not the dumb widget. Then I turned Bluetooth on and instantly got a lock. weird.

Anyone can post a wipe version of KL3? I having problem flashing the non-wipe version.

I'm very reluctant to flash as im happy with KL1 can someone who was using KL1 and is now using this confirm whether or not it is any better as KL1 is excellent IMO.

not yet , just root for the time being , but i may be an app that resets the counter without the usb jig , but i will get back to you for that info , cause i dont remember

It seems like the app TriangleAway has been updated to work on the GS3! So the counter can be set to 0 for warranty purposes!

Even from the specs it looks obviously fake. (Box and phone also look very fake).
And I doubt you would be able to get android on this.

Where did you buy it from?
If it's eBay, contact them for fraud and return it back.

I use a little crappy phone cause I change over to Walmart straight talk service.Only paid 38bux was hope it a cheap upgrade to what I got stuck with.I used to have a droid x when I was with Verizon ,but they kept getting to expensive.So that's why I wanna see if I can add the android OS to this phone to make it more American friendly lol only way I can put it.I searched through google and kept getting the real galaxy 3 advise which wasn't helping my cause
