Google wallet is SPRINT only. T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon chose the Isis mobile payment instead of Google's. Blame your carrier for that.

Hey guys does your pinch and zoom work in the gallery app since the update?

Anyone with 2.3.6 with GRK39C radio get this update? Wondering if I need to update manually since it's using the same version number as the initial release...
The radio seems a lot better now, faster in places where I live in So Cal where it used to suck.

It looks that way, so far. I have the i9020A and checked in, but got nothing. I've seen noone else claiming to have gotten it either
Sorry in advance for being dozy....
Can I just confirm that this will work on a WW GSM Nexus S? I'm sure I saw a couple of mentions from mainland Europe but nothing from the UK yet...
Just updated to 2.3.6 (i9023).
- Can't disable NFC
- Can't disable sign out from Latitude
Edit: Rebooting the phone solved it. It also renamed back "Google Mail" to Gmail.
I cant disable nfc either?

Yep works on European Nexus S. Just made a manual update with update.zip method. Can't see anything new yet...

I use "What's App." Works great across different platforms (and especially for international texts - no fees!). It's like an instant messaging service, but it piggybacks your cell network if you're tethering.
EDIT: sorry, I forgot to mention that it only works if the other person has What's App, too.
I use Google voice, only thing that you don't get are the picture msgs.

Yes, I also use the fantastic product: 'Tablet Talk'

Yes. Tablet talk syncs to your phone via WiFi or Bluetooth..so technically its using your cell service as an "extension" to your cell phone. I love it.

Google Voice, however like someone mentioned they haven't incorporated MMS into it yet.

I've used Tablet Talk for a couple weeks now and it hasn't really worked for me. I'm thinking that it's probably because of my phone. Does anyone else have a Galaxy S II/N7 pairing that works?

Be a bit more specific For example..are you using a 3rd party SMS program such as GoSms or Handicent? If so..read the FAQ for tablet talk.
Whats the issue that you're having?
Seriously amazed by tablet talk, my galaxy s3,suffered the sudden death syndrome, so was in a fickle, bought a cheap Huawei blaze and it's tethered to my phone and having to use tablet talk for texts and calls is amazing. Those using tablet talk for Blue tooth calling how clear is it.

If I'm not mistaken, In tablet talk you have to be connected by blue tooth or on the SAME wifi. An app called CLOUD SMS doesn't require that you be on the same wifi, I can receive text on my n7 even if I'm connected to wifi and my phone is not.

Unless its an app that updates all the time side loading isn't a bad way to do it. In your case that seems like the least headache solution for now.

Hi guys, I just bought my nexus 4. I'm really hesitant in updating because I also own a nexus 7 and when I updated that, my tablet was just flawed from left to right so I ended up downgrading it back to 4.1.2. Also, I hear that there is a way to enable LTE, but that with the new update the LTE function goes away? I would really appreciate to hear you guys' opinions. Thanks!

Even if you do update to the latest you can still flash a different radio which will give you the option to use lte.
Oh ok just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't lose the LTE option. Does the new update have any flaws? Or are u happy with the new update and what are the differences between 4.2.1 and 4.2.2?

I think a lot of us are on the 4.2.2 update. Those who didn't update are of course on 4.2.1 because they want their LTE. I would like to a say a majority of the members are on 4.2.2.
Some folks are still having Bluetooth and WiFi issues. Problems like the difficulty of connecting to their device and the same for WiFi. This is plaguing some users but not all. Just a small percentage. On my end everything is working fine. It's just weird to hear others are having these problems. I never have any issues with my devices. If you want to update to 4.2.2, I strongly suggest you do a super clean install/update.

4.2.2 has been better for battery life, at least for me. You should update it. And for LTE you can flash old radio, but might not work with the latest versions of certain ROMs, so do your research on that. I believe you can just do a nandroid for 4.2.1 (not 100% on this)

Yeah thanks for the advice, and your right about the battery life because I feel that considering that the nexus 4 has a 2100mah battery the battery doesn't last long enough. If I can do a nandroid backup then it would be awesome. I'm pretty new to the nexus 4 scene, so I appreciate everyone's help thus far.

anyone have a link to the 4.2.1 stock ROM. i think my speaker for my phone has gotten lower with the 4.2.2 update and i want to downgrade it.
http://www.randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/nexus-4/occam/
It's the third one down the list on the "images". Use 7zip to unpack the files and flash away!
EDIT: There is the option to have 4.2.2 with the 33 baseband to retain the LTE, however that has caused problems for people so the only official way to make it work with LTE is to flash 4.2.1 with the 33 base.
I've noticed my nexus 4 completely locking up during chromecast control being active. It especially likes to happen after locking the screen. I'm on 4.3. Anyone else having this issue? It never locked up before and doesn't seem to unless I'm actively controlling my chromecast.

I am having the same issue. When I am Chromecasting, the phone will not wake and I have to hold power to reset, luckily this does not affect the stream. I also flashed 4.3 and did not wait for the OTA.
PS. I picked mine up from Best Buy also. I had to call around and find one that just had it delivered as they are going FAST. I know that a few of the other Best Buy's around me are getting a few shipments in over the weekend.

Dunno, it seems everyone having issues flashed 4.3, but I have yet to see a post from someone with an OTA update.
4.3 is supposed to have new DRM in it. Perhaps it doesn't get along well with root.
Yeah, root was my very uneducated guess

I do not think that it has anything to do with root. I sideloaded with locked bootloader and not rooted and am currently not rooted. But then again I could have messed up somewhere.
