It is available in the Nexus S 4G Development section and should only be used on that model.
It came out with 2.3.7

A shame, if there is something I'd like to see improved in my Nexus S is the wifi signal.
Thanks for confirming

I definitely like the signal strength since flashing the new modem.

It has made a difference in my signal and reception. I tried it last week at lake house, I always had to use Roam Control to get phone to work. I could actually talk without it or walking to areas and "can you hear me now?""

[ICS] [AOSP] [Nexus S 4G] Koush's Build for CDMA Nexus S 4G

I take no credit for this what so ever!!! All I did with the help of Joelz9614 is port to our CDMA Nexus 4Gs. This is a source build from Koush, he did all of the amazing work to get this rom to work! I spoke with Koush and have his permission to post. Also thank you to Kwiboo, I used some of his Libs as well to get CDMA working.
Well here are the goods:

Ns4g cm9

Ok so I've been trolling the fourums here since I had my captivate.. was running cm7 on that and loved it... I passed that phone to my wife n opted for a ns4g. So far love it.... I liked the aosp ics but have now settled back with cm7 and feel stuck in the past... my question is does anyone know if they are working on a ns4g cm9... if so anyone know its current status... I really likes the aosp ics except very buggy... if I missed a thread on this sorry I could not find one...
Thanks

Its being worked on. Gonna take a while for nightly status though.

aosp's ICS is the best of the bunch in my opinion. I've been running it for the past week, without any issues. Perhaps you should try it again with a full wipe (system, boot, etc).
The fact that I've stuck with this for an entire week says something. I usually switch roms every couple of days!

Baseband on NS4G

I just got my replacement nexus s 4g on the mail and I have a question about the baseband numbers. On my old phone it is d720sprke1. This is the one that I have seen on nexus phones. My new one says d720sprkh1. Where did this one come from? All my friends that have nexus's have the one ending in e1. Thanks for your help.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Huh. I also have the e1. Isn't the baseband the modem.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Yes it is. Just wondering where this baseband came from that I have. I'm thinking its The same as the e1.

D720SPRKH1 and D720SPRKE1 are the same. H1 is the true intended name for the radio. However, when it first came out, it was mistakenly called E1 (which was a big source of confusion because the previous one was E5). The old designation has persisted, unfortunately.

Noticed a slight improvement in some areas with this PRL. But nothing to make me throw a party.
Man if sprint turned their 4g towers to 3g and. What not i would never complain again all i can say is i get poor service in my area and it sucks cuz i gotta surf wifi all over town (sad face)

I get Hellua strong 3G almost anywhere around town. It's when I start going up North that it goes downhill. Farther North you go, Crappier it gets.
At work I get a better 4G signal than 3G. At home it's the other way around.

"Best"?
If you don't care about LTE, download and flash the .48 baseband.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
Otherwise follow this guide if you want to try LTE. (If it's available in your area)

It goes a little farther than that. Whether you want LTe or not. 48 is known to dropout alot. I get a better signal and faster data speeds with the older radios
