They will only work in certain resolutions.... There is a thread in this forum that has instructions on how to change the reg keys to enable more resolutions.... Worked perfect on my aspire one.

Hi all,
I'm using HTC HD2 running NAND Android. I tried many builds, and even I can compile "my clone" of released build before flashing. I use ADB and Droid Explorer fluently.
So ... now my friend come with Galaxy 3. I want to help him with few issues. First I wanna to look inside, if I can see any problems. But ... I'm NOT able to have ADB connect.
The comp is Win 7 machine 64bit. With HD2 works well. With Samsung we tried several driver versions. I can have valid Samsung devices in Device manager, but ADB does not connect.
Is here, or there any guide, how to make it communicate?
thanks
PS. I tried the "search", but either the answer is not here, or I'm blind

Tried a few days ago - everything seemed to be working fine for normal use.
But had my tab reboot several times when downloading a large file. Uninstalled havent had a reboot downloading same file.
May or may not work for you. Probably need to fine tune settings in script but my tab is running smooth regardless.
People should be very skeptical about messing with the memory management in an OS.
Same thing for task killers...they can be helpful to kill an application(to stop it from running in the background), but an auto task killer is generally not a good idea...not on android and not on Linux or windows.
Free memory says nothing, as it's better to use memory then to not use memory performance wise.
Not saying that this can't be the exception to the rule(bad idea to not use the OS's internal memory management), but i'm not convinced.
In android, nothing to worry.
You reflash. You can do anything. Hope you find your sweet spot.

Just flashed this on my ThunderBolt running BAMF 2.1 GingerStripped and my T-Mobile Galaxy Tab running Overcome Hermes.
IMO Overcome Hermes + Juwe 11 Script = Overcome Icarus.
If Overcome Icarus + Juwe 11 Script = ????
IMO it will smoked ipad by mile.
It super fast.
This both AB86 and Juwe 11 is genius.
Thanks a million.
thanks trying this now

How much RAM do you have running this script? My Tab has less free RAM while running it (used: 230mb before and 310mb after the script).
As already stated in this thread, it's not the purpose of the script to give you the most amount of free memory at all times but to optimise memory use for max performance.

No need. Just use root explorer to delete the file.
I have this camera isue whic persists on all roms.
I tried uninstalling it,copying another one in system/app but no success.
It just looks like this and after some time it askes me to force close or wait..
I am running Hyperdroid CM7,with installed angel death gps fix and nmea gps libraries.
Help

You say it persists on all roms, did you do the usual task29-clean install when trying other roms? No fixes or lib patches, just the clean rom?

Can I install other os like ubuntu on my galaxy y pls help gadget gurus!
You can try, but its not going to be good. Because the resolution of SGY is so low (240x320), it have a low RAM (290) and a very very very low internal memory. But you can install a custom ROM, search for it in the Dev section.

If kernel supports remount then you can easily emulate Ubuntu or preferably debian as sgy is an army device using the terminal emulator
