Got a new back cover from MotoCare!

Hi guys!!
With the holidays comes the vacation, so I got nothing to do and went back to clean my cases without success. using the MotoCare app, I asked how to know the right way and which products to use for such cleaning.
My surprise was that, in minutes, the support from Motorola called me, confirmed my address, and will soon be sending out new back cover for free (only colors that are difficult to clean, white and green) and voila, just like that.
so I receive will post pictures of the new capes. if someone got this too, or wanna try contact the support, reply this thread to all people know how much the company cares about you

No kidding?? That's bloody nice of them...prolly just angry customer care guys who did not get holidays are on a mission to bankrupt the company

i received this news week ago by a post on FB group... there's a screenshot of a conversation in motocare, with customer care girl, and she said they will send for free... unbelievable!! :good:

yep, typing the customer care girl is rlly typing, but when is listening, she's waiting for your answer!! try it and post some news to us!!

I have black back and it's impossibile to clean it? Some dust seem insidie plastic! Have u solution? Im Italiano customer Motorola can't send me new cover ehehehe

Was your back damaged or dirty? What was their reason for sending a new back? Will it be the same color?

Ei guys in not newbs! This isnt normal if after cleaning the dust still remain! I've Try it with water and alcool 90 denat. PS. I have it from 2 week, impossible wear and tear

its not dust. This is the matt finish on the plastic being polished out by use. I expect you made it worse by cleaning/rubbing.
It is not 'normal' by which I mean it should NOT happen or at least those photos should be the result of a years use, not a couple of weeks!!

I clean my Moto g with baby wipes and they work great. I would love a new color for the back though.

Sorry, maybe I did not explain well. The cover has become so after 4 days of normal use. In those days I never clean with anything, just a cloth!!

In that case, its not normal. It would normally take months, or some real torture for it to look like that. Four days of use shouldn't cause that, even if you treated it like absolute ****e.
I wear my phones out pretty damned quickly, they usually barely last a year. But I've never seen that sort of wear after just four days.

I9505 doesn't respond

Hy guys. i have a problem with my s4. it dropped from my pocket today on bottom side. and as it dropped, the battery went out and he shut down. only a little physical mark on bottom, nothing special. and screen is fine. but the problem is, that i can't boot it. it doesn't even vibrate when i hold power button, and it doesn't charge -.- any suggestions? it's hardware problem right?

if you don't have warranty, open and check for lose connectors or battery pins

September 2018 security update

Hi everyone!
I miss something or this month we have no security update?
I'm waiting for it to hard reset my pixel

Seems to be running late?

Usually they release the update on the first Monday of the month, but yesterday was Labor Day so probably delayed until sometime today.

That makes no sense. They don't only release on Mondays, so if there's a holiday they wait a week! Should drop later today.

I was thinking it would be today as well. Also if you go by what Google did last year with the Pixel 2's, this should be the code that ships with the new Pixel 3's.

Hopefully today...

Well, as that conversation is private and dont have any official status, you cant say anything properly, yet they werent even answering in the past when we were asking if they will get pie or not. But as far as the expert says we will get a notification it can be true
I wonder how we will get a notification, maybe from members app? Also i want to remind you that he didnt say they will be in beta along 9 series its still unclear but as he says they will its the thing to lookout for

Ok. So if we will not get the beta for S8 & S8+, will there be a chance to get the beta unofficially? By sideloading a Pie update build or something the same as the S9 and S9+ is getting now from leaks?

Wouldnt think so, as oreo and pie is very diffrent and it would be easier to wait for it. Even if there was a leak to use it, maybe we could who knows
