O2 Homezone Display without Extended Rom?

Hello everybody,
I just recently got my Prophet and it works like a charm without the Extended Rom. But does anybody know a way how I can still get the homezone displayed?
I kind of need that function since my phone flatrate only applies to the homezone.

Try to only install the install.ARM.cab from Extended Rom. Then you should be able to see the home zone in the phone-connection thing.

Office Mobile Full Version?

Hi!
Is there a chance to get a FULL Version of Office Mobile for Windows 6.1, not just an update? I have a clean 6.1 ROM on my G900, without office.....

hmm looks like from looking around the toshiba is a hermes? not sure eh
If it is looks like pdacorner's office cab in my 4shared should do the trick.

It works not really. Adobe and Notepad works, but Excel, Word and Powerpoint don´t..:-(
Seems to be the high resolution screen of the Toshiba....

Weird ... hmm let me hunt around then ... where did u get the 6.1? seem to come with 6.0 only?

Your are right, but davideuck from www.myg900.com has managed to release a ripped WM6.1 ROM for the G900 in german language! It works perfectly, but i really miss the office apps....

nice, if he has ripped the clean 6.1 you might pay to search there for the office also? you're killing me let me register there and search for you .. or should i not bother as you have supposedly search?

Good to see you asked a question there, .. well let's hope it works, as you notice, XDA is only for HTC branded devices ... sad to say .. may be try the diamond forums and trial and error ... and see if you can get office cabs from one of the higher resolution devices, other than that ... sorry. can't help

Manila on tytnII

Hi. I am brand new to this site and have been reading for 3 hrs now. i have found a lot but still unsure how to solve my issue and get the right software.
i am hoping an experienced member can help me quickly.
I have a TYTN II and would like to get Touch Flo 2 (Manilla) on it. Thus I have 3 questions:
1. I want to upgrade to WM 6.1. Do I do that upgrade first via the HTC web site? Or does the manila upgrade include WM 6.1?
2. Does the installation of manilla include the OS or it is just as simple as installing a program?
3. Can u please point me in the direction of the latest stable version of Manila for the TYTN II without any fancy skins. I want the original skin.
4. And finally, i have an older MDA running WM5. Will manila work on it? Or is this asking too much?

1. You'll have to get it through the official HTC site.
2. Manilla is a 'skin' that sits on top of wm6.1, refer to the various threads for install instructions.
3. Currently release 19b, but be aware its no where near 'complete' - it functions but no way i could use it daily on my TyTnII.
4. Maybe. Probably not. Try it and let us know.

yes it works with TYTN II (also called kaiser) actualy it works 100% with some of the cooked roms you find in the Kaiser forum. and it's perfectly capable of day to day use. if release 19b is not usefull for day to day use then go for a cooked rom because all of them are perfect for day to day use.
I've been runing manila 2d on all my devices for weeks without any problems.

I sold my Data Messenger in favour for a 914c, found tha data messengar to have way to many flaws for my taste.

I've tagged a couple other threads dealing with the ipaq data messenger (sly) too...really interested to see if anyone has toyed around with cooking a 6.5 rom with the latest builds for this device. like i said on one of the other forums..the trick is finding more than us who actually bought one of these...

manila 2.0 problems

hi developers!
i've installed manilla 2.0 on my touch find (cruise, polaris) and it works perfectly, but thje problem is that the phone doesn't see my microsd card, it says: not installed. Any one can help me please?
Moreover, i've instaled the manilla 2.0 becouse my speaker doesn't work, and i tought that i'd repaer it with new software, but it is still broken. How can i fixe it?

your speaker problem must surely be hardware related so use your warranty or send it to HTC to fix it.
now with manilla i advise you to install one of the rom´s in here that come with it(3lite VI would be my choice although VII is out).
I managed to get manilla working perfectly with cab installation(back in the days when manilla got out,no rom´s with it) but i acknowledge that was prone to failure.When is built-in with the rom works smoother and flawless as long as you choose the right rom...i dont use it,neither manilla or any other shell...plugins FTW i use less memory and have all the things shells have and more in today screen....no panels,no slides,no nothing(Wisbar advance 3,SPB Diary 2.2,Iconsoft phoneEx)
