Hi all. Rooted 10.1 Verizon lte. The ota does not seem to install properly. When I click "restart and install" the tablet reboots to the android icon with yellow explanation point. I have no option other than to hold the power button until it reboots. Tablet reboots to cwm. Another restart brings the tablet to operational status. Nothing seems to have updated in the about section of tge ststem properties. See pic. Any ideas?

I'm assuming this is because you are not using the stock recovery. If you have CWM installed I don't think it will know how to update. Until someone makes a flashable .zip for CWM you won't be able to do it. The only alternative is to flash the stock recovery. However I did the same thing you did, tried doing the update with CWM and it didn't work. Then i flashed the stock recovery and tried to update again and now it says my system is up to date and will not download the update again.

It doesn't really seem like there is any support for the LTE tab at this time. You might be better off just wiping and starting fresh to get the upgrade at this point.

Where did you get the flashable stock recovery?
I attached both stock and cwm. I did have to zip them up...so make sure you unzip them and flash with Odin.

Thanks for this!
Where does the system save the OTA update file once it completes the download?

Is 2.1.0.13 can be rooted? Im on 2.1.0.11 and not yet updated. Any info please.
I'm on 2.1.0.11 and custom recovery. The new update just won't install. Keeps failing in recovery with file not found. Tried from sdcard1 as well but still fails. Is it because of custom recovery?

Hey pals,
I don't know what to do now, I had a 4.2.2 stock JB on my LG G2 D805 and I wanted to updated its software, so I flashed a new ROM and a Bootloader with TWRP as:
KK-20H-D802-BOOT-LOADER.zip
CloudyG2_3.3.zip
now I'm stuck in a bootloop with "Secure Booting Error! Cause: Boot certification verify."
I cannot turn the phone on, I cannot go into recovery mode where I have a backup, I can go into download mode but I'm not sure of what to do there, I'm using this program

Try to go into recovery by key Cambination. It'll bring you in a screen where it says press yes to delete data double confirm it. It'll bring you in twrp. Then flash the right bootstack. That is kk. Not the bootloader if em not wrong.. You can find it on cloudy's Form of g3.3 then flash the rom every thing gona be fine. If you're unable to go to in twrp. Then try Kdz. Method. That's the only thing left behind

Could anyone provide the stock boot.img for the SMG530AZ on 5.1.1
I recently updated the phone to lollipop and I rooted with kingroot and replaced that with supersume and flashed what I thought was the original boot.img the problem I have now is that my phone starts works and is rooted but the wifi does not work and will not turn on.
Go to settings > About Phone and tell me the compilation number. @markocl17

Ok, so here is what probably happen. You flashed the boot.img for the G530A (You can see that in the SE status). I will be trying to see if I managed to get the firmware for your phone. I can't assure I will but I will try!
However if you are willing to reset your phone you can try this.

Sorry, no I wasn't able to. Forgot to update you, had school and stuff. Do a factory reset from KIES (link in my last post) best o'luck!
@markocl17
Do you know how I would go about downgrading to kit kat?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530AZ using XDA-Developers mobile app
I don't think, it would be possible to do so due to Samsung KNOX Bootloader. But if it is you need to find the firmware to flash on ODIN, you find someone willing to make a system.img from their phone (Must be a G530AZ). Using KIES it is only possible to recover the lastest firmware available.
Sorry @markocl17

Hi,
I'm new to android and recently rooted my Galaxy S7 Edge AT&T Snapdragon and now I want to unroot and return to stock but I'm having trouble.
To begin, I can't access recovery mode anymore. I get a message in the top left corner of the screen that says something about "custom rom blocked". I tried to follow instructions I found on XDA on how to unroot and return to stock. I downloaded the files and used Odin to flash it, it begins to do something and then gives me an error.
What am I doing wrong or how do I fix it? I apologize if I'm not explaining this the greatest, like I said I'm new to this and don't understand it much. All I want to do is wipe the root and return to stock. All help is greatly appreciated!

If Your phone works then try this ^
If Your phone is dead then post the log from Odin.
Thanks for the help! I tried it multiple times and it says each time "uninstallation failed". Could it be the issue I'm having with the recovery image?

I don't think so, but I guess that the best thing You can do right now is to just reflash the whole phone with Odin, but since You get errors in Odin I need to see the log.
I successfully unrooted last night using these instructions and the files provided. I don't know if it'll work for you though.
Instructions: https://stockromupdate.com/how-to-flash-stock-rom-samsung-smartphone/
Files: https://stockromupdate.com/2016/08/...galaxy-s7-edge-sm-g935fd-6-0-1-g935fxxu1apgf/
Note: Make sure you ignore the Home_CSC file AND the Pit tab in Odin. Never touch "Pit" unless you know what you're doing. And also note that the ROM provided might not be the one developed for your country, but it should work fine.
I got Xposed installed on my Galaxy S8 (Snapdragon SamPWND_G950U) (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE)
but i am unable to download any modules at all.
Any ideas?

How did you install it? I thought you needed to flash it in recovery?
Flashed using flashfire
I flashed the files listed below using FlashFire.
Do so at your own risk, I am not responsible for any loss of data or bricked device
We're you able to figure this out? I would love exposed but don't want it if I can't get modules. Thanks

You probably forgot to check mount system rw in flashfire working fine over here
No dice here either, even made sure to mount system as r/w
File says systemless.
There still isn't real Xposed for 7.x android

FYI
i installed xposed in the steps of installing samroot at the sametime. in step 2 flash it with between system.img and samroot zip. worked great. there are a few modules, but from other posts more are to come.
