From what I understand your phone must be completely stock. Even the \boot files. Not sure if it needs to be unrooted as well though.
I'm just going to sit back and wait a few extra days. The devs here are awesome, they'll have it up in no time.
What I want is just an APK of Wallet that I can install on an older ROM.

Not sure it'll work though, even though the GRJ90 update supposedly turned on NFC, this one also has some Android "Security Fixes" that may be necessary for Wallet to work.
i just tested this and it won't work. i backed up wallet with titanium backup and restored on 2.3.5, and it will not even restore.

yeah im sure the "Security Updates" were for google wallet and Im sure the apk checks for those security features before it installs, besides I wouldnt want to install google wallet on a device that doesnt have a specific security update that google released WITH the wallet app, might leave you vulnerable to attack...

Don't worry I am sure that CM will bring those updates into the CM7 nightly builds soon.

Probably not the best idea to flash over CM. I've tried matr1x and trinity kernels and they seem fine so far.

2.3.4 has bug fixes and adds video chat. Plus theres another surprise that google is keeping secret.
The links aren't the update, these are the proprietary blobs required if you're installing/building AOSP and need the drivers.

No, you can't flash it since it's an incremental update from GRI40 as the name implies. No you wouldn't brick it, it would just refuse to flash.
The easiest way to see if there is even a chance one can flash an update is just looking at the name. The incremental updates have *build*-from-*build* in their name.

If you've flashed your radio manually to the KB3 radio then you can use the .zip from my previous post that contains the KB1 radio. Flash that in CWM and you're good to go. If you haven't manually replaced the radio then you have nothing to worry about.

It should. Earlier I downloaded the official 4.2 gapps from goo.im. I took their package and edited it against mine. It has the addon script just like theirs. Only thing I did was update my package against theirs to 4.2.1. Essentially they are identical except mine has the newer JOP40D 4.2.1 google apps from the ota and the gestere keyboard, email and exchange2 apks including wallet. Then I edited the addon script to include those.
