Downloading Wolfbreak ROM - XPERIA X10 General

Anyone else getting locked out of filesonic while downloading wolfbreaks latest ROM? I downloaded one file, closed the tab, attempted another and filesonic won't let me download another file, saying I can only download one file at a time. Restarting the browser also doesn't help.

So try to use mirrors. I have the same problem.

Odin3 communicator has stopped working

I updated to 2.2.1 and my gps stopped working. So I want to go back to the stock DI18. I have my phone in download mode and odin3 has detected it, but when I click start, it just gives me that error message. I have not rooted my phone either.
I'm getting the same thing, not sure whats going on

Have you used Odin3 before? This is my first time.
Same here. I have no problems when using odin for dk28, but I get the same error as you when trying to go back to di18. Weird. If anyone has some suggestions please help!?!
Same here
i am having the same problem with odin i moved to a different pc and it was fine.
but on my main pc it gives that error.
bump!
Having the same problem and I've rebooted the computer and phone so many times it's ridiculous...."Odin3 Communicator has stopped working" over and over again. What do I do?
EDIT: Nevermind, redownloaded the (same) tar file and it worked...
Odin looks for a *.tar by default
But the Google downloads were *.tgz (gzip compressed tar)
If I extract the .tgz and try to make Odin flash the .tar, it crashes.
But it just worked flashing the .tgz
(in the file browser have to look for "*" so it will be visible, its only looking for *.tar by default)

Stuck at first boot screen.

Hello. First of all: I've tried for 6 hours to figure this one out, this is my last resort, and I hope you can help me.
I've got a major problem. What happened is that I was gonna flash CM 10.1. I wiped cache and all that, flashed the CM.zip, and it failed half way. This resulted in me getting stuck where I am now.
I've found numerous guides, but the problem is, when I download the files, I dont get a .tar or md5.tar(?) file, I only get the folders, like system etc. Ive tried every link Ive found, and the same happens. No file capable of being selected in Odin.
Could any of you, please direct me to where I can download the files needed to flash via Odin? I'm really desperate and tired.

That Could be a problem with Your computer then.. When U start downloading the Firmware File what is the name that it shows while it is getting downloaded. It coudl be that there is some Software In your system that automatically extracts the file once downloaded
download a stock firmware from the development forum and try a different computer with odin
I figured out what was wrong. Winrar automatically extracted all directories. Unfortunatly, I flashed again, but rendered the device unbootable. I have no idea what happened. Will get a new one on my insurance.
Thanks for your help guys. Much appreciated.

Help unbricking L3 E400g

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this problem. I'll give you all the details I can remember.
About two days ago, I flashed the Latte rom on an E400g and something went wrong. I used the instructions for the sdmerge version (wipe all, flash step 1&2, then the rom) but when I tried booting it up, it went into an infinte loop. I read that I needed to flash an official firmware using kdz updater, but I couldn't find a working link anywhere (they are either broken of stop at the incorrect file size... the files are supposed to be about 150-160mb but they stop downloading at 2mb or 48mb for example, so I haven't even tried using them). After looking some more, I found a post on a blog that said that I could flash a stock rom and then use the PC Suite to update. So I did, but now it wont past the boot logo. Also, I can't access recovery anymore, I suppose it got deleted when I flashed the stock rom.
So now, as I understand it, my only option now is to put the phone in emergency mod (that works, already tried), and flash the official firmware using kdz updater. Problem is, as stated above, that I cant find a good link for dowload - or at least I think they aren't good because of the size of the files. What can I do, is there a working source for downloading the firmware that you know of? Or maybe someone has a firmware I can use and can upload it?
Thank you all for any help you can give me!

FULL stock 4.3 md5 or tar file NOT "Hotfile" or

I am trying to locate a full stock tar, or md5 file for the 4.3 MJA system update, not just the modem, and Hotfile seems to be the one I am always linked to, or RWilco who's download is slow as molasses, Is there a torrent file or can someone else post me another link, perhaps dev host, or another link?
Thanks
gimme a minute, I will post one on my website and you should be able to download it fairly quick. It takes about 45 minutes to upload though, so if you find one before that, you might want to download it
Here is a link, but the file is still uploading for another 10-15 min's...http://www.yourfavoritepainter.com/MJA_HOME.tar.zip
I always wonder why people upload it on those crappy sites

Why is 5.1.1 rom always "corrupt" ?

Hey guys, sorry I have been away for so long and am not updated... anyway, I have been downloading different 5.1.1 roms (samfirmware and sam updates) for my N910C and everytime I try to unzip, it says the file is corrupt...
Can anybody please tell me what has changed? Whay can't I unzip the downloaded files?
I only want the official rom, and am not rooting my phone for now.
Thanks

I recommend using Samfirm
thanks for the recommendation. My question has not been answered though, what has changed, and why do we need to use another tool now? Thanks
If you want to know the changelog for stock 5.1.1 then I strongly recommend you read it. Google is your best friend. What are you talking about another tool?
There is only one tool for Samsung to flash stock roms and it's called odin so nothing has changed there. If you are using kies to upgrade then expect the worst as the outcome seems like random events. 25% of the time kies ****s up.

I am not asking about changelog, I am asking why are the downloads from samfirmware and samsung-updates , when I try to unzip them are all corrupt.. then someone recommended the tool above to download the firmware... that is why I am asking what is changed, and why do I need a tool to download the firmware now??? Whay can't I just download straight from samfirmware and unzip the file like it was before?
BIG thanks
I had the same problem, the zip file corrupted while trying to unzip. But I just waited until WinRAR finish unzipped it. And successfully flashed the md5 with Odin.
I had the same problem with Winrar.
With 7zip no problem.
And I install the new Rom.
Everything is Ok.

No problem with WinRar here. Check your Internet Connection: if it's unstable, the file will be downloaded and even MD5 hashes could match, but the file still will be corrupted and if you manage to unzip it it could lead to multiple errors in odin.
Thanks to those who tried to help... I donwloaded the new WinRAR and donloaded the 5.1.1 "SEE" and flashed it on my phone... worked perfectly and I have not wiped my phone after flashing, seems to be working great...
