Multitouch issue

Hi,
I have a weird issue in my screen and I don't think it's hardware problem . When I click on a certain region (the media playback buttons) it registers my click as a two-points interaction rather than one .
In other words the touch test program showed that only at that part of the screen its considering my touch as two instead of one . For that it's not responding properly in certain apps like the media play back .
I think it can be fixed by touch recalibration but I don't know how to do it . do you know how to do it.
I have Samsung focus 1.3 with mango 7740.

Flashing Screen

Ever since i got the Windows 8 Developer Preview, i have noticed that my screen will randomly flash black for a split second every once and a while. Also sometimes my whole computer will freeze, then it will beep loudly, then it shows the search bar, and the date box. After a few seconds of showing that, it goes back to normal and says the driver has stopped and recovered. Anyone else experiencing this?

BUMP.
Also having this problem but my machine does not recovery, has been happening since DP and now with the RTM screen flashes and eventually completely crashes my system. Lenovo Ideacentre B500 Pentium Core2Duo Nvidia Gefore GT 300 series. 4Gig Ram.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is unusable and would love to make it the primary operating system as at the moment Im dualbooting with windows 7.

sounds like your graphics drivers are crashing, try updated drivers, you are using Release preview and not the outdated developer preview joeb?

I have use Developer Preview, Release Preview and now the RTM. All have given me the same problem, ie crashinf my PC, in RTM it was giving me the flashing screen and eventually crashing. I have updated my graphics card Geforce GT 240m to Driver version 308.82, it fixed the issue with the flashing sreen within apps but unfortunatly my pc still eventaully grinds to a hlt and crashes/locks up forcing me to do a hard restart.

Screen Flicker/Brightness Issue CNA

I recently installed CodeNameAndroid 3.6.5 and I have been using it for a while. I have this ONE problem where I disable Auto Brightness in Display Settings < Brightness. I also disabled it in the Interface (Rom Settings) < Display. There is kind of a flicker of it auto brightness where it goes up or down. It kinda looks like it is adjusting the brightness. I know this isn't a problem with the hardware because when I use stock or another Rom, it doesn't have that problem. Responses/Fixes will be appreciated!
BTW: If you're not looking where this forum category this is posted on, It is the Nexus 7 With the problem.

I have the same problem in 3.6.6 on the s3
So its definitely the ROM

ditto, same problem on SGS3, i guess its why 3.6.6 for SGS Tmobile is not a stable version. Either way ill live with it/figure something out....so its part of the rom in this case...

asus vivotab 810 driver update

Got an update through asus' update program that fixed the pen input around the edges and made blue stacks work, i haven't noticed anything else major. Just a heads up to check your updates for the new drivers.
also i used the surface pro bluestacks and it worked no problem

Do you know the ver. number?
My TF yesterday reported (through Live Update) that ver. 2.03 (size 45,4MB) is available but I was not able to install them
I have checked on Asus website but they have not been published for manual download
My MAJOR issue with TF810 is sleep mode - I can not wake up my device
It hest to reboot every single time and almost always I got info on screen (report to MS) - Your PC run into problem....

Don't know the version but the wake issue seems much better, haven't noticed it since the update

[Q] Display Brightness

Ok, So I've had my Acer A500 for quite some time now. Couple years in fact. Anyway a few months after getting it I noticed that I couldn't change the display brightness whatsoever. Also the autobrightness did nothing even tho I had tested the sensor and it came out fine. Now I don't know if this problem existed before I rooted and installed a custom rom, however no matter the rom the brightness still will not adjust. I have even taken the tablet apart and made sure the cable to the screen was seated well. I'm wondering if anyone might know if this is a hardware issue what may be causing it? or if it may be a driver/software problem.
