Hi, I just got my Atrix today and unlocked it, installed CWM and rooted the Stock ROM.
What I would like is a Motorola ROM based on Android 2.3.1 with all the fancy Motorolla stuff.
Is there one available that works for my Atrix?
It currently has:
System version: Version.4.4.20.MB860.Retail.en.DE
Android version: 2.2.2
Baseband version: N_01.95.00R
Webtop Version: OSHWT_U1_6.61.18
Some Apps (Google Music ^^) need Android 2.3
I don't want to install something that bricks my new phone.
Hi,
do you have any solution yet?
I'm facing the same problem.
Zoltan
I used HomeBase
At the moment my Atrix is at a Motorola Partner, because it had the random-reboot bug
But I think I'll install HomeBase again.
THe only problem is, that GPS shows no accuracy

Hi everyone,
I've been having a bit of a problem since I've updated my phone to Froyo. I'm having the problem where I can use my camera w/out a problem but the minute I switch over to the video recording mode, everything locks up and the phone resets on me. Has anyone encounter this issue before and if so what was the remedy. I did try to revert back to the latest 2.1 and updated to 2.2 but it still was the same problem. Thanks in advance for your time and input.
Below is a quick background on my N1:
-Unlocked boot loader and rooted the phone.
-Did run a custom rom ( before 2.2) at one point but went back to the stock rom
- No Radio has been updated from the upgrades I've done (not that i'm aware of).
- Baseband version 32.24.00.22U_4.03.00.21_2
- Kernel Version - 2.6.32.9-27227-g3c98b0d andriod [email protected]#1
- Build # FRF91
Been covered numerous times, you need to upgrade the radio.

Hi,
I recently purchased a German retail Atrix with the following SW:
- System: Version.4.4.20.MB860.Retail.en.DE
- Android: 2.2.2
- Baseband: N_01.95.00R
- Webtop: OSHWT_U1_6.61.18
- Kernel: 2.6.32.9
- Build: OLYEM_U4_4.2.0
Has anyone successfully unlocked the bootloader for this build and flashed custom ROMs? I haven't been able to find any threads related to this particular build so I'm not sure if I should try to use the IHOP method from the [Pudding] Thread.
Also, is there a stock SBF file for this particular build in case of a soft brick?
Thanks!
Aber Hallo!
I have unlocked a german (Amazon) Atrix.
Pudding works without Problems.
newest CWM Romracer
Cyanogen Mod Weekly 3 + gapps
faux123 v0.2.2 Enhanced Stock Kernel, Max @ 1.0 GHz
German 1.100 Radio.
Every Rom with Faux Unified Kernel works without Problems, at least not without more Problems than anyone else. I recommend Cyanogen Mod Weekly 3 right now.
As for the backup SBF...

[Q] Which Pudding did you use?
May you tell me which pudding files you used? I'm getting sick of not being to unlock my Phone and im stuck in a softbrick now, I hope I can get out of there with the .sbf you linked in your thread (I have the same version as the threadstarter)
Best Regards
and Merry Christmas
Hi All,
I've done literally weeks of research on this, so hopefully I've not missed any easy posts, but I want to check my approach and ask a final question. This is my daily phone, and while I know the risks and issues with custom roms, I want to get it right. Hope someone can advise.
ROM I want to install is Quarx's JB 4.1.2 CM10.
Phone I have is UK Motorola Defy (Red Lens, original):
System version: Blur_Version_2.21.0.MB525.Retail.en.GB
Model Number: MB525
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Baseband version: EPU93ST2_U_03.02.00
Kernel version: 2.6.29 [email protected] #1
My plan is:
1. Official upgrade to Froyo - it seems this is not yet done on mine, and custom ROMs require its Kernel, I read
2. Root phone - SuperOneClick
3. Titanium Backup - Needs Root
4. ClockWorkMod Recovery - Needs Root, and gives me Nandroid Backup capability in BootLoader
5. Nandroid Backup - this should provide me a route back to stock (* see question below)
6. Flash ROM - this will give me CM10 based on Jelly Bean 4.2.1
Question is, despite reading many threads, I'm still confused on CG versions and SMG file versions (CG##.smg). I do want to be able to flash back to stock after this, in case I want to sell the phone - if I flash up to Quarx's CM10 JB 4.1.2, what CG version is it and is it higher than I can possibly get back to stock from? Or can I find a Fixed SBF of a Stock ROM that will let me go back? How can I best prepare for this?
Anything else to be aware of or concerned about?
Thanks very much.
Steve.
The easiest approach is to directly flash cm10 first and check off it works(you can flash back your stock sbf if there's any problem) because CM10 WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CG VERSION
The potential problem you can face(which can not stop you from stock sbf flash) is an incompatibility of 2ndboot with your stock kernel.
If you run into that problem (which I think should not occur) you will have to flash a compatible sbf, with higher cg version and a compatible stock kernel.

Thanks - good to know CM10 has no CG version. I expected the developers to want to get rid of that kind of limitation as soon as they could!
Hmmm, so could someone confirm, that Quarx's CM10 will flash directly over the stock 2.1 Eclair ROM as listed above (with root/CWM), and doesn't need Froyo deployed as a base? That would really help if so - then I have no further considerations and I can just get on with it. I'll take it carefully and I'd rather not be faced with non-booting etc the first time round.
I believe wifi tethering doesn't work on it, though, or there's some problem with restarting regarding wifi tether. That's a shame, but maybe an app like Barnacle or OpenGarden can work instead...?
You could try it yourself by taking a Nandroid backup and if you face the non booting problem then flash stock sbf+ restore. Beware that sometimes first boot hangs or bootloops and in such cases you can fix the problem with a battery pull, or data wipe respectively
Open garden works without issues
Hit thanks!
Hello, I am new here!
I have bought an Old IDEO S7 Slim to use it as a Navigator, but I found that GPS FIX is slow or impossible. I read somewhere that there was a Rom fixing better GPS signals but I could not be able to download It.
Please I'd like to ask what ROM may I flash for this old tablet to test if Gps could fix any better. Are those ROMS on sticky thread for my tablet? Will It be possible to restore stock firmware if I do a mistake?
Thanks for your patience. At now I have:
IDEOS S7 Slim
Android: 2.2.2
Baseband: S0430
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-ideos
Build number: S7-201uV100R001C187B016
I know this should not be a big deal but I have an issue with EMUI on Android 6.0.1 on my P8: PowerAMP skins does not work on any EMUI based device over Android 6.0.1 (not just the P8).
Unfortunatelly I dont know much about ROM developments and the causes of the issue, or if there is a way to fix it. As some of you guys develop ROMs you might have a clue what cause this problem? Or could you consider it during the development of Your new ROM if it does not take much of your time?
Thanks.
I have a P8 with the latest firmware update (B382) & PowerAmp skins work fine.
Perhaps some other common app installed on both is causing the problem?
Are your phones with stock Huawei firmware, unrooted & unaltered in any way?
Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling PowerAmp?
This is my present ROM's full build number (Europe/UK): GRA-L09C432B382
EMUI version: 4.0.1
Android version: 6.0 (not 6.0.1)
