[Q] ROMs with Delayed PIN/pattern? - Nexus S General

Hi I love this feature of CM7#146< where you can delay(up to 30min) when to enter a PIN/pattern/password.
I'm having problems with CM7 is there any other ROM that has this feature?
Thanks.
I checked MIUI, GPA 17, Stock and none of them have it.

Ok, Solved.
Bought Delayed Lock from the market
+
Widget locker (optional, I already had it, nice features like ICS, Sense 3 lockscreens)
Now my security patter lock is delayed 40 minutes after I unlock the device.
Using it with Oxygen 2.3.2.

[Q] Lockring then PIN/Password/Pattern

Hello!
I currently have a Nexus 4 on the three network. I am running Android 4.2.2, rooted and with a custom rom of 3.50 Paranoid Android.
I use a pattern for my lockscreen at the moment, but was wondering something? Is there an app with lets the phone have a lockring with the apps on it and then when you swipe to unlock it, you still have to do some type of security.
Basically I want the functionality of the lock ring (open apps quickly) while sustaining the security aspect of passwords.
Thanks,
Adam

I was wondering about this too. On my old HD2 one of the CM10 (i.e. JB 4.1) ROMs had this functionality so maybe CM 10.1 has it as well. I'd wait for someone else to respond before doing anything but if you desperately need this but want to retain all the features of PA then try out the PAC ROM which may well solve your issues.
Cheers. I'll check it out now
CM 10.1 doesn't seem to have it. I'll check pacman in a few moments.
did you figure out how to do it?
Nope. I couldn't find it at all. The best I could do is have a widget locker lock screen then a pattern lock. I'm not too bothered anymore

[Q] Remove annoying notifications on lock screen? (CM 11, 4.4.2, Nova)

I just purchased a Note 3 (htlecan), and installed Cyanogen 11 (4.4.2) rom from Temasek. I also installed Nova Launcher.
I've been searching for a way to remove the notifications that appear on the lock screen on the right side, but can't seem to figure out how. I've tried disabling lock screen widgets, and it still appears. I don't have any third party lock screen apps installed, and I know it's not Nova doing it.
I'm also rooted, so more extreme methods are doable.
I'm pretty sure it's either a CM11 thing, or a Kitkat thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, here's a screenshot.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell us what app is doing it.. is it Kitkat or Cyanogen? What ROM and Android version are you running?
It must be an extra feature in Temasek's rom. I'm using the standard/official CM11 and those lockscreen notifications are not there.
Try asking Temasek directly. There's a specific thread about it in the development section.

Well I found it, and it was already disabled. Wierd..
I had to turn it on, wait for a notification, clear the notification, then turn the feature off.
Settings -> Temasek spare parts -> Screen and animations -> Lockscreen notifications

CM11S from OnePlus One compared to CM11.

Hi there, i created this thread because i would like to know (as a freind of mine just got the brand new HTC OnePlus One) if there is a way to port his rom "CM11S" to our phone as he already run CM11.
In fact, i really like the apparence of the rom, sure it's Holo launcher with kitkat status bar, but it's not exactly the same we frequently saw.
And i like the blury lockscren or the "gestures support" that when the phone is lock, just double tap the screen make the phone awake or when he's lock, simply draw a V shape and boom the torch lights up.
Or the "fast reboot" botton on the extended power menu and the CPU frequency which we can set natively.
Surely it's just some features and nothing else but for me it's just super freakin' handy.
I think i found the rom he uses : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-cyanogenmod-11s-4-4-4-int-l-att-t-t2822636
So here it is guys, i hope we can have theses features on our phone too !
Thanks !
You can port any rom if you have a base but it's easier if the port rom is the same resolution & the same cpu type otherwise it's just too much hassle
As with the features well
Tap to wake will be a kernel feature so no point in porting a rom as that won't work - it will also drain the battery
Quick reboot just use a widget instead
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siriusapplications.quickboot
You can set cpu frequency using an app like no frills cpu
Blurred lockscreen there are guides please search
As with gestures I'm guessing this is a launcher feature
You will have to find a launcher that has gesture controls or a 3rd party app that integrates gesture support
For example nova launcher supports gestures but I don't know if this is compatible with galaxy y
Nova launcher works with cm9 or cm11 galaxy y

A3 2016: Launcher sometime not showing up & poor start up performance

I just got my gf a 2016 version of the A3 but she's having problem with the performance of the device:
- after entering the pin to unlock the device, the launcher (using Google Now Launcher) did not show up. Only the wallpaper was displayed, device didn't recognize any input and only a forced reboot seemed to help.
- sometime the stock lockscreen gui seems to come up slow, almost building up the ui element by element.
Can anyone second that? Or is it a problem with this specific device she's using?
I have never seen this on mine. Maybe it's because of the Google Now Launcher.
Thanks for the reply. Is the Google Now Launcher known to have problems? Though it would be the better and more stable choice since it's the vanilla launcher. :-/

Pie & Nova launcher issue

Hello guys, I've installed the latest beta on my Note 9 running Pie.
When I'm double tapping for screen lock although it locks the device it goes to the lockscreen with the screen on.
On Oreo it locked immediately with a blank screen.
Any solution please?
I'm attaching a video for reference.

Why still on beta when official is out?
Latest stable is released almost a year ago, back in May 2018.
Also, the issue happen with both beta and stable.
Did you update nova launcher to the latest version?
I updated to Pie/OneUI using the XDA method. I'm also running Nova Launcher with no issues.

Conflict found, if I disable the intelligent scan/face or iris unlock, and leave only the fingerprint method then the double tap for screen lock work.
