OK so i updated to the gingerdx, full wipe and all, right now I have the V13 loaded. I am having an issue with the wifi timing out randomly and also I cannot install google maps with an error of -8
Any suggestions would be great.
I can not post on the official thread on GingerDx cuz of whatever reason on the development side.

Hi guys!
I am writing here in order to describe you my situation with my x8.
I had installed miniCM beta 2 and everything was OK but due to random reboots (apparently without reason, I had not ever used root apps), I had decided to reinstall 2.1 by SE, everything was OK untill I installed app2sd script for 2.1.1 through xRecovery my phone was OK but in market I cannot see in Downloads section any old apps (even if I can run them simply) but if I install them by market it recognises them and put them in the download list.
ps: i cannot download angrybirds (as well as miniCM)
help me please

There are a few market updates available that should fix this problem
The problem for random reboots maybe is for the overclocking, for the problem of the market i don't now, but if you wanna download angry birds you need format cache

(I also have a question...when I upgrade cyanogen...it changes also the radio?)

when you install a CM7 nightly then the radio isn't changed.
It install only the ROM.
Why this question about the radio version?
i thought the problem of the reboot could be the Radio...

Well, i'm experimenting some freezing issues with my Htc Legend on CM 7.03, when the wifi is on, i launch Android market (or something else... like trillian, a game etc..) in order to search apps or upgrade installed ones, after few swipes... : big freeze, then reboot.
i'm experimenting this problem since the first stable release.
I'm running LauncherPro Plus as Home Replacement, have S2E (for A2SD) and the 7.13 radio.
I would just know if someone else do have this issue too.

same problem here too.
I had the same with one of the nighlies (87). I had Go Launcher has homescreen replacement.
Running 7.0.3 with ADB there were no issues anymore!

These WiFi reboots sound similar to those in ogo2's Sense 2.3 ROM, I wonder if they're linked?
Well ogo's, rom is 97% cyanogen 7, and cyanogen 7 has had these wifi issues since they started using htc code (see post in dev section).
partial work-around
well, going back to the latest stable version of cyanogenmod (7.0.3 at this time...even though i will miss the better responsiveness of adw in the newer nightlies) and using wifi fixer is a partial work-around to this problem for m.

Has anyone any experience with wifi network, which requiers to enter user name and password, first time you open the browser? I have such case at work, and my problem is tha this first page just won't load. It works ok on my coworkers phone (nexus s). Any suggestions what can I try. I've tried with Skyfire browser and with nativ cm browser, but it doesn't work. I'm using CM 7.0.3 stable
Wifi seems to be fixed in Cyan 7.1.0 RC1 at least is is on mine.

Just got my first wlod experience on my 2.3.3 x10.
I dont really know the cause why it happened to me, im on 24% of battery then turn off the wifi thru widgetsoid then boom WLOD.
Rooted using flashtool via doomlords tutorial.
installed on my device are the ff:
Bravia engine
Xloud v2
Xrec
Widgetsoid due to xloud.
What do you think cause the wlod?

Readers please try this on widgetsoid when 25% -20% bat life try turning off/on your wifi, lets see if its the cause. (Cant do this right now im on 84%)

Have you flashed the right region ROM for your Note?
All other functions go right? Calls? Data, messaging?
Your Google account is right?

Had that same issue when i was on lp9. Moving bk to gb fixed it for me..

Hello. Since I installed omega v19 rom and up until now that I use the latest v21 I have a huge battery drain from android os and android system. Here are some pics. I've tried to do everything I think that could help. I've closed location services - wi-fi - mobile data- I've installed the omega rom with full wipe and without any extra app installed. I've done a wipe data from the recovery. And still the problem doesnt go away. It's really annoying! In 9 hours without wifi and without even open the screen, I have 74% battery.... Until i write this topic with only wifi open and brightness to 20% the battery is 68%! Please help me. Thank you in advance!

I have had similar issues. [1].
At least in my case all NF4 based ROMs (including stock) drained the battery like crazy (~20+%/h when *idle*).
The problem was solved by installing the latest CM 11 nightly (CM11M8 has CPU governor issues that causes it run @2+ Ghz during idle).
Couple with some selective Google sync configuration, I'm currently averaging ~0.8%-1.5%/h when idle.

Thank you for you response my friend. Sorry although because I dont know what cm11nightly is. I suppose from this things you said that it is somekind of cpu adjuster for the phone when the screen is off or something like this. If you have some time I would be very gratefull if you explain to me some more things about CM 11. Install-use- etc..

Sorry for the late reply.
ROM aside, I'd suggest you install some type of CPU monitoring application (E.g. BetterBattryStatus+) and see if your CPU is locked at maximum speed (>= 2Ghz). This might cause over-heating and random reboot.
I had the exact same problem. Changing from the omega kernel to stock kernel helped solve my problem
With stock kernel you have less battery drain but you still have.
