How long did you wait for? This ROM takes ages to boot (first time). You seem to be doing everything right. Just try waiting for a while, when I first booted this, I thought it wasn't booting but left it alone for a while and eventually it booted. Don't worry, the next few bootups are a lot faster.
thanks for you reply....i waited about ten mins....
I also tried to install american android last nite...it just showed a grey screen with 'powered by android'...kept the phone on all night!!!!...nothing happened
so i thought i would install a new rom...how long should i wait?.....
my radio is 2.15.50.14
i previously installed tytungs gingerbread rom and no problem installing it but i found it very unstable..
I aslo hold down the volume key and power on before installing for the first time..should i be doing this??

That shouldn't matter.
OK if you're up to it you could try installing a new Winmo custom ROM (that helped me when I kept getting FC messages on a ROM). There are plenty of guides, just HSPL and flash ROM I think.
hmmm dnt feel to confident in doing that!!!....how long should i wait when i get the htc splashscreen?

Ten minutes should be enough.
Don't worry about flashing ROMs, I'm only 14 and I could do it. As long as you follow the guides to the word you'll be fine
ok...i will give it one more try before i flash winmo and hspl...can i email u if i get stuck?...i have spl 3.03.000

becuase you got refurbished, did you use that without flashing/upgrading as it comes to you?
there is a possiblity that its already got that problem.
im sorry what do you mean? if i uprgraded the rom when i first got it? no. i got the phone i hspl from 2.10 to 2.08 HSPL everything went good, flashed NRGZs ROM and got stuck on the bootscreen, i tried a few resets until it went through but after 10min the phone shutdown and went back to the boot screen i reverted back all to stock and kept doing the same, are you saying that this will happen also in my next one that arrives? or it was just this one of bad luck that was like this?
thanks so much for your reply and anyone else that helps. thanks.
PS: i think this is my second exchange im not very sure, dont remember. but the old one flashed all perfect
I think it a nand flash issue, may be some sectors thar are being used by the cocked roms is the reason for that freez

Right then this is doing my head in.
I have a HTC Hero, so a big fan of Android.
My Wifes HD2 ive installed Android on no problem. All works fine.
Problem is she smashed the mobile up, and has had it replaced.
I did get Android running sucsefully, but on reboot just got a black screen and green HTC logo, and it just sticks. I even left it overnight.
Now evertime i install a diffrent version of Android, or a diffrent radio, and a diffrent version of Windows, its the same every time. It just will not boot.
I have tried diffrent versions of Android
4 diffrent radios
and loads of diffrent Window roms
My current set up is Radio 2.08.50.05
Android FroyoStone Sense V3.4
Widows The latest Elegance rom, sorry forgot full name.
This is the original setup, which i know works fine.
But why not now, any help please
Steve

Sorry forgot to say that, i have tried using 3 sd cards.
After some experimenting, it seems it only happens with Sense based roms.
Got a no sense Android running fine now.
Thought I've read somewhere that the Radio must be 2.10 or higher.
I myself use 2.15.50.14
Try replace the radio and se what happens...
I have same problem, tried same solutions but does not work.
black screen and green HTC logo..รง

Try one of 2 things:
Free up some memory on the SD card.
OR
The new builds come in a double folder. Rename the 1st folder "Android" and delete the second sub-folder so you only have the build's components in ONE folder. Boot it up and wait about 10 minutes. You will still see the Green HTC but it should boot into android. Let me know if this helps!!
nope still doesn't work
u got a replacement phone.. so now thats a bit tricky... did u check if u revert all the settings back to previously before the phone got damaged?
ie HSPL, winmo ROM, Radio, SD card
and formatting of SD card as well..
hope i didnt miss out anything..
same problem-black screen green htc
i did everything you recommended to previous user to no avail. Please help, would really like to have or at least get a chance to see what android is all about.
i have over 13GB of space...
my problem is when i get to the green HTC, my phone boots windows, not Android.
Hi
I am having trouble with my t-mobile htc hd2, I have gotten hspl and MAGLDR111 on it. I have tried a couple of nand and some hang on the android boot up screen, while others like Stock Leo_Desire nand gets the black screen right after i saw the unlock screen. The only nand that works for me is the NexusHD2-Froyo_V1.9a_NAND. I have also tried clockworkmod recovery but the same thing happened; either hang on android boot up screen or black screen after i see the unlock screen. Hope someone can provide me with some help.
The NexusHD2 Froyo nand works great, its just drains quite a lot of battery from the phone; have to charge at least once a day. I want also wanted to fix this problem because I want to try different nand.
I dont remember what my previous version was because i thought it was the WM version issue so I updated.
This was the WM Version that I had installed.
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_3.14.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_2_Ship
thanks.
BTW, I have tried a couple of other stock wm 6.5 roms but the same thing happened.
Same problem
I am having the same problem as you, except i havent tried NexusHD2-Froyo V1.9a NAND. Im going to try it now to see if it works.

Yea its annoying only one is working, i checked everywhere on the forums and the stock nand build said it just doesnt work on some. But if one of them works without a problem then tytung did it right. I went back to using the SD card i might go back to nand in the future.
Dear xda users,
My Girlfriend got a HD2 and I installed Android on it.
She used SD versions but she kills them everytime.
After a month the phone got stock on boot screen.
Then i tried to install NAND Roms but after 2 months of smooth running the same problem again... (example: Coredroid, and sense roms)
I think that the problem is that when the phone freeze she pull the battery out and after a few times the phone won't boot anymore.
Followed all the noob friendly guides.
Followed all the instructions in the post of every rom.
Installed the recommed radio, MAGDLR, CMW, data partions that were in the instructions
Common problem on sense roms?
Should i try to install no sense rom?
(Got experience with Desire HD flashing and Touch pro 2)

Hi,
It could be that with all the battery pulling, that the pins could be bent.
Make sure they are all straight.
Buy her an iphone, then she can't pull the battery! :-D

I don't think it's hardware related.. Because i can boot in the MAGLDR without any problems.. But when i wan't to boot android it hangs on the coredroid boot logo
(This happends with all roms (sense) i tried so far)
Boot into magldr and re run the rom from there, cleare the caches firsr ot course
Then glue the battery in - buy a tazer and promise her a double dose if she pulls the battery again
lol, hahaha

ive seen a few posts where people have struggled with getting past boot logo, think it was fine after using a different partition in recovery but as your device is for the sd build am not quite sure how that works as Ive never had sd android or if having sd requires clockwork mod recovery? if so try different partition as i said earlier if not hang on till someone has the answer

haha great answer, my girlfriend doesn't touch my hd2 or she gets alot more than a double dose with the tazer method, HD2 is not the solution for a women... you take the hd2 of her and buy her a iphone surly they are women material.
Ignore Post
Problems almost always occur after a few weeks or months of use for me, just reflash the ROM, and you'll good to go.
removing the battery is not recommended, it can corrupt files on the sd-card. Try to boot without sd-card and see if it helps. If your ROM does boot, it means the SD card is corrupted, you can try to backup the SD card and restore it after completely wiping the sd-card.
If your rom doesn't boot, than it meant there's something else going on, maybe corrupted flash, so reflash and try again. This will delete all your data, so be careful
if your girlfriend is not an daily flasher also might i suggest using a daf build. All the configuration is done for you. if you are using a sd build from magldr than make sure you change the name of the build than edit the startup txt like this "rel_path=whatever you name the build(example: "rel_path=MIUIROM nand_boot=1") the 1 for magldr 0 for windows 6.5. the reason for me saying this is all android builds create a folder android when they boot up with all your info like data and cache is in there. So its best to separate the two just in case you want to boot up more than two builds from sd.
Same here.
could be a bad block in your NAND memory. you can check this with cLK and fastboot.
see this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13600733&postcount=9
i checked mine and there was a bad block in the userdata. i think that is wy my phone was freezing.
now i have flashed cLK and untill now its working great!
I've tried 3 different roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926507
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010498
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010498
I have done everything as described in the instructions. Every time the bootscreen freeze. Coredroid was in boot loop. I have waited up to 1 hour and nothing happens. What is wrong?
I have exactly the same problem.. Tried three different ROMs with three different Radio's.

I did the following:
Installed HSPL 2.08
Installed MAGLDR
Use the DAF.exe with MAGLDR on the phone
Then I went to AD Recovery and wipe full data and Dalvik
Then I installed ROM via SD card.
I did the following:
Ran task29.exe
Installed Radio Leo 2.15.50.14
Installed MAGLDR
DAF.exe
Then I installed ROM via SD card in CWM.
Im sorry but it sounds right, what you did. all i can advice you to try ist start ALL over, first by rooting (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953)
and then just follow the instructions given on the coredroid download, they are very detailed and unless you miss a step by accident (which was what i did) it should work.
and dont forget to give the first boot some time, it may take up to 15 minutes (sometimes even longer) but dont worry its just the first one!
good luck, and if you try please post the results, hd2 has left me down woth a few rooms a couple of times but in the end it always worked, even if it took many reflashes!!

I have a freeze problem with my wildfire, a little help would be appreciated.
I installed cyanogenmod 7 and everything was working fine untill I restord all data (for cotacts and apps) using clockworkmode. After data recovery the phone freezes on boot.
Can someone tell me if I did something wrong or a method to get pass the freeze?.
I downgraded back to stock ROM but I really want to use Cyanogenmod.
