My dear xda-dev friends,
I am so grateful for this community, I have gained so much. I have been a digital artist for years, so as one way of giving back, I have made a set of themes from my digital art. I am offering them exclusively to my friends here. I retain copyrights for all the images, so please respect that, and use only for your own private use, I.e. No sale or redistribution. There are 13 tsk files, so you can have one for each lunar month. :wink: All are less than 200K, but only one is less than 100K. For other Oz-Vga users out there, you need to change themes in SE-Vga for it to look right in Oz-Vga, because otherwise you just get a small image and not the full screen image. (You do see more of the image with Oz-Vga by the way.) I hope these may add to someone else's enjoyment of their Universal. I use them myself of course. I have some screenshots that I wanted to post, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I saw that some folks did this by putting their picture files in http://forum.xda-developers.com/files/
but I don't know how you upload files there so you can link them in your message. Please tell me how, and I'll be happy to post some screenshots here.
And now included here is a zip file with 13 screenshots so you can look and choose without loading them all into the precious storage memory. Most show the theme in SEVga, though some may well look better in OzVga.
I'm trying to make a good FTP with the biggest list of software for PPC available in just one single place if someone want to contribute it is welcome to send me some more good software to include please be sure that all files includes credits and read me files if needed and all the files needed to get the software working right. All the software up today I have personally tested in My Sprint Mogul PPC 6800 and works really nice...

Every one now can upload please note that the FTP has 2 folder and one is called Upload before upload please select the upload file and the upload to that folder please do not upload the the HTC mod because that is my personal backup too thanks and Happy upload and Download...
I have seen that people started to upload some nice files Thanks everyone for the support... and helping me to make a all in one stop to have all applications we all want for ours PPC
NOTE: Please Don't Upload Warez The main idea it is to have people that is developing software and need Beta testers or any nice Freeware application Thanks....

personally i'd like to see a cvs/svn repository for all existing projects to run off

i have tried to download a couple of files and they tell me i need a password. not sure why when i uploaded files it did not ask for a password. so im not sure whats going on but i would like to say that i was the one who posted among other things the vga htc album and the one with a folder option. but i am not uploading anymore files if i am unable to download files

To my friend irus I'm very Sorry about the password my mistake in the rights at the FTP now I solved the problem please re tray downloading!.... and for Esfrost I'm not all the time in my PC I have family a Job and many things to do that is why I made a space for everyone to share I cant control fully what people upload but if you don like it don't use It or I will close it if it is a big problem!

Hi all!
About a year ago I'd created this Flash application at the request of a few colleagues around the office. Couple weeks back I stumbled across the source files on my home PC and thought it'd be a funny idea to tweak it into a Pocket PC friendly app that anyone could use on-the-go to create some funny office-speak.
The current version supports two "modes". One to create random or custom-crafted phrases, the other to randomly generate full sentences of corporate jargon with a rolling history that you can peruse. The phrase mode allows you to randomly swap out verbs, adjectives and nouns independently.. or to specify a custom noun of your choice.
The app uses an XML file as a word database, so you can easily add or change the pre-supplied words and phrases!
I do plan to add a few more features to it in the near future, as well as make the interface slightly more finger-friendly. It works pretty well now but the performance could use some tweaking (animations get a little choppy at times).
So, hopefully some of you can have some fun with this. Its been a riot around my office so far and a few of the guys have put it on their phones to fool around with in meetings
Install is easy, open the zip file, copy folder to device, run SWF file. Flash Lite 2.1 is the only requirement. It should support all standard resolution configurations (elements should reposition themselves based on screen size/orientation) as well as both touch and non-touch screen devices.
If anyone has any issues running it, please let me know and I will try to fix it
Oh yeah, you can run this in a regular Flash player on your desktop as well in case anyone wants to fire it up there instead.

Hi, Well I have finally got round to finishing enough of this application to give you a version. Unfortunately all the features I wanted to release are not there but its close enough. Future versions will incorporate these.
This application is basically a sound board with the ability to add user created content.
As before, requires .Net 3.5 CF.
The sample sound themes included in the application are a little weak and could do with some extra ones being created. Post your creations in the thread please
There are two types of themes available, a button theme and an image theme.
The button theme uses positionable windows image buttons to play the sounds.
The image theme uses an image to play the sounds. So for example you would have 2 images one for the background on the application for the user to see and one for the application to use. The overlay image will contain a single block of colour where you want to place a button, this colour is then indexed in the themes XML file. So when you press down on the background the colours are matched and the matching sound played.
The best way to get to grips with the themes is to look at two of the themes I have provided. The XML files are fully commented and quite simple to understand.
Example of ButtonTheme, \content\Roy Walker\RoyWalker.xml
Example of Imagetheme, \content\Mr T\MRT.xml
I am sure there will be bugs, but I wanted to get a release out as soon as possible to get some user created content. Please post any creations on this thread and I will include them in the .cab file with the next version.
Any feedback or suggestions please post on this thread also.

Options to save last theme and other stuff
visual feedback on an Imagetheme button press, perhaps a greying of an area (Simple but havent had the time)

Attached are a few screenshots of my bad attempts at themes.
The "wrong" button sound effect is not from catchphrase, but from Family Fortunes. As far as I remember, they didn't have a sound for that. Roy Walker simply said "It's a good guess but it's not right", which for me beeged the question, how is it a good guess then? Anyway, I'm not fussy. It's a great, useless, fun little program. We need more of these!!

Yeah you are right, I was just being lazy! But ah well, hopefully myself or someone else will create a family fortunes theme for it.

I there, a have been searching for a while for an application that a could use to make something like the iphone idrummer (because of the daft punk kits) since i dont know how to make one, just modify them.
So here are my versions of Daft Punk "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" and "Aerodynamic". Just ad the files to the content file of the application and select them on the application and you are ready to go.
The thing is, they were made for QVGA version (240x320), so for other screen dimensions just modify the size of the background images and buttons, and coordinates also.
Hope you enjoy them (sorry for my possible bad english)
Anyway thanks to the creator of the application, and if anyone could make a new application more suited for a possible version of idrummer for those that dont have a iphone its always welcome

I have this problem where I am never pleased with anything I do, so I keep trying to improve it and improve it even further. The time has come.
I have been coding the new features for my website (www.touch-innovation.com) and here is the list I have thought of and has users suggest via email:
- Live submit (Submit directly onto the site... instantly. With lots of security though )
- Screenshots on category lists
- Download names instead of random hash.
- Add comments to news sections
- And lots of admin panel updates which you don't need to know about
Another thing is, what do you think of the design. Does it need a re-design? Does it need to be minimilsed or what not?
Help me out come on, throw me some ideas!

Because people have complained about the fixed backgrounds on the left and right. I was thinking of making them a bit thinner to make more room for content and shiz.

Anyone with a decent knowledge of php drop me a line. I'm having problems editing filenames on the fly (sounds easier than it is trust me, complex scenario).
The one and only thing I'd like to see changed? Not use javascript when clicking on applications to take you to their detail page. I get annoyed when I can't open it in another tab
It only uses javascript for the onhover effect and to make the whole td a link. If you want to open it in the new tab, just right click on the name (which is a hard link, for people without javacript).
It's been like this since first release, I did it just incase of no javascript

I guess I need more specifics, but a nice little loop with the function rename() should do the trick. I am sure you have looked at some resources, but the php.net site is great, here is rename with tons of good examples, some of which I have used in the past:

Thanks, rename isn't on the fly though. I'd have to rename it, then let the user download it... wait till the user has downloaded it, and then rename it back. And what hapens if someone else trys to download it in the proccess of this, they'll get a 404 for the file. I'd have to copy to a new location and do it that way. No point, I need on the fly not permanent. Normally I would use the rename function but it's not helpfull in this sutation.
I just need to play with the headers for a while and get them working .

hell yeah, I know that feeling...I´m never pleased with my designs as well
And no, it doesnt need a major refresh yet but try to make the background a bit lighter so the whole site gets a bit more contrast. Just lighten up the background by 10-20% or so and show us what it would look like
And tell me if I´m wrong...but "Touch friendly programs for the windows mobile" sounds extremly strange, what about leaving the "the" out ?

I didn't understand what you needed, and I think now I do, you want to change the name as someone is downloading a file correct? If so, check this sample out, modify the header section as needed, ie this line:
header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"$file\"");
you could do any type of processing on the name you need, then just pass the string like above. Here is the link to the rest:

I've been looking into the disposition header for a while, but the way I currrently download files is quite simple but to interlock these 2 things togeather is complex. Especially considering I will need to do checking, exploding (for the file extension) and redirecting if it's not hosted on the server. I make things too complicated lol.

I love your Site. In my opinion : it doesn't need any re-design.
But i do have one suggestion : it would great to have your tables with worting features.... One could just click on the title of one column and it would be sorted.... Understand what i mean ?
