i flash my 32a with sappimg.nbh, and i cant go to recovery mode. fastboot only, the problem is, i cant go to recovery mode, only bootloader or fastboot, but i cant flash any recovery.img or something. i dont know why, sorry im a little noob. i dont know what to do. experts please help me. i cant create a goldcard bcos i cant access my phone.
Download my fastboot commander from my signature and provide all device info.
i already try that fastboot commander. but my phone was on S-on. it always fail when im trying to boot or flash on my phone.

*cpld 12 tells me that this device is pure 32A. Good
*2.33.19.26i radio tells me that you tried to flash using a goldcard, but you flashed the wrong sappimg.zip/ruu file.
* 1.33.0006 spl same as radio.
*3.04.401.2 tells me tha you tried to flash HTC Austria test-signed ruu, but that did not succeed.
The fix:

Rename the first file to sappimg.zip and flash it using the goldcard. It willl restart by itself. Do the same for second file.
Once all done, start the device and you shall see the android system starting up. From there you follow my guide found in my signature. Once done with rooting, custom recovery and perhaps eng spl, you can flash whatever rom you like from development section.

all i have done is first root then updated to SPL 1.33.2010 then i updated the radio to 6.35 and bam i got the problem my phone keep rebooting and i when i try to update the ROM i got an error msg =

You have flashed the wrong spl/radio combo.
You need to go into fastboot... hold "back"-button together with "power"-button... do you see fastboot screen?

JUST FLASH USING THE TOOL... PUSH "Flash old".

OK... YOU STILL HAVE WRONGE SPL/RADIO COMBO.
Fix it like this: READ CAREFULLY.
Flash ONLY the spl using the tool.
Use the BLUE box and push "SPL".
Navigate to the "imgfiles" folder.
Use the one tagged "NewSPL" having this nr: 1.76.2007
Push "Flash SPL".
Using the BLACK box push "Reboot device".
Wait for the device to reboot.
Push "Clear text" (found under all the text).
Using the YELLOW box push "Print device info".
Copy the text to right(a.k.a. the log) and post it here.

If you are going to play around always use the tool to change between old and new radio.
Just push "Flash new" or "Flash old" to change between the 2 radios.

Has a microchip with a circle and x through it on the bottom.
I am not clear what happened. I had flashed to this radio and had a eng hboot and Couldn't get recovery to work. So I used the flash tool and flashed the old radio the old hboot and the old recovery back on, and it booted into recovery. Still couldn't flash with out new Radio so I flashed back everything, than it wouldn't boot into recovery so I tried to flash back radio and put a stock rom on it, all the sudden it wouldn't flash the radio or anything so I tried to update with and a tmobile ruu and it got stuck at this screen I cant get out of it.
HELP PLEASE!

Ok... here it goes.
Download these to begin with while you READ (if you not already downloaded them from above post).

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ EVERYTHING I WRITE.
The problem is: the device has conflicting spl and radio combo. The spl has an idea of where the radio should be and how big it is ect. When they are not matching the flash of a new radio will most likely fail.
To fix this problem, we need to flash a spl compatible with the 6.35 radio.
But the problem lies in the following. All the RUU/sappimg with a spl compatible with the 6.35 radio has a higher version than yours(starts with 3 something). If we update the version, we cannot flash the desired sappimg which follows. The goldcard will only update up in verion nr, NOT down.
Here comes the trick: I have found a special rom, which is part of a 2-part update which will not update your version nr...
Once the spl is updated and the system restarted, we can now flash any ruu we want using the goldcard. I recommend to flash one with a eng spl inbuilt like the 2.53.707.2 sappimg. But if the device would not accept that sappimg(don't ask me why), try the 2.10.531.4.zip which is the same version nr as you have now.
The steps to follow:
1) Read and understand the above.
2) Rename special_sappimg.zip to sappimg.zip
3) Make sure that you have a working goldcard and flash the sappimg.zip
4) Once the device has rebooted, you should rename the 2.53.707.2_-_sappimg.zip to sappimg.zip and flash it using the goldcard. This image should give you an eng spl. If you device will not accept it, then rename the other rom to sappimg.zip and flash it using the goldcard.
5) If you indeed get the eng spl, then you have full control and we can do almost anything we want. Just post here and we can take it from there. The eng spl has the following nr: 1.33.2010.
If you flashed the stock rom, then you only need to flash custom recovery and you should almost be there... also here post the progress and we will take it from there.
Hope that you will succeed... :0)

Then i tried to reinstall the rogers update RUU_Sapphire_Rogers_WWE_3.05.631.7_R_release_signed_NoDriver
which fails with error 160 bootloader
please help I cant even boot into recovery, it hangs in few secs or just reboots. Fastboot works but cant push a recovery image on as it fails i guess cos of S ON

CM6 needs old radio/spl combo which you don't have.
For the second problem, i need to check you cid number.

Use the "Full zip" tab and flash the downloaded zip file.
Follow the progress on the screen.
It should flash you back to stock.

doesnt work. picks the file uploads and then says checking .... and then goes back to the hboot screen without doing anything.
Check the name again...
sappimg.zip ( and not .zip.zip)
the filename is correct. only one .zip
Are there alternate sappimg versions, maybe a newer one with higher version number will work.
I was trying other sappimg files and there i use to get error, main version older.
the rom on it is 3.54.631.3
3.05.631.7 update is divided in two parts.

The first part will flash spl, recovery and radio..
The second will flash the rest.
Rename them one by one and flash them respectively.
Just as you did with the other update.
If this does not work, then you have (maybe) a malfunctioning device.
For both the files I get the message "Main version is older"

i gust need you to know , i have surfed the web looking for solution but never worked for me , my phone is T-Mobile mytouch 3G W/3.5 mm Jack

I'd like to update to a newer Android Version. So as I read I have to flash a new recovery first. I tried to create a gold card in order to flash this new recovery but I still get an error when I use fastboot.

You said you have a Goldcard already, right?
Also, only do this if your Magic is a 32B. If it's a 32A, you're bricked for life (and I'm not responsible). It says on the fastboot screen which you are.
If it is a 32B, get the first download from the NBH/ZIP section of this thread <a href=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=548218>here</a> (Make sure to read the warnings at the top) and put it on your normal SD card.
Then, boot into HBOOT mode by either
1. Booting into Fastboot mode and pushing volume down.
2. Booting phone with volume down pressed.
It should find the sappimg after a minute. If not, make sure the sappimg is on the SD card not in any folders and also that it's named SAPPIMG.zip.
Choose yes to all the questions. If it has an error, reboot and try again or try it on a Goldcard.
Now fastboot should work and you can do whatever.

Also, only do this if your Magic is a 32B. If it's a 32A, you're bricked for life (and I'm not responsible). It says on the fastboot screen which you are.

im having a similar problem i get stuck at the mytouch 3g screen then it try's to reboot

1.33.0013 is perfected SPL, remote commands are disabled in this hboot.
If you have custom recovery (AmonRa or Clockworkmod), then you are lucky.
If not, then you must install official ROM: 3.12.531.1 T-Mobile USA FRG83D

After that, you can root phone with SuperOneClick, then install custom recovery, and custom rom (via custom recovery)
I already rooted using superone click but my phone wont boot after I tried to flash a rom how do I get it to boot up and work again I'm freaking out oh an I have clockwork recorvery image that's how I tried to flash the rom but i dont have a goldcard can i still use the same method can u give me a walk through or is there a way using clockwork mod

If you have custom recovery - just flash custom rom via it.
P.s. but choose appropriate rom (with tags 32b)
