Yes. - bad coding. Uninstall it and there will be no problems I don't think that you should post questions like this in this forum. Post to FF developers. Phone have NOTHING to do with slowing down. it's code or dumb user

Well...Windows Live Messenger ...what else?!
I get so many emails and PMs and ICQ pagers...wow.
Slow down people, i like to be popular, but this is like program paparrazzi.
Just kidding.
I decided to host the file so you can grab it online. Otherwise i cannot cope with all the requests.
Its both for WM and Smartphone devices. (as far i know, dont have SPh)

I dont actually know if its appropriate or legal to post this.
So if the Mods mind, just take it off again and PM me.

Man what a pile of rubbish!
Very large for a PPC app, uses up most of your Today screen, didn't work properly on my Hermes (messenger would never close - soft reset). There was no problem with the installation on a clean device.
I uninstalled it and have got 'Windows Live:33 Unread' messages, stuck on my Today screen. The account is gone but it hasn't cleared it from the Today screen. Tried everything short of hard reset.
Just use the Web version - nothing on your device!
Yepp...i agree...gloggs up your system. I find my hermes slow enough and not responsive as it is.
I had this running 2 times (first time was messed up)on my device, but didnt like it. A pure messenger version without all the live crap is much more useful.
But hey, we dont have to be available in any IM program ALL the time.
I end up with people asking me "i tried to reach you! where were you?" if i choose not to be on or have me phone switched off.
I remember the good old times, where, when someone didnt pick up the phone, he wasnt available and it was ok. Ahhh...so peaceful.
@all:
Even though i agree with esseff and do NOT recommend using it, i posted it, so people can try it without having to wait for me to respond/send.

If this is not what you are looking for, or the zip doesnt contain the version you need, i cant help you. The other, older versions, i deleted.
My ppc software folder is like 5GB big...so i dont want to keep older versions.
Sorry
Sorry if Ive posted this is the wrong place peeps,i have tried to do a search but couldn't find anything.
Basically i have flashed up to WM 6 and when i try and load forum pages like this one i cant use the reply box. There seems to be some problem with the way the page is displaying and I.E doesn't seem to understand that the box is click able for text addition.
Is there something i should install so the page presents correctly?
Sorry if this has been asked before I'm a relative noob to all this, mod please feel free to move if its in the wrong place.
Many thanks in advance.Tony
Are you logged in to the forum from your PDA?
Sure the thread isn't locked?
Have you tried desktop view in PocketIE?
Or, try Opera or another Explorer.
Unfortunately, for a PDA / smartphone forum, XDA-developers really isn't mobile viewer friendly. I sometimes view the forum through Google so it gets converted to a less cluttered format.
Thanks for your reply Hyperbaric,i have this prob with a few different forums.I have tried Opera browser last night and it was fine.Shame Ive now got to buy a browser as the I.E one doesn't display all pages correctly.
Thanks again Tony
I'm using WM5 at the moment and it's fine. Did this only start on WM6?
Mike
Hi Mike
Thinking back yes im sure it was fine when using WM5,im using the latest LVSW rom 3.3.09,at least it was the newest rom last week unless a new one is out lol.
Many thanks for your input.Tony

I'm wondering if it's possible to download iPhone application and have them installed and run on a windows mobile?
I have searched the internet on this subject and can't find an answer, unless I'm not searching hard enough is it possible and how to do so?
Thank-you for your time and support.

Can someone tell me what is the best application for news on the HTC HD2?
It is best if it can update news in real times on the homepage with compatible font for the HD2 screen.
I look but cannot find such program thus it would be great if someone can help? Thank in advance.

I don't know if it's the best but you might check out the AP News app. It's free and very easy to find. on the Microsoft Marketplace.

I have been using it for a while now. I like it a lot. Another thing you might want to try is some rss reader app.
Decided to look on the Marketplace and cannot find that AP News app on the UK Marketplace.
Is there anything else that is suitable or am I being useless in my ability to find it on the MS MP?

snaptu has a few news channels on it not very consise & not totally utd but for a basic news feed try this
i have not come across any winmo rss reader that is even close to what you get for the iphone or android devices (i have an iphone 3gs, nexus one, samsung i8910, archos 5IT and motorola milestone - and i consume news from all these devices depending on which one is the closest!).
anyway, after having tried multiple apps on various platforms, i find myself returning to google reader's mobile version.
i would suggest you set up your feeds one-time in google reader using a desktop, and then from your phone access the mobile version located at google.com/reader/i (note the "i" at the end of the string).
you can use opera 10 - the formatting is a bit off, but the headlines wrap properly. you could also try skyfire.
if you consume lot of feeds, you will love the way stories expand in place, and flicking down takes you to more headlines. this vertical approach is much faster and elegant than the horizontal approach implemented by dedicated rss apps. those apps take you to the story in a new window and then you have to retract back to get to the list. you are always backing in and out, rather than flicking downwards seamlessly...

I have tried Daily News and AP News app and gotta say Daily News was better - until I found Yomo Media... Take a look at it...

BTW - you want to install OMarket as well as it stores about 500 free apps for WinMo devices....
More devs should start developing apps with the ManilaSDK. It is pretty much aweseome, and makes us able to create state of the art apps for the, in my oppinion best mobile plattform!
Freewarepocketpc.net is an awesome plattform to share the products!
hello all I have question about android on htc blackstone am say is so that when I install an application from the browser displays something like that to me as shown below:
Where and which file need to edit the Android Market HTC Blackstone identified as a device which has been ported to android? [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release
This app is incompatible with your Device
Oy. You PM me, then ask this same question - without responding to my PM?

What apps are you trying to download? I've never got that message, unless I was trying to download some game - which obviously a TON of the games won't work because of the old hardware... So even if you did force it, the game wouldn't work lol.

Send pictures to a server..?
I just asked what apps you're trying to install that give you this error. As I stated previously, I've never seen this message except when trying to install some games...which probably won't run anyways.

What the heck dude, I asked what apps you're trying to install, so you post some screen shots of the Market?!?
I'm only going to ask this one more time.
Which apps are you trying to install, that give you the error message?
Also, have you tried installing them from the phone itself? Not thru the Market on your PC...
I have not tried to install on your phone just by the android market is easier for me than finding application using the application on your phone

LOL.
Please try from the phone.
The phone is ok that I wanted it so much better, and what to do to the visibility of BT telephone communication was different than MSN?
