Making and Receiving Calsl Sometimes on Speakerphone?! - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

I have had this problem for the past week... sometimes (appears to be random) when I make or receive a call.. it automatically starts with the speaker on.. and it's annoying me.
I even upgraded to B136 from B133 and I am having the same problem! I don't know why. I even installed an app called Speakerphone which is supposed to enable / disable this and it still doesnt work.. sometimes it still comes on by default.
Anybody knows why this is happening? I did look around but nobody seems to have actually fixed this.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry nobody uses stock roms so there is little help here Stock roms sucks big time.

JASJAR Crashes on some incoming calls

I thought this was only a ROM issue as I was using a ROM that seemed to have many problems with it other than this, but when I changed to another ROM, the problem still persists.
The problem is that sometimes when I get incoming calls, the phone will just vibrate and crash with no backlight on the screen and only showing the Incoming Call bubble with the caller ID in it. I'm not exactly sure what the people calling receive, I think they just get silence, no ringing tone at all.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if it's just me.
I also have this once in a while. Mostly, when I didn't reboot my Qtek for several days. The device freezes displaying the Incoming call bubble and it keeps vibrating until I reset it. I guess the caller gets the busy signal or gets re-routed to voicemail.
Cheers,

flash light switches on unwanted

I have a weird bug on my wizard. like the title says, the flash light just switches on randomly. luckily only at a very low level, but still, its an unwanted powerdrain. I can switch it off again by starting the camera and switching the flash on and then off again. I had this using NBD 8.1, also after reflashing it with that, and also with the latest TNT ROM. Is this a known problem? I have never managed to find any information on it.
another problem is that i was missing calls, which could be solved now by using the TNT rom. but the problem was that my phone would seem to work just fine, i could make outgoing calls, but i was missing incoming calls. the phone wouldn't ring, it wouldn't show any missed calls and the other party wouldn't notice anything wrong either, it would just give the normal tones when you ring people. Is this a radio ROM problem? It seems to have started when i moved to the netherlands, i think it was never a problem when i lived in germany.

Incoming call delayed connection?

I didn't see any reports of this here or elsewhere but I'm having some mixed problems with connecting to incoming phone calls. Sometimes there's a ~5 sec delay before I can hear the other party or they can hear me. Just total silence.
This happens whether the phone is locked (stock slider) or unlocked. I don't see anything odd running and the delay seems independent of applications such as waze or whatever running in the background. Maybe it's a CDMA thing but I had a similar problem with my old vogue a while back with a rom I had flashed and I seem to recall it was a "known" issue and subsequently was fixed soon after.
Any suggestions? I'd really rather not have to re-build the phone today...
Thanks!
Bill
I've noticed the same thing, as well as sometimes I am unable to answer the call at all. For me, it seems more prevelant when the stock slider tries to answer. Hopefully someone knows the solution because I've Googled this and haven't seen anything yet.

Me too! When I installed PointUI (android theme), It's run very good and smooth. But I don't like it. I uninstalled PointUI then I can hear the sound when have an incoming call.
I don't know how to fix this. I installed shipped Rom and now ok

Has anyone found a way to fix sms notification problem?

When i receive an sms, sometimes, it will vibrate when i'm on vibrate mode. sometimes it will ring when i'm on normal mode. so there are times when it wont vibrate or ring. and also, the LED notification onli works when i switch off standby mode. whats up with that? is there a way to fix these bugs?
Not at the moment. I too am hoping for a fix, but SE have not announced anything else since MR2 so I think thats it unless someone who is a good coder or good with reg editing can figure out how to do it

The only thing I did was to use short sms ringtone
so everytime I get sms I hear the sound.
i tried that but doesnt always work when in vibrate mode. it will just randomly stop vibrating when a text is recieved. have to soft reset to get it working again.
huh. man. it still has loads of problems. theres also the video playback. anybody getting the issue? it doesnt run smoothly.

speakerphone and in call issues

Hi.
Im using the NotSoStock Rom. I know its an old, no longer supported rom. but i need notifications, so i needed a stock rom so the second screen would work. granted an led light would be prefered, but i was too stupid to think about that before buying lol.
Anyway, so on this rom there are some really weird, annoying things going on. First, the speakerphone. Now, when playing music or a video the speaker sounds fine (loud enough for me anyway). But when im on a call and use speakerphone, there is literally NO difference. I dont hear the person louder AT ALL. I can only assume its in this rom and not a problem with the phone itself.
Also, and this is probably even more annoying. When i make a call, i cant do anything else. I cant hit the home button, pulldown menu, etc. nothing else works. So say im on a call with someone and they reference a text from earlier. I cant back out of the in call screen to open the text app and see the message. This is a major issue for me.
Maybe i need another rom. But i havent seen much in the way of stock roms for vs995. any help would be greatly appreciated. tia
