No, from unbricked I installed HSPL and then started following this guide , but now not starting up after I ran ROMUpdateUtility.exe .
Tried:
========
1. Installing Original HTC ROM from their site: the windows application cannot talk to the phone.
2. Running again ROMUpdateUtility.exe : again cannot talk to the device over USB to load "whatever is loading". Just freezed on 0% with HTC logo in black background.
Guide I was following:
=================
Installation Guide for MAGLDR 1.13:
Flash MAGLDR
Download MAGLDR 1.13 (606 KB)
Enter SPL by holding VOL DOWN key while booting the phone. (Make sure you have HSPL.)
Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe to flash MAGLDR 1.13 (magldr.nbh).
Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
Download MAGLDR_CWM_Recovery_v3.2.0.0_for_NexusHD2_135M.zip (5.0 MB)
Enter MAGLDR 1.13 by holding power key while booting the phone, and then select "USB Flasher" via "VolUp" and "VolDown". Confirm key is green "Call" button.
Run DAF.exe to flash ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.0 (recovery_3.2.0.0_leo.img).
Flash Android ROM
Enter ClockworkMod Recovery when you're on MAGLDR 1.13 (hold "Power" button during boot) and select "AD Recovery" or "Boot AD SD" (if ever copied CWM's initrd.gz and zImage to SD).
Flash NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V3.0_NAND_(Android-2.3.5).zip (85.04 MB)
Flash by to Stock WM ROM.
Find your stock rom, according to your version of HD2 ( Euro or tmobile ). Extract the .exe file to get to the .nbh. Then you must rename the image to "LEOIMG.nbh", since this is the only recognized file name the bootloader will accept. (note: Some people are reporting that the file name must be capitalized, or it will not work. When named exactly as above, it has always worked for me!)
Place the LEOIMG.nbh on a 8GB or smaller microSD card.
Remove the battery cover and press the Reset button.
Hold the Volume Down and End Call (power) buttons at the same time.
As soon as "Searching..." appears on the screen, release the Volume Down button.
ROM will flash. Be sure to hard-reset afterwards to prevent weird errors (as usual).
Remember, the above method will get your phone back to STOCK WM ROM. From there you can retry to install MAGLDR or cLK.

Hey,
It will not display "searching" when I power it on holding Volume Down and End Call.
Instead it the four colour background ( red , green , blue , white )and reads "Serial" at the white band.
The info in the red band reads:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(Touch 0x40
It is the Euro HD2 phone and I copied to the SD the ROM from htc.com
ROM Version:
Norway: 3.14.409.2, Spain: 3.14.412.2, Portugal: 3.14.410.2, France: 3.14.406.2, Sweden: 3.14.413.2, English: 3.14.405.2

I was trying to follow these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
I got as far as installing MAGLDR. When the phone restarted itself, it will not go passed the O2 welcome screen.
A hard reset (VolUp + VolDown + power) doesn't work.
If I hold vol down while I power it up it goes to the Red,Green,Blue,White screen where it says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
Can someone please advise me what, if anything I can do to get my phone working again?
Thanks.
no u are not bricked just reflash magdlr when its in the tri color screen vol down + power next time post in questions forums
Turn off phone by taking out battery and put it in
Then hold down vol down and then press off/end call button
should take you to coloured screen then connect to computer and it should say usb at bottom
then download the htc hd2 software off the htc site then flash the original software and should be back to normal
every nand build i test i do the following...
1. task 29
1b. flash radio
2. magldr
3. nand build
Are you holding end button while booting? that'll take you to magldr menu.
if it doesn't, then don't fear yet, cuz it's not bricked. Bircked is when you can't even turn it on, or it doesn't boot, or something like that. You can't even enter the rainbow screen when it's bricked.

It's cool that you're trying to help but this is how people brick their phones. It's obvious, from him posting on here, that he's panicking. He'll go to htc site and just download any official rom and if he has a tmousa hd2 he's bricked it now. Not saying he does but you have to be specific with people around here. You'd be surprise how many complete newbs are on here who Just refuse to bother searching and reading

listen just download a official rom from hd rom development
and then extract the file with 7z or winrar
you will see a nbh file
change it to as follows leoimg.nbh
place it on any empty micro sd card and insert it into the phone
and then restart with holding vol down
after the tricolor screen you will see a grey screen with options for updating your rom
just follow the instructions and you will install a new wm6 rom
after that follow the video and the instructions for the noobs on the hd2 nand rom development section ,download the video and follow it as it says you will be fine.
i have been through this and this is what i did and i am with gauners hd nand version on my hd2 running perfectly

There are a few methods to fix your problem actually,
Restore back to Factory Default with Official HTC firmware
Download Official HTC HD2 O2 firmware
Extract RUU_signed.nbh from the EXE file using 7-zip
Rename RUU_signed.nbh to leoimg.nbh and copy to the root directory of SD Card that is formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 and insert it into device
Power off your device
Hold onto the Volume Down Button and Power up the device
The bootloader will auto detect the leoimg.nbh file, and will start restoring back to default. This will restore your SPL, RADIO and FIRMWARE.
RED/GREEN/BLUE method
Power down the device
Hold Volume Down button and Power up the device
You will then see the RED/GREEN/BLUE screen
Connect the device via USB to your Computer
Wait for RED/GREEN/BLUE screen to show USB on the bottom instead of SERIAL
Run RADIO Upgrade (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 2.10.50 and ABOVE)
I am GUESSING, your RADIO version is incorrect, causing it to loop.
You must use HSPL 2.08
You must use RADIO version that supports 576mb of RAM
Radio Thread
Incidentally, you can also reflash the firmware to any WINMO custom or official firmware while in RED/GREEN/BLUE screen as long as the bottom says USB and the device is really connected to the computer via USB. It might overwrite MAGLDR, and it might boot back into the official or custom firmware.
xcesivemastub8ah, both method works, again, help is "FREELY" provided to people who are willing to take the advise. People need to understand, if they tinker with something, they can and will tinker it to death. If you don't want to brick it, don't mess with it, use it as intended by the manufacturers, stock original.
No bootloader !!!!

I tried these two methods.
And what can i do if i can't enter in bootloader mode : it only reboot on bios (i think it is) and magldr.
I can't have a hard reset neither.
Radio : 2.15.5014
Hspl : 2.08
Fixed. Thanks for the help
Thank you all very much for the help and advice.
I did what was suggested and plugged it in while on tri colour screen, flashed the rom and phone is perfect again.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Next time I'll post in the questions section.
I was using the instructions found for flashing Android NAND to the HD2.
After all the steps I found that it would hang in the boot splash screen on any NAND rom I flashed. Decided to go back to some win rom and got stuck, because the SPL (tri colour screen) is no longer accessible.
Phone is off
Hold down Volume Down.
Press power button briefly...
Result: Booting to MAGLDR menu screen..
Anyone have any solution? I found many others with the same problem.
Someone help us recover our expensive bricks.
This is getting worrying as more users are starting to have the same problems. I've seen about 4 over the past day. Perhaps you guys need to get together and try to figure out if there's some common denominator as to why this is happening.
What i have seen in the past months is that there are huge diferences in behavior and hardware/software compatability between HD2's and it doesnt matter if euro or US... this might be a bigger problem for certain batches...

1- pull your battery out and get it back again
2- hold on vol down while u push power button......u will enter bootloder (spl 2.08 )
3- install radio again i recommended 2.15.50
after radio your phone will restart into MAGLDR menu screen......or after radio install 100% do step 2 again to enter spl again and flash your win
4- you will be happy that your HD is good
(please first follow above steps and feed me back )
This sounds like a kernel issue with magldr... just for kicks though, did you do a hard reset?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
I have also followed the installation desciption.
It all installs without any problem, but after installing magldr the menu never appears.
I used stock ROM 1.66 with radio 2.06.51.07.
Then I ran HSPL3_PKG.exe
After that ROMUpdateUtility.exe from the MAGLDR111.
The HD2 reloaded but never entered the bootloader menu!
Pressing power button for a long time does not change that.
Only the HTC logo is displayed.
Anyone an idea?

Me too,
I have the MAGLDR 111 and my HTC HD2: T8585.
Now I can't start bootloader and alway booting to MAGLDR.
Is my hd2 bricked ?
I've the same problem.
HD2 eu
radio : 2.15.50
hspl 2.08
magldr 1.10
rom dft nand android
I can't go back to winmo because i can't enter bootloader : it always reboot on magldr.
I tried :
- vol down and start
- vol +, vol - , reset and start (difficult)
- flash a win stock rom
- start on gold card with leoimg.nbh
- start bootloader mode with quick boot
- flash a winmo rom under magldr (4- flash usb)
what else ?
The only thing i can do is to flash a new nand android rom (and they're all right !) with magldr (the buttons work well).
I always come back to magldr and android.
Is there an ADB command that could restore bootloader or flash a winmo rom ?
This is really threatening 0.0
Thanks god, my tmous hd2's bootloader is still working well..
I had the same problem today, and I fixed it by flashing an old official Rom, then installed the SPL (choosed 2.08 HSPL), then immediately flashed the custom ROM BlueTopia for Desire HD, and finally installed MAGLDR 1.11
Hopefully it will work for you

K guys, here's my try. I read all of the [DFT]MAGLDR 1.11 released! [GOGOGO stuck fixed] thread, downloaded the full android SD version which was posted by Letama.
- I entered TTY mode with MTTY(always crashes the first time started on my Win7x64 LT (TTY init) btw second start succeeds ;-) )
- I entered "ad run2" which means start from SD, with provided settings (Android)
Then I get:
ANDROID LOAD at 11800000
from MicroSD
Load zImage
K: /ANDROID/zImage
Load initrd.gz
I: /ANDROID/INITRD.GZ
[K]11808000:2206C4 12200000:93249
Load done!

.... Back to TTY USB....
tried to export logs with

result:
ram console size is 0
ad log 2
result:
ram console size is 0
hmm
retry without any cable connected:
ANDROID LOAD at 11800000

[K]11808000:2206C4 12200000:93249

go go go!
Now it hangs in the HTC logo splash screen...grrr
Reboot to MAGLDR
Back to TTY once more..
Cmd>ad log
ram console size is 0
Cmd>ad log2
ram console size is 0
Cmd>ad logsd
done!

I check the SD card (on a USB reader)...
There's a file called DMESG.txt but is empty...
Hmm
Now What? Anyone any ideas?

I can play Tetris though ;-)

do you have HardSPL 2.08 ??? because in magldr thread it is written as required
1. Wrong section -> There's a Magldr topic, search for it.
2. First read, then act?
Have you installed a rom yet? Does the phone boot to Magldr? A little more info is useful..
Booting into bootloader via: turn on the phone, hold volume down key while booting
Booting into Magldr: turn on the phone and keep the power button pressed down untill Magldr comes up.
Not sure...
Its possilbe that i didn´t update it to 2.08. I think i have got 1.42 but im not sure. If I only could connect my phone to my laptop...

Can you get to 3 color screen where it writes hspl version etc. ?? if yes try to install HSPL 2.08 and then the magldr
I have got 1.42. (i think that the problem! Im able to get in the boot loader but not to MAGLDR . I dont hava a NAND version of andird on my phone but i have got a Windows moble rom on it. Is there a possiblity to bot the WM throgh the bootloader that would be all i need!
im able to get in the bootloader (3 colourd screen) but how should I be able to install a new HSPL without a connection to my Mobile device center?
Do it within this way:
1. Make sure you have HSPL 2.08 installed
2. Install TASK29. If you need it search for this.
3. Install "RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.exe" on your device. Do some settings within Windows and SHUTDOWN!!!
4. Press VOL-Down and press POWER ON until you will see the flash boot screen.
5. Now install MAGLDR 1.13 (v. 250MB Edition)
6. IF THIS FAILS - install Windows AGAIN and after all install MAGLDR 1.13 WITHOUT Task29.
Yesterday I have done a complete reset. Installed my O2 firmware and replaced my original bootblock. After all I have had the same problem that MAGLDR won't install on this device. I have tried it with 1.12 and 1.13. NOTHING, device boot until the WHITE HTC logo and nothing more. But ANDROID was installed bevore.
After that procedure I was able to flash MAGLDR 1.13 again.
thanks for your help imm try to do anything you have told me! I flashed HSPL 2.08 and Magldr also started. Thankl so much for your Help. Now i will try to install DiserZ andrid rom!
How is it possible to boot windows with MAGLDR? and how is it possible to remove MAGLDR?
If you want boot WINDOWS ONLY: you don't need MAGLDR.
If you want to delete MAGLDR: just use Task29 ROM.
If you want restore all to default:
1. Download your ORIGINAL ROM from your Provider or HTC.
2. Use 7zip and unpack the EXE file.
3. Search the file "RUU_signed.nbh" and rename it to "leoimg.nbh".
4. Format your SD Card with FAT32 format
5. Copy the "leoimg.nbh" to the SDCARD.
6. Insert Card into your device.
Now search the RESET button right next to the SDCARD slot on the back of your device:
7. Press the RESET button AND VOL-Down and when you see within the display "LOADING..." RELEASE both immediately and follow the instructions on the screen. It might be that you need 2 or 3 times until you got it
!!!! EVERYTHING !!! on your device will be erased after all. If you get an error that you are not able to flash "...bla, bla, bla..." don't cry - just download your OFFICIAL ROM by device serial number on the HTC website.
Unpack this EXE (again), rename the *.nb0 file and just do it again.
Is there anyone willing to help me about instaling NAND android ?
Specific this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18313782
.
I have HSPL4 and thats everything i know. If there is anyone willing to help me step by step i would apreciate it cause i fail everytime I try. Thanks
The steps are on the first post of that page:
MAGLDR Install Manual:
•Download archive with the MAGLDR loader and Recovery from here than unpack its content.
•Connect PDA in bootloader mode ("mattress") and run LeoAdvancedRUU.exe from MAGLDR folder
•Wait for PDA reboot and clamp a key "Power". Connect PDA with cable to PC
•Install the driver if the PC doesn't see a PDA connected (download from here)
•Wait for PDA reboot and get to the MAGLDR menu . Choose point “USB Flasher” by arrows and press the call button "Green button"
•Run DAF.exe from MAGLDR_Recovery folder
•Wait for PDA reboot and get to the MAGLDR menu . Choose point “AD Recovery” by arrows and press the call button "Green button"
•Choose point "Install zip from sdcard" by arrows and next "Choose zip from sdcard", choose our archive with firmware (the firmware should be thrown preliminary on a sdcard) and press a call button "Green button"
•After the installation finishes get to the menu again. Press a key "Back" and choose point "Reboot system now".
•The PDA will reboot and the Android will be started. The first start a bit longer then usual
If you've already installed Magldr and recovery, then all you have to do is get the .zip for your Android build onto your SD card and then follow the rest of the steps above to install zip from sdcard.
It's a remarkably easy process.
I enter boot mode pressing down when powering ? will there be any problem cause i have HSPL4. Friend told me its not possible to do with HSPL4
I did the thing with advanced leo ruu and now its stuck on white HTC screen on power on :S
When you get to tri-color screen, does it list HSPL as 2.08?

Reflashing factory ROM won't change HSPL. A quick search shows that you need to go back to stock SPL, then up to HSPL 2.08
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
4) Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.
That thread is actually a good place to post your problem, since it's still quite active and SPL/HSPL are in the way of you getting things flashed correctly.
It's possible to flash HPL 2.08 without uninstalling 3.03.
I've already tried it without any problem
Do u have skype msn or any familirar stuff ? I would like to have u online when I try to do that ?
Sorry, I don't have any hands-on experience with what you need to do. I only know the concept. :\
Hi,
I want to instal WP7 on my HTC HD2.
In the tutorial i use i should use the Rom update utility to get MAGLDR on my phone.
When i try to use this utility i don't get further than 0% and after some time i get a error (error 626)
What i did is:
- I reseted my HTC HD2.
- I started the Rom update utility. It says that i need a update from 1.66.404.1 to 2.00.000.0.
- So when i start this it will restart my phone and show me a progres bar.
This will stay on 0% and after 10 minutes the utility gives me a message that says:
You connection is lost(error 626). Than i need to "recover" my phone by taking the battery out and put in in again.
When i do this it wel restart my phone with the WM6.5 so nothing happend.
I tryed the following things:
- A different usb cable and usb port.
- redownload the Rom Update Utility from this site.
- Hard reset my phone.
Nothing happend a still geth the same error.
Does someone know how to fix this?
Or is there a defferent way to install WP7 on my HTC HD2.
Thanks,
Maarten

I will try that thanks.
I finished step 0.5 and 1.
But when I am at the line "When phone boot in MAGLDR use:"
I get stuck.
The MAGLDR is installed but when the phone restart i get stuck on the white HTC screen.
Any clou what i should do next?
if not boot, press and hold power button to start magldr....
I tryed it but it wont do anything else than go to the white boot sreen with the Green HTC logo.
I tryed to press the power button for a long time and while he is booting.
Butt notting more than te boot screen shows.
The only way to start the phone again is to remove the battery.
I can get in the "red-green-blue-white screen"
I already tryed to reinstall the magldr. But no luck.
And what do you meen with "in not boot"?
The only thing it does do is boot to this logo and that's it. So its always booting when i turn it on...
"if not boot to magldr"
which HSPL you have installed on device?
try install WM6.5 first then install magldr....
first time when phone boot after magldr flashed, must boot to magldr automatically
I have HSPL2.08
It doesn't start the magldr automatically.
Even if i hold the power button. It just starting with a white boot screen with HTC logo.
Don't know how to install wm6.5 again.
Please help. I would like to use my phone tomorow again.
Edit:
Maybe it's bricked...
boot to threecolor screen and flash WM6.5
Ok I flash back to WM6.5
What to do now?
Follow the instructions again i asume.
Anyway many thanks for your help!!!
yes, after flash, install magldr and continue...
Ok I flashed my phone back to WM6.5
This is working again.
After that I installed the magldr but it doesn't load anything after that.
It says the flash went correct but when the phone reboots it goes to the white htc boot logo. And thats it.
Even if i start the phone with the power button on it doesn't go to the magldr.
Did i install the right one?
I installed the MAGLDR113_DAF
After that i tryed to flash the rom to WP7.5 but is says that the phone is not connected.
Don't know what to do anymore.
you cant flash WP7 without magldr menu (setting options and enable USB flasher in magldr)...
yes this magldr is ok...

did you perform the magdlr prep steps of clearing the mbr and uselast24nand from the services option of the main menu, then select option 5 (main menu) usb flash...then flash rom?

I used the manual from dxdy:
STEP 0.5 - from same beginning, WP7 never or not installed on phone
- If needed (if Android NAND installed, or if any error during flash
process, erase NAND with Task29). Flashing WM6.5 not needed.
- if you have SIM locked phone and want unlock with code, you can this only in WM6.5
- insert formatted microSD card to FAT32 in phone
- flash radio if you want (if flash version available) or use radio upgrade during ROM flashing (put radio file
part00.bin in data.zip file before ROM flash)
STEP 1. - when HSPL and/or MAGLDR not installed
- Flash HSPL 2.08 if needed (put device in bootloader before Flash:
press and hold Volume down + Power button)
- Flash MAGLDR 1.13 (put device in bootloader before Flash:
press and hold Volume down + Power button)

- I didn't erease the NAND with Task29 because i don't have android installed.
But after the last step it wont go in to the MAGLDR.
- I didn't Flash the Radio. Is this needed?
Where can i find the radio version that is installed? Or does it need to be a tweakt version from this forum?

you should do task29 whether you have android or not....between flashes even if wp7. task29 cleans out the memory area where the OS will reside.
as for the radio...radio thread for the TMOUS radio is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111613
more than likely you shouldn't have to flash a radio, but it won't hurt. only have to do it once.
in order to use the rom flash utility...you have to go into magdlr main screen...scroll down to and select 10. Services, then select 5. CleanMBR, and then 4. Uselast24NAND. Finally, back at the main set of options select 5. USB Flash.
Then you kick off your DWI.exe in admin mode.
