Hey, I moved from the Captivate to the Fascinate (carrier issues), still use my Cappy offline (except for wifi), and still post about once every 6 months or so in the Captivate forums. I'm sure it won't be long before you miss the Super AMOLED display and be glad you kept your fasc
Oh, BTW... you won't have to say goodbye to all of us... adryn, jt, and SonOfSkywalker all joined the Tbolt forum before you - be sure to check out their work...

Plus, thatdudebutch is there (remember the superdark ROMs?) He's working with adryn on the BAMF series. Check out the BAMF Gingerbread Remix ROM - it's a thing of beauty.

Bet that next summer they release a multicore with slide-out. I'm guessing they're banking on most of us having 2 yr upgrades. Epic 2 is just a toy for those with a 1 yr upgrade that wants a bit of a boost or those coming to Sprint that like the Epic but don't want to buy a 1 yr old phone and also want a slideout.

The problem is not now but future...lets assume you keep phones for 1 year...so sure right now Epic can run everything as-is great..but in the next year there will be apps made specifically to take advantage of the dual cores..and little by little we will fall behind...

Pentile on a WVGA resolution screen like the one in Galaxy S was very noticeable. This is probably the reason why pentile is hated by so many regardless of the resolution
