Are you installing apps + data with titanium backup?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
yes and only user apps
Only install the apps not the data. That's why it happens right after u do that.

Does anyone know what it is in a ROM, that when you sign into Gmail, it downloads all your applications that were installed on your device? Ive noticed alot of ROM's lately that are lacking this feature, and was curious as to what allows a ROM to do this.
Thanks
Your market saves all your paid apps. The rest you have to have a backup with like titanium backup

It also happens in the Glacier.
My theory is this. the first time you sign into your Google account via a Android phone it picks up the phone model. and the first time you sign in it figures you just got that phone so it will re-download the apps to that phone. and once you change ROMs and resign in it think "hey this phone already as the apps" so it doesn't kick it to the new ROM.
In any case the best thing to do is use Titanium Backup.
Sounds like a good theory to me.

Check under settings /privacy /back up + auto restore. I believe that's what the initial setup access.
I don't like it, new rom = new app install, just easier to eliminate problems not related to rom.

Hi guys i've been noticing since last night that my home screen keeps foreclosing on me and whenever a message comes in it comes in slow. At first I thought it was my launcherpro acting so I decided to go back using the stock launcher but then the foreclosings kept occurring and even when opening Apps it would seem slow to open them. Can anyone help or tell me how to fix this? Thanks
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
I'm really sorry, but I couldn't help this...
Blame the bad economy if you're foreclosing!
Lol nice one

Whenever i get forces closes i usually solve it by clearing the data in the app manager or uninstalling and reinstalling.
Are you using a stock rom?

Are you using stock ROM or custom?
Try reflashing the custom ROM if you are. Remember to wipe data / cache / dalvik. This usually solves most problem
My phone is not rooted its stock everything

Also when I flip through my home screens the contact is very delayed

Did the forcecloses start after you installed launcherpro?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Ive had launcher pro for about 2 months and it would fore close once in a while but nothing too bad. I uninstalled the app and it then the stock launcher started foreclosing on me
I think one of the system file is messed up. I'm not sure though. Maybe you can try to unroot it and flash a stock rom (or hell, just go with a custom rom) to see if it's fixed.
I ended up doing a factory reset on my phone and everything is back to normal thanks for the help guys

usually FC are cured by fixing permissions.

I've had the same problem after installing an app called App2SD / Pro version, after that i realized that apps that i moved to external SD have begun to disappear randomly from my screen, i can always go back and put them back on the screen but it's just annoying.
I have the same problem, Apps installed on SD and reboot, gone from the homescreen. I didn't look further into that cause I read somewhere that this is a bug only on the Vibrant through the Samsung TouchWiz...
I think I'm going to unninstall that darn app lol.

Hey, I'm new to android (own all apple gear, iPhone, iPad, ATV ect.) I just purchased a nexus 7 about a month ago and am pretty comfortable with it now. I rooted and unlocked and am wondering how I make a full system back up. I have been reading web pages and forms for days and found thousands of methods but most require a insane amount of steps and various programs. I'm just wondering if someone can let me know of a app that allows a complete backup (ie. All my apps, games and saves, settings, screen layout) kind of like a iCloud backup.
P.S. I'm aware of titanium backup, from what I'm reading all this app does is back up apps/games and their settings/saves along with everything else out there... I want to save everything ! Including my screen setup, widgets, settings, everything
Thx !

Titanium backup, save your apps with your apps data.

But does titanium back up settings...like home screens set up for example?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Use a custom recovery like twrp or cwm, easiest full backup ever.If you want to be able to update or change rom with same apps and data after install then titanium is a god send.

That's exactly the answer I was looking for ! Thanks !

Of course, titanium backup apps and it's data. Means, all your setting or score (games) will be backed up.

I'm happy with twrp it handles the encryption does everything I need
S-health works when I first launch it and setup all my info, but after that it immediately force closes and will no longer open at all.
This is now a cross Rom issue for me. Only restoring back to my stock Rom will get s-health working properly.
Is anyone else having this issue? I've tried wiping cache/wiping data and even different touch whiz based roms. I'm thinking what caused the issue is when I restored the app from titanium backup.
Any ideas?

No one cares about s-health other than me I take it?
Really? No ideas from anyone?
