This is an extended power menu on top of the stock deodexed KH3 framework files associated with the power menu.
Just flash it with clockwork mod and you're good to go.
I haven't seen it anywhere yet, so I thought I'd throw it out there.
Warning: will break aosp lock screen

hmm.. flashed it and it put back the glass lock instead of the aosp lock screen.. do you have a version that can have the aosp lock and your extended power menu? Or did I mess up?
I reflashed the aosp lock screen but it took away your power menu and I am back to the three options again..

Its just straight stock with an extended power menu so any other custom tweaks you have may get affected by this.
I was searching tutorial to mod power menu too and you save me haha
Now Stock KH3 has everything perfect!
Thank you

I originally tried adding data mode toggle, but I couldn't get the code to work. Have to do more research on it. It was in KF1 (2.3.3) but was removed in KH3 (2.3.4).
Works with Fusion II but changes the battery icon to a vertical non percentage one!
Already states "stock" KH3 which means no percentage battery.
Try UOT kitchen to get another.

I know cyanogen mod adds reboot to the power button but im not sure how you can add it to other roms. Sorry
I have been using an app called Quick Boot by Sirius Applications Ltd it is free in the market. It lets you do a reboot, boot into Recovery and Boot into Bootoader just by launching the app. small and simple.
yea i know about quick boo i have it too but just thot it was more convenient to already have it on the power button...
also i had other stuff like turning on hotspot and other options i cant remember...

I wasn't aware that the problem was with the custom animations... good to know.... but I don't think that the problem is really severe enough to pay much mind to it.
I'm moving this to General because it's not really development related.
Not sure this is on topic but i'll give it a go.
My phone has just updated to 2.2.1 (thanks vodafone) and now has a new unlock screen when it first wakes up. This involve two sliders, one that appears to be a screen unlock, and the other something to do with silent/volume.
The phone unlock would e good, if i couldn't just press the menu button a second time to achieve the same end. Can the menu button be cancelled, in order to make the unlock bar useful?
Also, is the other slider bar customisable?
Failing this, is there anywhere that actually goes through all of the main changes, so I can educate myself?
Cheers, Steve

I can't find anything under settings about Cyangenmod but my system info says:-
Android version 2.2.1
Baseband 62.50sj.20.17u_2.22.28.25
kernal 2.6.32.9-27237-gbe746fb
build number FRG83D
Does this narrow it down?
If it helps, settings wallpapers, does not then send me off to animated wallpapers. So maybe it's not a full 2.2.1 because vodafone realise that they stripped out too much memory/cpu originally that its not man enough to run some stuff.
Cheers.

I am just confused. Put it this way. In order to wake up the phone and start using it, I press the menu button. This opens up the unlock screen, cool.
Here's the problem, do I now move my thumb from the menu button and swipe it across the screen to unlock my phone..........or do I just press the menu button again. It does the same thing. So what is the point of the unlock swipe?

I suppose depending on the circumstances it might be easier to press a button that you can feel than something on a touchscreen that you can't.
There have been times when I have been wearing my gloves at work that the touchscreen doesn't respond to well while wearing them. However hitting the menu button works fine for exiting the lock screen.
How's that for an acceptable answer?
hi to all!
i have an ICS 4.0.3 Beta on my device.
we all know that it dosent come with Reboot or Screen shoot options.
iv'e been searching the forum for all day and cant find a MOD for this?
is there one like this?
thanks for any one how helps me out!
At themes and apps section, hansip87 made a mod for reboot option in power menu and volume stepping to 30(original is 15 only). I'm using that mod right now and it's great.
And for screen shot, press power button together with volume down button and it will capture your current screen. Or just use an app from market, e.g. Screenshots app.

thanks, but cant find the post. can you link me to it, please?
BTW, i ddi try the power key and volume down method, but did not shoot my screen.
should i see any respons or message on the screen? or does it save it do the phone/SD?
thanks for helping.
Edit:
is this the one you are using?

and what ICS rom are you using?
Yup that's the thread.
I'm using stock ICS Beta ROM. With recovery kernel by cobrato in dev section.
Screenshot should work, press it at the same time and you will hear a capture sound also and will be saved in sdcard/screenshots.

im interested in that aswell. is there any way that i could mod this myself on my current rom without reflashing it? Im on jj's hybrid ics rom (which is awesome by the way) and the only thing im missing is percentage battery in status bar and the reboot option.
the mod or the battery percentag is very worng.
both battry indicator, from the market, and another widget from the market, say different thing, but they say the same.

I loved the active but I'm with you on accessories. I bought a fairly nice case and there's so many more options for the future. Plus, if I ever want to replace the housing of the device, or even just change the color of the battery door, it'll be much simpler with the original S4. Also I don't think the Active will ever have the ROM and modifications support the S4 has even when/if they eventually get a custom recovery.

I'm on stock TW with Nottach and it doesn't seem to work for me (and a lot of other people). I've tried the shortcut option and the Nottach way (which basically is the same) and neither seem to work.
on any rom except mint jelly all mods have to be done through the xposed installer or nothing will work.you have to place the nottach Xposed apk on your sd card (or on phone storage i suppose) then you have to install with an app called xposed installer which you can get from the xposed thread. install the framework thru the xposed installer. After installing hit the module button top right and check the xposed module apk..All mods are done from there or nothing works. also when changing colors make sure the switch top right on the color choosing screen is turned on or again nothing works. give it one more try..

Don't get me wrong, I would love to do this as a flashable MOD for my DeOdexed stock (1st Gen P-Rom) without having to install anything else and I encourage anyone that can do it. I just pointed out the other thread in the APPs section so people interested can see if there is any further information in that thread that they might want to check out.
I think the "X-Posed" Mod and Nottach's contribution is awesome and potentially one of the best things that can happen for this phone, but just a simple MOD for the torch to work via volume keys sure would be nice.

seems a little buggy on the torch..This is what works for me. With screen off, power button on,power button off, then volume up. Doesn't work for me. Neither does switching music tracks with the volume keys. Anything involving volume keys just won't work using Xposed for me. :'( But the brightness shortcut works fine, I just wish the actual button hotspot was a little larger; I generally have to be sure to touch the very center of the icon for it to work.
Right now I'm just using Flashlight LED Genius, which turns on the torch on the lock screen when you shake it. Seems to work pretty well. And gives me some exercise!

3Minit was pretty great. But development stopped and it was pulled from the app store. And I have neither the framework nor the corresponding settings app backed up anywhere to re-install. Honestly, cosmetics aren't a big deal to me, so I can perfectly well get by without most of those functions. But the one thing I care about is also the one thing I haven't found a fitting alternative for: changing button behavior.
To be clear, here is what I used to have my device doing:
Menu Long Press - Launch Colornote
Home Long Press - Screenshot
Home Double Tap - Recent Apps
Back Long Press - Kill app
Now, I know that there are xposed modules like wanamp that will let me restore my old settings to the back and home button. But I haven't found a solution that lets me alter what the menu button does too. I want to be able to launch Color Note from anywhere with a long press once again.
Solutions?
I also just formatted my hdd and have no backup of the framework..
I hope gary is coming back soon.
could anyone deliver a downloadlink in the meantime?
