There are widgets to display a scrollable bookmark list for the stock browser. There are widgets to display individual Dolphin browser bookmarks. There's a widget to export Dolphin widgets to your SD card. Isn't there a widget to display a scrollable list of your Dolphin browser bookmarks that updates when you add or delete? I don't want to manually edit stock browser bookmarks every time I edit my Dolphin browser bookmarks (a clumsy work-around). This seems like an obvious function that's missing AFAIK. Any solutions (no, I'm not smart enough to write code)?
Ive noticed that there has to be some kind of gestures. Because sometimes i can get the browser tab window up without clicking the icon. But i cant figure out what i pressed. Is there a list of gestures for the default browser

How do I get my defy to always display websites in desktop format?
I went into my browser, went to about:debug, went to UA string, and changed my options to desktop.
However, most pages still load the mobile sites. Any idea on how to fix this?
What browser are you using? Most have a user agent setting in browser settings.

Major websites will have an option to switch to their desktop version.
Dolphin Browser, Opera, Chrome and most every browser has a specific option, just look in the settings or at the bottom of the startpage, you should notice a label for display in mobile or desktop.

I am using the default browser and would prefer not to download a different browser. Is there a way to set it so that it always displays websites in desktop mode?
I like to use the stock Android browser because I can do the split screen thing. Problem is, the default settings take up way too much space for the URL bar, menu bar, etc and leaves less room for actual browser content. Is there some way to change to a more compact theme?
settings - labs - first checkbox
(or you could try dolphin browser)
Thanks!!

I like Chrome, but I think it's laggy compared to stock browser.
With some editing you can make any browser run in multi window. Search XDA.
When I play game, I like to open the game menu and read news/reddit in the in-app browser. But it only opens chrome. Problem is chrome has ads and it make it lag. How can I change the browser? I change my default browser in app setting still it opens chrome.
