As u know x10 mini pro gets this driver and as I understood it works even better than our dt (it's real dt/MT) the question is is there any chance to have it on our x10?
Did u ever played a gameloft game which needs dt?in this case u will feel the lack of real dt.

I believe that if mt was possible then we would of already had it. Its been said over and over again that the x10 can't support mt.

Yes and managed to give us buggy dual touch. If it is a huge conspiracy then why did they even give us the buggy dual touch? Why not just maintain that anything other than single touch was impossible?

There was a huge out cry for MT.
But if they gave us proper MT then buying a arc, play or neo.
Would seem less viable.

There was no huge outcry....
People thought that it wasn't possible, they were upset but there was no huge outcry at all
Why would there be an outcry for something you didn't think was possible?
If anything se willingly came our about the dual touch upgrade possibility without any pressure.

Did you read any of the blog comments?
Even the one's SE deleted?
:edit
What seems like an eternity ago, the X10 was announced with a capacitive screen but no support for multitouch and was met with incessant rants from users all demanding the same thing in rather an “Attack Of The Clones”. Sony Ericsson suffered greatly with negative reviews flowing in, not helped by the outdated OS, and it seemed the “Revenge Of The SE-haters” was stronger than ever. However, keen fans were offered “A New Hope” when Sony Ericsson suggested via their blog that the feature would be added in future updates:
“Xperia X10 has a capacitive screen. It does not support multi-touch functionality at launch, but is considered for the future.”
Sumit Malhotra
That hope was soon dashed though as the “Empire Struck Back” when SE stated that the X10 would not be receiving multitouch and lacked support for the feature through both software and hardware limitations:
“I don’t have any technical details around the screen to share, sorry! – However I have now gotten confirmation on the question of multi touch. As said earlier there’s no multitouch in X10 – and I also can confirm that it’s not only related to SW but also to HW.”
Rikard Skogberg
It appeared all hope was lost as without hardware support there was surely no way back but on a remote moon some determined hackers were not about to give up and managed to make rudimentary multitouch gestures work on the X10. SE apparently noticed this and decided, not to be shown up by the community, that they should get in on the act themselves which brings us officially to the “Return Of The Multitouch”!

like I said though people were definitely upset but I hardly saw a huge outcry, not like the one there was for support past 2.1 anyhow.
Regardless, if we could even improve this dual touch I would be happy, playing games us brutal when one of the controls either sticks or doesn't respond..

So as I understood the x10 hardware doesnt support it but isn't it strange that x10 mini pro have it and our x10 with same genre doesn't??

Unfortunately I don't know much programing
Even if it's just 2 touches without the jittery jumpy crap.
I will be completely happy with my x10.

I just find it odd that the x10 being way more expensive and the x10 mini being cheaper.
Well you get the point.. why would it be weaker?

yes, the best rated android phone of all time (by ALL major electronic reviewers) sucks LOL
Better to listen to some random guy and get a phone with an outdated processor, for the same amount of money. Instead of getting an incredible phone, get a mediocre one for the same price!!

Arc is outdated now, imagine 6 months from now? If you were going to do that I'd say just stick with your x10 until a phone worth upgrading to comes out. The arc is hardly an upgrade, and costs the same as the sgs2.
Would be a stupid move imo.....

You're not mature, get out thanks. Fanboy reviews only tell the positive things, but the phone lacks many standard functionality. It wouldn't be a smart choice to upgrade from a x10 to SGS2, only if you go for the CPU/Screen. But it's a phone, what kind of screen do you want LOL?

Yeah, CM is the base for most custom ROMs nowadays for many devices
and has really taken Android to a new level!
It doesn't surprise me that Samsung embraced the CM community.
Not underestimating anyone's work, and I am not even speaking specifically for X10 community,
but it's one thing to tweak an already fully functional ROM to improve it
and another thing to use AOSP sources and compile a whole new firmware, like Cyanogen does.
Just want to get people's opinions. I want to thank the Devs for all their work for prolonging the lifespan of my x10 lol. It's been a few years and with the new google Prime I think i want the new hardware. Any1 else planning to get Prime?

I'm holding out for next year as my work may be subsidising some handsets for staff, and they tend to be good on these things, I'm hearing up to 50% off from HR at the moment. Of course, I am also risking the handsets they have being old and grey...
But that's the chance you take when your sick of paying loads each month on a contract to get a good phone.
Back to the topic, Samsung's screens are just amazing. I was thinking about getting the S2 a few months back. I just never really was a Samsung person either and the Prime looks great. It's a real hard decision for me on whether to wait or get one now.
Specs look good, but not as groundbreaking as I was expecting from the new "Google phone". I suppose that might be due to the fact that most apps/games will run just fine on current hardware and they haven't really begun to support dual core properly yet. So no point in expanding the hardware when it will price the device out of the market for no real gains.

If these turn out to be real then I'd say with their new policies supporting developers and their bootloader opening and offering these two dual core devices I can't see any reason to not trust SE. Yes at first with x10 they were a pretty poor show but now 2 years on it seems they are back on track. I can't decide if not sd card space is good, would you need more than 32 gb? That really is a whole lot of storage! Only thing is can recovery menu work with no sd card to install files. This is definately a step in the right direction with their latest decisions and polices, good on you SE

Agreed. Like the front facing camera. Also want microSD card option. 32gb might seem a lot now but so did 128mb back in the days. 1080p or even 720p encoding takes a lot of space...then there's the media you put on (shows, movies, music, etc.). It adds up quickly.
