No need to apologize, just saying we have no experience with fit.
Try setting your USB mode in settings, wireless and network, USB settings. You can also try enabling or disabling the USB debugging in settings, applications, development menu.

to what exactly are you referring?
you mean USB tethering? or wifi tethering? or does our phone have a magical 56kbps connection I didn't know about.

28.8kbps FTW LOL
i am not currently running CM7 but i heard Barnacle works for wifi Tether

Could be that he doesn't wanna tether and wants to do qpst stuff while on cm7, which you would need to be able to enable DUN to do.

This guy knows what I want! I want to change my M.IP and PPP settings through QPST (So my data connection works on Cricket), but the phone needs to be in DUN/modem mode to do so. The stock code to switch between PDA and Modem doesn't work
You will have to revert to stock rom or a touchwiz based one. I searched all over the cm7 forums and found only a few things that were not related to the fascinate.
Read the rom sub forum here on the fascinate on how to successfully revert from a CM7 type rom back to a touchwiz

I had to do this to get cdma-workshop to work.
Thanks for the info, I was really hoping to not have to change back I might look at other ROMs then too.

I searched and found some similiar issues on other devices ,but my problem is i have issue connecting to usb with debugging on- i cant use adb or with debugging off- cant connect to the sdcard from usb either .All the drivers are installed and all the files are installed that are needed it is weird i can connect with my g2 and my desire but i cant connect to my glacier,it used to work fine ,i didnt change anything ,My rom is the same the only thing i might have done was changed radio and i tried out pimp my rom but i also cant connect via fastboot either.. Any ideas???I am on mimicry..
could it be an issue with 4ext??it isnt the usb cord or the drivers..When i plug it in my setcpu profile sees it as charging but there is nothing HOWEVER i can connect via wifi to adb but not to familiar with that..again your input would be apreciated!!
I'm not on mimicry so forgive me. Is there a setting for the default behavior when plugging in USB?

The only thing i find is pretty much like all the rest- is in developer option debugging on and off ,I will look again a bit more thoroughly ,i am wondering if pimp my rom caused this issue .i was reluctant to use it since my rom was very fast and stable ..But with all the high praise about it i decided to give it a go.there wasnt any setting in there that looks like it would of caused an issue but i restored a back up and still doesn't work, thats why i am wondering if it has anything to do with 4ext since fastboot doesn't recognize the usb either.

It would only be 4ext if it was an issue in recovery, I'd think.
Hmm, I hope your usb port didn't take a dump.

You should be able to connect from boot loader with SDK at all times unles you have problems with drivers or java version is incorrect on your pc using windows

I think my pins for charging are okay but the board that actually houses the pins looks like it is cracked,so maybe the pins for power are okay but the data pins are bad!

yah I am able to use command adb connect 192.168.xxx.xxx:5555 and coonect with adb commands fine .so it is bad usb port
thanx I was trying to use that smali patch script but that requires a usb connection unless i can ask pepsicko to modify his script to allow wireless connections so i can connect that way or i will have to figure out another way i just hope i never need to use fastboot in recovery because i will be screwed
Sorry about your usb port

Hello, i wish you can help me with this...
i am currently using P.A.C True All in 1 ROM v20.0.0... and i cant find or it doesnt have the option to turn off the CRT Animation.
i have tried adding "debug.sf.electron_frames=1" to local.prop via adb without any results.
i am guessing it is because of 4.2.2 framework.. anyways im a noob on it..
any ideas of what should i do?

Just turn off the one after transition animations, then reboot.
