Animation screen on CM 7 - Wildfire General

Animation screen on CM 7
If you can not do without the animation screen on / off, you've lost or not you've ever seen, try to leave the device to fully discharge the battery until it shuts off. Keep on hand a battery charger and boot the device, after a complete reboot plug battery charger and see the animations on your screen. I hope works for you.
Sorry for my English
Bye all

drain your battery completely, let your phone switch off on its own. Reboot into recovery (dont plug in your charger yet, and dont worry - it still has some juice left) and wipe battery stats. Now boot up again, still not plugging in, and as soon as it stabilizes it should power off on its own. This time you will not have enough juice to boot up again. NOW plug in your charger, and after a couple of minutes, unplug and boot by holding power button+trackball (CWM recovery bug) and plug it in again. Dont use it till its fully charged. See if this helps at all.
Yeah I found your post yesterday 8am it was unplluged (music for about a hour, internet all the time, sms) and now its 10:35pm and I have left 27%. Better than 0

I read a thread. It is about battery problem with adw. Adw claims that the launcher will dry your battery. But I think the problem is already fixed.

Automatic power on after battery pull or normal power off.

im very confused...
im currently running ARHD 5.2 (was on leedroid before but didnt notice it then) and whenever i power off my phone or pull the battery after a few seconds it will power on again without me pressing any buttons.
the phone itself works fine but its just a bit annoying as i cant turn the phone off.
any ideas?
Thanks
Nathan
Had this issue a couple of weeks ago. I'm on cyanogen mod. Just leave the battery out over night

I had tha issue with Honeysense. I believe it is not ROM based issue.
It was so hard to get into recovery mode and it was only thing I needed because my phone was in endless loop during the boot. I can tell that I needed an third arm to put battery in, pres power button and vol down and put battery cover in place
I am having this exact same problem, have been having it for awhile but it wasn't too bad as I don't turn my phone off... This would be awesome to fix
Using ARHD 5.2.1
Not Rom issue as it happens on every Rom for me

Battery Out, USB In, Battery Back In. Shouldn't Power On. (Unless You're Using Magldr)

No. Assuming you are having Magldr, it is in fact a feature and not a bug (of Magldr, not the kernel). Magldr cannot charge your phone if it is switched off, and needs Android or Windows to be loaded to charge. So it boots the phone if it detects the charger/ USB when phone is off.
It does not cause any harm. But make sure you do not let your battery go completely dead, if you do then even if Magldr boots the phone the OS may not have enough power to load, leading to a bootloop.

Phone locks up when...

When ever I go to plug my phone in to charge if I plug it in and the screen isn't on the phone locks up and a battery pull is required to reboot. I'm on stock gingerbread 2.3.3 no mods themes root or anything. Is any one else experiencing or noticing this problem while running gingerbread?

Yup... Sorry it's happening to you, but glad to know it's not just me! But, that helps us narrow it down to being something in the rom itself and not a mod. I've been trying to get a log to see what is going on, but so far the logs just stop the instant I plug it in... No errors or anything. I've just gotten in the habit of of making sure the screen is on! Lol

I'm experiencing this too.. I've found that if you have the ticker grip sensor enabled you can manually turn on the ticker then expand it and the screen will turn back on.

Nexus 7 shutting down in idle state due to battery drain!

My nexus 7 was fully charged and I put it in the rack in the night. Next morning it shut down completely. When I switched it on, it showed battery 0% says 0% the same c thing happened today as well. Its a new device. Any idea??

Sure.. Here is the screen shot..

Some app or service is draining your battery. Get BetterBatteryStats to narrow it down.

I installed battery saver app.. I will check if it can do any good..

Like someone said before it's a rogue app and the only way your going to get the battery drain issue to go away is to figure out which app is doing it and then get rid of it.

I think the best solution for you is to factory reset or re-install android on your device once.
It will be easier than finding out where is the problem. as screen snap shows most of the battery is drained by "android OS".
It was just my opinion you can take it if you want.
My battery usage. Even though my screen on time was only about 2 hrs most of the battery was drained by the screen. So there music be something very wrong in your case.
I don't know about android virus but that might be an option.

Gonna follow along and disable my daydream as well since I'm having the same problem you are with it actually draining while on the charger (Stock ROM, Franco Kernel, OEM wall wart with gold tipped USB cable). Tis quite annoying to have to either keep the screen off or power down completely in order for this bad boy to charge...
