I have a vibration problem with my Ideos X5. I can't get any vibration when I get a message or notification. But It's completely normal on incoming calls. Vibration mode is on to always. It's same at the Silent mode.
What can I do for this problem. Thanks in advance,
King regards...
For the messages you can change that in the Messaging-app directly. If some notifications don't trigger the vibration have a look at the settings of the application where it does not vibrate.
I solved my problem in message settings menu. Thanks for helping

Hello everyone,
A small request on my HD2.
I adjusted my settings to vibrate + ring tone, what works.
By cons, when I put my phone on vibrate mode and I receive a call, my phone got a call in silent mode, but does not vibrate. Which means that I often miss my calls.
I wonder if someone has encountered this problem?
Perhaps manipulation in the registry?
In advance thank you,
Franky
My phone has completely stopped vibrating. It just makes a click once in a while when it should vibrate. TMO is sending me a new one.
Now this is not a coincidence!
Just as I read the title my phone - well, does nothing, but shows me someone is calling. It is in vibrating mode but it does not vibrate!
So, yes, I also have this problem!
When my Galaxy Note is ringing, at first there is a short vibrate and more there is no vibrate although i've set vibrate function on always.but it is work well for notification such as SMS.
It is noticable that when phone is silent , vibration works well on notification and phone ringing.
Another problem is when i use GO SMS instead of defult message of Android. In the GO SMS Notification setting everything is ok means that i've set vibrate on always and sms rington on silent and disabeld android default notification but vibrate doesnt work.
I test my phone vibration from *#0*# but vibrate doesnt work in this test.
Really i dont know this is hardware or software problem. Phone Rom is JPKK2 ( Official Rom).
How can i fix it??
Just got a brand new Note3. Loving it save for the way it handles notifications with vibration mode.
It seems to default to the long "Basic Call" vibrate tone no matter what I configure in the settings. I find this tone to be quite harsh if I'm lying in bed, for example, and get a message. This is true for both SMS and gmail, so far. Further, I tried disabling vibrate notifications in some apps and they persist regardless and always with the same long vibrate tone.
Is this a known issue that others are experiencing? If not, do you have any ideas how I can properly configure vibrate mode to work properly?
Thanks.
Hi, I have disabled all the vibration settings found on "Sounds and Vibration", as well as turned off the Vibration feedback to zero. But still I have the vibration feedback when I need to slide the call slider to receive the call! Anyone here to help me out how to turn off that vibration? I have also tried the call setting option without any success.
When notification of sms, whats up or other app is coming I feel vibration in Ring mode. When I turn off vibration In Settings/Ring & Vibrate notifications it stops working even in Vibrate mode.
How to setup vibration to feel it only in Vibrate mode when notification is coming. Not in Ring mode where I wanna hear sound only without vibration.
has anyone an answer for this? accessibility shouldn't be an option since it doesn't do the job we want and since we have a slider for this. Until some time it was working normally, I don't know how it got messed up!!
I want vibration in vibration mode and only sound in normal mode..
