I have cleanROM installed. that's it, nothing else. I went ahead and installed todays OTA and at work, where i normally have 4G, it won't connect. it doesnt say "error", simply "disconnected".
Anyone else having this issue?
by "cleanrom" you mean you have a custom rom installed? If you do, NEVER take ota updates when you are rooted.

How did you receive an update in the first place? Most custom ROMs disable the phone's autoupdate/OTA notifications feature to avoid issues like this.
lmao. what an 1D10T! lmao! Well, find out if you still have the key using the app. once you have confirmed you have the key. install the "STOCK!" rooted copy and attempt to connect again. lol. then if it doesn't work. get a hammer and smash all your fingers for being stupid. lol!
TIME AND TIME AGAIN, NEVER TAKE AN OTA! IT SHOULD BE COMMON SENSE! I could bet anything that sprint disabled their 4G network because they don't want to support wimax anymore. LOL!
So what does the update fix/break anyway?

PRL is preferred roaming list. Its a file that tells your phone what towers to roam on when you have no sprint service. It will NOT improve your sprint signal, your phone automatically connects to those towers, it only improves roaming capabilities.

this is why im debating if it's worth keeping cm7. id like to be able to update the profile, utilize phone codes for data resets and update my prl's. i do not see why the cm team cannot get these to work, i mean they got 4g & hdmi.
at least give us a prl that we can flash, using qpst is too time consuming, so is flashing sense to do it.

It's possible to flash a PRL update but someone has to pull it from their phone first. There was a flashable version of the last PRL linked in this thread.

No update to PRL 60679. Still 60676. Anyone got the PRL file for a manual update?
Me and manager just talked about 60679 on Monday. It fixes towers in New Mexico and North Carolina. Seems they are having major data roaming problems like Florida was having.
Nothing official from Sprint about 60679 though...and no confirmation if Samsung devices will get the update.

And here is the 1115 prl.
was at work and noticed my phone was roaming, but i'm in a sprint area - i was on 60679, did a prl update and now im on prl 60680.
couldnt find what the changes between the prl's.
if anyone want to guide me through pulling the info i'd be happy to do it to compare to the previous prl.
btw, I'm in Clinton, CT
Until AOSP has the ability to update prl/data profile, it sure be mighty swell if a fine young developer would hook us up with dual boot capabilities like the Epic has.

Same with me - on a business account - updated prl a few days ago and it went to 60679 from 01115?, and then today to the 60680.
they all seem to be the same as coverage near me goes - they must have added some other roaming areas/coverage (or removed it? based on verizon changes maybe?)
I was on 01115 [not a business account], updated today here in virginia, and can confirm the 60680 PRL.

You seem like the person to ask with as much knowledge as you know about phones and all the work you've created; good grief. I am stuck with Sprint and cant leave until next year without paying ETF; long story short; get terrible service and have airave (only works half the time and have 3 replacements-sprint does not want to address to issue; and me being on a SERO account probably doesn't help either) but someone in a different thread mentioned about a sprint diagnostic tool that you can use to force your phone to Roam verizon towers and get the boot rather quickly from sprint; unfortunately he said it was only for samsung devices; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774503

No you don't need to change your prl. Also, Several Shift ROMs like newSENSE Supreme Sense and StockMod have roam only as an option built in so you don't have to buy roam control if you don't want too.
